I’d guess in that case Wardog or David would go if they wanted to vote out a former Manu. Maybe Rick thinks he’s safe and throws his half idol in the fire, then Kelley and Lauren play their idols and he gets voted out? It’s be funny if they did a vote split and he left with 1 or 2 votes. Does anyone know what the fewest votes someone went home by?
-
Somehow I don't think Wardog is trolling, because I think he likes to hear himself talk and especially be right. So it'll probably be the typical 'what were they thinking, I was totally blindsided' after math. Ron will probably still try to be in control but take a step back and pretend he's not. There will be the 'now we can't fully them (Julia, Gavin) but we have no choice'. They are hyping up the TC more than anything. I'm curious who else wasn't in on the plan besides Wardog and the rest of the Kamas/Rick. Julia, Gavin, and Victoria are the other Eric votes. Did they not know? How else would they have known their plan would work if they didn't have numbers?

Some tidbits from Sucks: Wardog posted on Reddit that David and Julie are closer than is being shown. The posters there think there's a shot of Gavin wearing the immunity necklace as the tribes go to TC. And in the preview it looked like something being thrown in the fire, so speculation is either Rick or David throw their half of the idol in there, which could be where Jeff says "I've never seen anything like it" and the reaction we get from the jurors at TC. I think Kama gets back together, with Ron taking a big step back for the time being. It doesn't sound like Victoria wanted to vote against Eric, and Julie was blindsided along with Ron. Aurora wants to go with the numbers, but I also consider her a wild card to maybe go rogue this vote. Since Julia/Gavin made a big move the last vote, she might decide she wants to get some resume points. If she feels on the outs with Kama again, she might vote with Manu and use her extra vote. I have to think that Kama feels somewhat confident that Kelley/Lauren don't have an idol, since they haven't played one yet despite their names being thrown around and popping up at TC. Rick could throw his half idol into the fire to prove loyalty to Kama and stick it to David, and Kelley/Lauren could pull idols out which maybe makes Kama scramble last minute. I won't be surprised if a Manu ends up going this week (probably David or Wardog), and that this is all just build up to make it seem suspenseful.

I'm wondering if Bret/Chris were alternates. Caleb/Tai were a rumored team, and it was leaked by TMZ that they and two other teams made up of Big Brother players were going to be on. But none of those people ended up making it on, and some thought it was because they leaked their participation. I never liked MvsGX that much. It wasn't terrible, and definitely better than the seasons that came before and after it. But I think Adam winning soured it overall for me. And I found some of the end game players kind of dull.
-
I give them 30 minutes before they start yelling at taxi drivers and fighting with other teams. I couldn't remember Bret/Chris either but you're right lol Aside from Rupert these are kind of surprising picks, out of all the Survivor contestants they could pick from. And I could care less about seeing Rupert or his tie dye shirt ever again on any show.

https://tvline.com/2019/04/05/amazing-race-season-31-cast-big-brother-survivor/ In Survivor related news, the premiere of TAR 31 is being bumped up to April 17th (vs the previous May 22nd date). This season features teams from TAR, Survivor, and Big Brother. Rupert/Laura, Eliza/Corinne, and Bret/Chris are the 3 teams racing for Survivor.

I’m here for Colin and Christie. About freaking time they came back. I was confused when I saw the earlier air date, but it shows how much I know about Million Dollar Mile because I didn’t even know that was on after Survivor. Hopefully this will give TAR a nice boost.

My immediate thought was the KR idol that had to be played by Scot and Tai in order to work, and Tai didn’t do it so Scot went home. With a split idol in play, I thought of David and Rick and something similar happening. My other thought was Aubry’s advantage to Aurora coming back to bite Victoria or Gavin (or someone in Kama). My initial feeling is that Kama may go back to voting lines this week, along with Rick, but something derails the plan. This better be a good, unpredictable TC lol and I don’t mean everyone playing the game of telephone and we don’t get to hear anything. I wonder if idol threats come out and it makes everyone scramble last minute. For someone who thought he was in the drivers seat Ron sure looks defeated. Is it Julie who said she’s ready to jump ship?

Head of the Class! Loved that show. And yeah, I can definitely see that. Nice to know who Eric finally is.
-
I was thinking it might have to do with David/Rick’s idol and Rick regretting sharing it with him, but they already showed a clip of that so it’s probably something else. I agree the preview makes it seem like it’s going to be more exciting than it really is. I feel like it could be a double idol play and maybe that’s the whole past thing, that no one got rid of Wentworth and Lauren when they had the chance.

Since Chris and Eric are two rumored possible winners, it’ll be telling if one suddenly gets a huge uptick in screen time or some redemption edit. The finale is April 15th, and so far both haven’t been compelling. Until tonight I couldn’t even remember Eric. And I can’t believe he’d suddenly get a lot of screen time returning to the game and then just win. I suppose it could be possible, it seems weird.

You know, I have to laugh at the person arriving at EOE because of the big contrast of the warm welcome they (usually) get at Ponderosa. You have the first juror who sets the tone, and everyone is usually at least pleasant to whoever was voted out. Now this season, you have first boot Reem that’s basically burning holes into the backs of the newest arrivals with her death glare and making them not feel so welcome, as the rest of the exiles are semi bitter. I’m not sure if Survivor is the right game for Joe. He seems to take it very hard when he loses. Maybe he should stick to making guest appearances on other random game shows. He seems to do a lot better on those.

