Andy doesn't seem to like Eileen and it seemed like he was trying to get LisaR to say Eileen was a prude. LisaR defending Eileen (not that she needs defending since she comes across as fabulous) was great as was many of her self-depricating comments. LisaR comes across as strong, fearless, empathic and articulate so I had high expectations that she would own those texts and was disappointed that she folded. However, after re-watching the previews I think LisaR did what she had to do to protect herself. I suspect that Kim and bg are more vicious in person which is a surprise since they already seem horrible vicious on tv. I think LisaR got worked up thinking about being "shushed" (repressed verbally) as a child. She went to an emotional place and couldn't come back to neutral with Kim and Brandi goading and taunting her. She gets emotional, like Kyle, and then shuts down/backs off. She said a few more truths but team evil/rr (rum raisin) kept talking over her and not letting her get heard (about not being heard) then they gaslighted her by laughing then saying don't laugh, she is crazy. Then she folded like she did in Amsterdam. Maybe she gives in because she knows herself and knows that if she keeps arguing and getting work up then she will get to "glass throwing" stage. We all have our limits and no one is perfect. I think LisaR doesn't want to allow herself to be pushed past her limits again, so she folds. That's ok! Sure, I wished she stayed strong and didn't back down but if she fears that will push her into "evil" territory then I'm glad she has the self-awareness to not go there. Kim gets off on inflicting pain (emotional pain) on others. It's like crack to her. She was gleeful about LisaR crying and thought it was fake crying like her own fake crying (because that thing called Kim wouldn't recognize genuine emotions/crying if it smacked her in the face). Finally Andy did his job and pointed out Kim's lack of empathy and then she did a total turn around (fake) and did a fake acceptance of an apology (she collects undeserved apologies like the nasty troll she is). I don't think LisaR is more crazy than the average person (not bg or rum raisin crazy, well technically they have personality disorders imo). She has a family, job, friends, etc…her emotional "lability" isn't interfering with work/family/social/etc… I like LisaR's wacky style and don't mind that she can be emotional since she can also be analytical/logical. At least her affect and mood match.

Lisa Rinna: These are the Lips of her Life
Vicky8675309 replied to Lisin's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
Lisa should have said "I'll knock your teeth out" (whatever insult bg said) instead of "I'll fuck you up". All the other texts were honest and needed to be said. Fuck! Andy should have said what those texts said. Now I need to re-watch it since I don't remember the specific words used in the texts. I just remember thinking "YES! YES! YES! you tell em girl…why didn't Andy call Kim out on her relapse and call out Brandi on her talking about Kim's addictions" and then worried about how people would hone in on the "I'll fuck you up" text (while ignoring all of the threats made by bg). edit: texts not tweets -
I like how The Lisas, Kyle and Eileen all support each other. The instinctual touching of Kyle's arm by LisaV, Eileen arm around LisaR, and more were sweet. Lisa verbally supporting Kyle when she first started talking about the dog bite, Eileen's shutting down of BG when BG was jumping in on the tweets, and more was also refreshing. I like the interactions of that group (team anti-bg) and it feels organic. Andy playing into BG's hands by saying his age and "relating" to her was nauseating. Bravo can save a lot of money by firing Andy and BG.

I get it (not perfect here and never have been but still kept my shit together more than BG) and agree that Brandi CHOOSES to be a manipulative obnoxious twat. I think that is why I dislike BG more than I detest Kim. I think rum raisin is actually a horrible malicious person who is more tolerable when in a drunken stupor than she is when sober. BG is fake and I think choosing to be fake "in your face" (and behind your back) is worse since it fools some into thinking you are "cool" and "real" (whatever the fuck all this means, lol). The best I can explain it is that Kim is 98% "evil" and the real BG is 90% "evil". The fact that BG is fake, makes her 99% evil imo. I'm making up the numbers. Could all the positive comments about Brandi come from paid followers? Maybe they are from her social media team (can she afford this) with multiple Facebook accounts. I'm avoiding FB since I will become more disillusioned with society. How the hell can Brandi still have a fan much less numerous fans. Idiocracy is coming true! edit: typo

Kyle Richards: Pantene Poster Girl
Vicky8675309 replied to Lisin's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
I wish one of the woman would say that to Brandi when she starts whining about how other people's comments on her behavior hurt her kids. STFU Brandi! It is your own actions and your own words that hurt your children. edit: delete gibberish -
Why did Bravo subtitle Brandi's comment to Kim (saying LisaR is crazy)? Why does Brandi still have so many fans? Why do people feel sorry for Kim and/or still like her? I've seen people defend her in article comments and twitter (I don't go there much). Why hasn't Andy asked Kim about Brandi talking to a bunch of people about Kim's relapse/addictions, pain patches, implied suicide threats? Why hasn't Andy shut down Brandi's threats of physical violence and called out her acts of aggression? I can see how they would think that all these questions/interests make Kim & Brandi desirable as story lines BUT don't they realize the backlash will outweigh the interest and result in lower rating next season? If Carlton was on this season, I would not have watched it. If this toxic combination of Brandi/Kim doesn't come to resolution now then they shot themselves in the foot by just looking at short term ratings. One, preferably both, of them need to their contract not to be renewed.

Most washers come with instructions on how to use them (mine has then printed on the inside of the lid). Also detergents come with instructions and clothes have tags that have helpful information. It's not that difficult to learn how to wash clothes. I don't think this "skill" factors into parenting. I would hope that I was a good enough parent to raise my child so they could problem solve independently (assuming the child does not have MR) and figure out how to wash clothes. On the other hand, I can also see wanting to teach one's child as much as you can and doing laundry is a quick easy task to teach plus it can be a chore or task to earn an allowance, etc… I don't think teaching or not teaching one's offspring how to do laundry is a factor in parenting. -
I didn't know that and thank you for the information. Maybe they should keep using the guest writers (or hire one) who can write for all the characters and if they can't write for all the character then at least do a good job with fan favorites. I'm still wondering why Reid use to get headaches (they were building it up to something then just dropped that story). Despite watching it every week, I haven't read much about this show except for a while back when that had that contract renewal (or not renewed then renewed) fiasco. Interesting information about the lead showrunner--poor writer.

Kyle Richards: Pantene Poster Girl
Vicky8675309 replied to Lisin's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
Why were people (viewers of the show) unhappy when Kyle outed Kim's alcoholism? Was it the "outing" in general or how it was done (during an argument) or some other reason why people were upset with Kyle and the limo scene? I'm sure this has been already discussed-sorry- but I just found this forum this year and was curious. If there are links to old discussions about it then that would be helpful (genuinely curious and don't really get the anger…I think I am too biased). Personally it didn't bother me when Kyle exposed Kim's alcoholism during the argument in the limo. I think it is because one of my brothers is an addict (alcohol and drugs) and the only way I can now cope with him is by disengaging since I learned that arguing accomplished nothing except upsetting myself. I could relate to Kyle since I could see how a little alcohol could make her more disinhibited and then make the mistake of engaging with and arguing with an addict (throw in fucked up family dynamics/history and having to interact for the show which is paying you) …and it devolves into a messy argument caught on film. At least my brother isn't a narcissistic asshole. With Kim's personality disorder exposed, does anyone's opinion of Kyle and the limo scene change? Imagine all the crap Kyle had to deal with over the years. I think she is finally getting some insight on Kim and on herself (enabling and behavior patterns similar to victims of domestic violence) and I really hope she disengages from Kim. I sometimes get frustrated with Kyle (START SPOILER**: she kind of defended Kingsley or downplayed the seriousness of Alexia's injuries**END SPOILER) and how she gives in to Kim but then I actively tell myself she is like a victim of domestic abuse who seems to chose to stay with the abuser and then defends and makes excuses for the abuser. I don't think Kyle intentionally "plays the victim or martyr". I guess I will know next season since she should be clued in by Kim's behavior this season and should realize she needs therapy (learn how to internally and externally deal with her sister….) -

Vicky8675309 replied to Lisin's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
I think Kyle lets her emotions get in the way of her words and approach to debates/arguments. If she were less emotional, then she would likely be able to debate/argue in a logical manner. She doesn't seem unintelligent or "dumb" (probably average IQ). It seems that she gets wrapped up in her emotions and at the same time has to think about what she says so she doesn't get flack from her sisters (and ingrained since childhood). I imagine it is difficult to be emotional and feel compelled to filter (cover up how horrible Kim is as a "human being" and Kim's addictions)…add in trying to argue and it's a mess.- 3.4k replies

Towards the end I kept worrying that the boy would get run over (hit in the head) by the rescue/search boats. Weird that he was tossed in the water (doesn't fit the MO). This was one of the worst CM episodes and everyone has already listed most, if not all, of the faults. I did like the acting of the family but their actions could have been written better (I don't blame the actors for the writers choice of them family not helping the dad fight or the "keystone cops" like chase of the unsub and daughter). I didn't know that the writer doesn't like or can't write for MGG's character. They need to replace the writer with one who can write for all the characters. At least there weren't a ton of lovey dovey comments between Garcia and Morgan.