I went back and watched it. Jeff said “I’ve never seen anything like it”, and in the voice over he said “the sins of your past” (cut to a bunch of people scheming) “can come back to haunt you” (cut to the the flabbergasted looks of the jury and Probst saying that). It could just be some kind of wild deal making. Maybe idols get pulled out and are used as bargaining chips. The whole “sins of your past” has me curious as to what that could mean.

Kelley’s dad liked a similar tweet by Gordon Holmes last week. Dale isn’t the biggest fan of Joe, so part of me wondered if he ends up coming back and winning (or knocking Kelley out). The first rumors I heard were Eric won, and that the winner was supposedly from EOE because of a controversial ending. I can see that happening more than Chris returning and winning.

I loved when Rick looked at Ron and Eric and mouthed “no” while shaking his head. Loved seeing that smug grin wiped off his face. In all, tonight had some comedic moments.
-
So guessing Eric isn’t going to be well received on EOE judging by the “not so fast” he got from Reem. So next week we had the jury leaning forward and Aubry with her hands spread wide out to the point where it looked like she was holding on for dear life to the people next to her due to the excitement. What did Jeff say, the past may come back to haunt you? So is one of Julia/Gavin/Victoria going to get voted out after splitting from the Kama 7 this week? Does the past mean Rick? Wardog? I’m actually intrigued.

Malcolm has a few tweets about this season, and said if viewers didn’t have to keep up with 800 twists they might be able to show all of the cast and not have us at the merge not knowing who people are. Last season was great because while there were advantages and idols, there was a lot of old school game play mixed in as well. I think there should be one idol at each camp, once it’s played it’s not reburied, and maybe one advantage. But I think the idols would be fine.
-
Rick did a mid season interview where he said he wanted to align with the former Lesus, David, and Joe/Aurora since they knew they were on the outs. Then he found out the Lesus were voting for him and David. So I totally get his bitterness, especially since he didn’t seem to have a lot of hard feelings until last weeks vote. But I didn’t like how he was arrogantly spiteful at voting out the former Lesus, either. Where does he think he stood with Kama?
-
Thanks! I wasn’t paying attention at the end. I knew Julia and Gavin did. Glad to see some game play finally! I was very surprised by Julia tonight playing Eric over voting David our over Kelley.
-
I was wondering the same thing. I about had a heart attack when neither of them played it. I thought for sure one of them would. Seriously, I was rooting for a Wardog/Wentworth/David/Lauren final 4 but hopefully tonight the game is officially on and Kama strong is done.
-
If someone named Rick, Ron, or Eric didn’t go home tonight my TV was going through the window. I would have preferred Ron “not the puppet master or the pilot” Clark, but Eric will do. They really made Ron look like an ass tonight. I was thinking tonight that this has to be the most unrootable cast in a very long time-then Julia and Gavin redeemed that.
-
Also worth noting that this time last year I actually knew everyone in the cast. This season I’m still trying to figure out who Eric is, and only remember Gavin because he reminds me of a discount Nick/Donathan with the same fashion sense as Zeke when it comes to shirts. Otherwise has he said anything? And I’m lost on the rest of kama, but from what little I have seen of that tribe I find them obnoxious. I hope another tribe never dominates pre merge again. Season 1 was great because it was literally Tagi lost, Pagong lost, Tagi lost, Pagong lost all the way to the merge.
-
Yeah, the end of game spoilers that suddenly emerge are usually just lucky guesses. We’ve seen it many, many times where a tribe has the majority at the merge, then start turning on each other. Julia went from zero confessionals to suddenly getting screen time, so that could mean her exit is near. Ron is overconfident in his gaming ability, which is probably leading to his boot either this week or next. The one reason I’m slightly skeptical of an EOE returing player winning (especially Chris) is that he hasn’t gotten a ton of screen time, either before his boot or while he’s on EOE. Now I realize that could change as the season progresses, especially if he returns. But right now I’d say Victoria is getting the best edit for a winner. And maybe the controversial part is some deal was struck on EOE not to vote for Kelley or any retuning player or to stay Kama strong. Controversial can mean a lot of things. I have my doubts Kelley will return for a 4th shot, so that could be why Probst doesn’t like it.
-
Maybe that’s why it’s controversial, because of the Kama strong mentality. It was speculated it was controversial, but as I mentioned before, it could be TPTB didn’t like the winner and Probst favorite Kelley lost. Or just how the season played out. I didn’t watch his pre season assessments so I don’t know what he thought of Victoria. Her win wouldn’t surprise me, since she’s being edited as having a big role in setting up the Aubry blindside and has been the most visible Kama next to Aubry. I think this week David or another non Kama could go, but that they are setting the Kamas up for a downfall with their invisible edits and Ron’s arrogance. I am hoping he goes, however. Going against the spoilers above, I am leaning towards a possible Wardog boot as well. It could be that Kama feels comfortable voting against Lauren or Kelley and idols come out as well, since they may assume if the girls had them they would have played them already.

Yeah, EOE is right up Joe's alley. Only difference from the actual game is there's no challenges or voting people out. Otherwise, it's not different than creating a home on a deserted beach. I felt like Chris was the only one showing any incentive to make it semi enjoyable. So maybe it was hard when Rick was there, but not sure it'll be that way with Joe there. So maybe Kama did take the risk in thinking he'll be drained and exhausted when the next re-entry challenge comes. However, Chris didn't do too badly for being a 3rd boot, Wendy was already good in challenges...the only people who seemed to do badly were those that were already bad in challenges in the first place. I think life and eating will be more cushy and plentiful.