Lisa Rinna: These are the Lips of her Life
Vicky8675309 replied to Lisin's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
LisaR should have said "my bad, it should have said 'you're a fuck up' rather than 'I will fuck you up'". Then calmly drag Brandi into it (use Rum Raisin's and Puffer Fish's method of deflection). edited: left out a word edit: typo -
Hayley was better this episode but still was hateful when Blair was playing around (ninja, james bond, etc) after getting dressed up. Blair is kind of a prize from what I have seen: good looking, intelligent, employed (good job), sense of humor, remains calm when being verbally attacked, kind/polite, generous, acknowledges his mistakes, not into ditzy blondes (stereotype), can sort of break dance, saves people's lives…. No one is perfect but he seems like a good guy (but he went on reality tv…lol).

Was it Hayley or Blair who told Tyler & Laura that the scent was in bottle 4? I'm not sure if I would have told them. I wonder if Tyler and/or Laura would have told them if the situation was reversed. Hayley still annoys me (insulting Blair's appearance after he complimented her) but at least she wasn't as horrible as she was in all the other legs. -
S05.E21: Reunion Part 2
Vicky8675309 replied to Tara Ariano's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
According to the transcript Blackmamba so kindly provided: "Kim: (scrabbling for words) I do not want to have you there-" The fact that Kim doesn't want to have Kyle there at the wedding makes me think manipulative rum raisin would attempt to get Kyle uninvited. Also Kim saying "I don't want to not invite you" can be interpreted as. I didn't invite you but that wasn't something I wanted to do (LIES) I think Kim unintentionally exposed her intentions/actions which inadvertently supported Kyle's claim of not being invited (or was it being uninvited?) -
S05.E21: Reunion Part 2
Vicky8675309 replied to Tara Ariano's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
If Kyle is a pothead and starts eating all the food in the other women's kitchens (hey, that is why she doesn't go hang with Yo much---one almond and a lemon don't satisfy the munchies), offering their kids joints, burning holes in their furniture, stinking up their houses with smoke, etc then and only then should it be brought up since it would be affecting the other women. Otherwise who gives a fuck? It's not hypocritical to not want her pot smoking mentioned on tv (for her kid's benefit) and since it is not affecting the other woman and kyle was obviously joking about not knowing what a joint is called, then there was no reason for Brandi to bring it up. Kyle was being prudent/smart and was joking (not hypocritical imo) at coffee shop in Amsterdam. I think Brandi brought it up not because she felt like Kyle was a hypocrite but because she was mad/jealous at Kyle since Kyle and Lisa were being friendly and joking with each other and Brandi felt left out (she was left out due to her own actions last season and this season--you reap what you sow or some cliche like that). Personally I think Kyle maybe the rare user or used pot a few times. I don't think it is something she does frequently and her comments about how it makes her paranoid rang true. Is Brandi to trashy for a Valtrex advertisement? -

The first time Jackie said "couture" I thought she didn't know what it meant since it is essentially one of a kind and not something bought in a dress shop. Later I realized it was being used like "shine shine shine". I also liked her stylist. At least they don't have anyone like Brandi or Kim (Beverly Hills version) on the show…talk about an intense dark season. I watch Melbourne since it isn't as dark. I hope Gina doesn't get much worse…she has been my favorite and if she keeps getting bad then I will only be left with liking Chyka. I have to admit to kind of liking her very subtle shit-stirring ;-) -
S05.E21: Reunion Part 2
Vicky8675309 replied to Tara Ariano's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
Remember that great scene where Brandi asked Kim what a "hernia" was and Kim couldn't explain it. LOL! Kim is too stupid to google her fake health problems. She should take Thiamine 100 mg a day. So true but I wish Kyle or LIsa had spelled it out for everyone. The glass didn't touch/cut anyone so it wasn't any different from teeth not actually being touched/knocked in. I don't think Brandi gets analogies, metaphors, similes, comparisons, etc… so it needs to be brought down to a 3rd grade level. LOL;-) I know what "dish it but not take it" means but I don't think Brandi did based on her response which was something like "I can dish it and if given back to me then I can dish it back" (something like that where she doesn't admit to being able to take it….however I think she did say separately at one point that she could take it but then made that statement)…sorry, I am rambling. I like LisaR's exuberance and willingness to call out stuff that needs to be said, especially when others seem to be forgetting what needs to be said. I do wish she brought up the pain patch and Brandi's conversation. I fear that if Brandi stays another season, then LisaR may be her friend….I only think that because she hasn't mentioned in detail what Brandi said about Kim's sobriety/addiction. Maybe I am just paranoid. Maybe LisaR is cutting her some slack because she feels guilt about some mean tweet/text. I know it is wrong, but I kind of like how LisaR is willing to get in the gutter or play dirty (that is what the preview seemed to hint at) with a villain like Brandi and Kim. I know it isn't the best way to handle the situation but when done against a villain a part of me gets off on it even though I logically know it is wrong. Taking someone else's prescription medications is illegal! Even if they gave it to you. Kyle and LisaV's giggling together in response to Brandi's comment about Kyle wanting to sell Lisa's house was THE BEST response. It was honest laughter at how ridiculous the comment was and it wasn't yelling or crying or insulting. Even better, it totally pissed off Brandi more than yelling and exchanging insults would have done. That's how you handle Brandi yet don't sink to low blows. I don't think they intentionally did it and it was genuine laughter at Brandi's stupid remark I loved Eileen and how she calmly and logically shut down Brandi. I have to admit to liking the shade and reads done by the Atlanta women. The BH women could learn a thing or two from them but I don't want them physically fighting. I wonder what the regular viewers think---pro or anti-brandi/kim. Andy played spin doctor for them but the other women called them out on their lies and hypocrisy. I hope the viewers (not the informed forum readers but the other viewers) don't see it as a gang up with Brandi and Kim as the victims. I don't think they will but I'm not sure. -

someone mentioned pain pills not being needed for pneumonia…true with pneumonia you want to cough up the phlegm and you should NOT take narcotics (prescription pain killers) which can suppress respirations. kim should of stuck with the hernia and broken rib excuse I was ill for 3 weeks in November with pneumonia (collapsed right middle lobe) and after 3 weeks of doing so little I was very physically deconditioned for months and had a productive cough for over 4 weeks. Once the cough becomes "dry" then sometimes codeine cough syrups are given to suppress a dry cough so one may get some sleep. -

Vicky8675309 replied to Tara Ariano's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
I'm only 1/2 way through the comments and so many great points have already been made. I have say I was ecstatic when Kim was called out on her BEHAVIOR and how she deflected about them talking about it when really it was her behavior (higher than a kite) that was key (and caught on film). I loved the editors showing clips that contradicted Kim and Brandi's lies. Andy SUCKS! bronchitis, pneumonia? What about the hernia and broken rib….LOL! 5, 7,9, 8 days in the hospital…LOL I wish someone had brought up the PAIN PATCH (fentanyl?….I seriously doubt it was a lidocaine patch). Maybe they did bring up Brandi's conversation with LisaR in more detail but it was edited out for some reason? The other women have no reason to protect Brandi and her insidious comments implying Kim was suicidal and her addiction/relapse was worse than anyone thought. I would of totally brought but Brandi talking about Kim's use of pain patches and how Brandi was the reason everyone was talking about it. Brandi can dish it but can't take it (and can't understand that comment) Mark this day in your calendar--> Kim apologized! It was insincere and Andy kind of made her say it but it is still a first! I wished Kyle would of told Kim that both Kim and Kathy (if Kim wasn't lying about what Kathy said) can fuck off! I doubt LisaR tweeted anything worse than I have thought about Kim…like--I wonder if you will feel the same way about Kingsley after he eats your face when you are passed out drunk or semi-comatose from pills…but you probably wouldn't mind since you would get pain meds and would likely poison to death a young pretty woman to be able to wear her face. I'm not serious about that thought but it did pop into my mind (I guess I am pretty twisted). I love Kyle but she needs to find her inner mean girl and let it loose on Kim (and Brandi). Obviously it's complicated but I hope she cuts Kim out of her life for good. -

The episode seemed to speed by rapidly. Excellent stuff and next week looks great. Man, Kim and Brandi were horrible! Looks like they continue to be horrible next week based on the previews. Andy is driving me nuts by bringing Brandi into conversations and asking her opinion. Also he helps her explain her views (kind of like he is her spin doctor) but a couple times he didn't….I wish he stuck with that method rather than helping her out so frequently. Off to read the comments. -

Pettifleur implies she is using the word "bitch" in a good (empowering?) way but how is the word "bitch" good. Gina used the word c*nt as an insult which it is and it was deserved at the time. I want to like Pettifleur since she got tearful over the poor people and she makes her own money (loved that she buys her own stuff and doesn't "ask" a man). However she annoys me and I am not sure why. I think it is because she is trying to get on the popular side but I don't blame her since her and Gina clash…but the fact she wants to hang with FAKE Jackie or whatever the shine shine couture "rock star" wife's name is (charlatan and inappropriate use of couture and just fake fake fake) and with stupid Lydia (she can't really be that dumb can she) reinforces me not really liking her overall (like some stuff of her but not much). I think Gina doesn't care about anyone except Chyka and Gamble and I don't blame her after last season. Gina is right about Pettifleur having a strong accent but I don't have issues with people having accents….however Petti shouldn't pretend she doesn't have an accent. I never heard Gina comment of Petti's race or skin tone (hell, Gina is darker…not that dark matters). I still like Chyka even though she does subtle shit-stirring (perfect). Gamble isn't anyone I would want to be but I like her so far. I think Gina is bitter from last season and just doesn't give a f*ck anymore…not sure. I still like Gina but she seems to unhappy and I kind of don't blame her. I have mixed feelings about the older blonde (Jackie…no, wait that is the psychic name…forgot) who is the biggest shit-stirrer. I'm probably the only one who thinks this but she looks good most of the time and I think her plastic surgeon did well. Hmm, I think her name is Janet…lol. -
S26.E05: Get in That Lederhosen, Baby (Bavaria)
Vicky8675309 replied to Tara Ariano's topic in The Amazing Race
IIRC he has apologized (unnecessarily imo) to her and used active listening to communicated (I think this episode or the last one). He calmly asked her how she wanted to handle it and then repeated back what she said and then agreed to it. It was even more than that…they had a good back and forth discussion about what she wanted and he verified her wants (showed he respected her decision, would do it and did it). They have discussed their communication and different methods/options. She doesn't always stick to her decisions and then yells at him. He can't control her reactions and I don't think she has the skill to change how she reacts. She reacts to various situations and various methods of communication all the same. Even when it is going her way she is still annoying. By this time I think he is doing the only option he can (to minimize her outbursts and more importantly to keep his sanity and temper) which is do what she wants and tune her out when she started verbally abusing him. He was patient at the beer hall and tried helping her. I don't see how he was being an ass there even though she was annoying (her captain obvious comment when he was just trying to help and he shut up faster than most when he saw she was misinterpreting his help). I would of tuned her out once she started the ditzy act at the onset of the race…then just tuned her in as needed. LOL at all the make up, blow dryer, curling iron, straightener she is lugging around. The first night (1st pit stop) he tracked down two leather pillows for her but she turned her nose up at them and said they were dirty. He went out of his way to try to do something sweet and she was her usual horrible self. At least at one of the mats with Phil, when asked who they found the most attractive, she said Blair and he was a gentleman and said her. I suspect he lied since her personality makes her ugly. I'm really disappointed at how snarky she was with his singing and you could see she wanted to tell him how he was doing it wrong at the singing task. I'm so glad he got it on the first attempt so he didn't have to listen to her ranting at him and just had to hear her say he was "lucky" (what a b*tch). I find Blair to be a nice guy and a gentleman. He is very patient with her. I thought he would be a douche based on his intro where he said something about woman not living up to his standards but I have been pleasantly surprised by him. -
Blair completed the singing task on the first attempt. However, while Blair was doing the task she seemed to be bursting to tell him how he was doing it wrong and how to do it correctly. Then she threw some shade by claiming he was lucky. Hayley has surpassed Rachel in the annoying category.

Thanks Peachmangosteen for the info on how to access the live feeds! Much appreciated! I watched about an hour of them before bed~happy the feeds worked. I just finished getting caught up on the show and was sure Sindy would go. That was a great moment when Kevin overhead the girls. I'm all for girl power but that was stupid of them not to check out the bathroom. Sindy will likely beat the cougar in any competition that is athletic. I wonder who the next three will be. Regardless Sindy has a good chance to get back in the game imo but even if she gets back in she would most likely be out again (at least that is usually what happens in BB and she is a competition threat--endurance, strength, etc). IMO, she killed her BB game by showing that she was good at competitions and letting her game be exposed. Oh well, she wasn't a favorite of mine. I'm pissed the feeds are down until after sunday's show! The only days off work that I have are saturday and sunday and I wanted to check out more of the live feeds. Anyone have favorites or housemates they dislike (other than Graig who is an obvious choice, imo, for dislike)? Zach is the quarterback, right? He is the biggest threat both physically and socially. He is also in several alliances IIRC. I'm surprised others are targeting him. He is one that will have to be back doored later in the game.
