  1. I completely agree. I told my husband that we were NOT going to do this as I found it disgusting. He was like, "aw man!" I stood my ground. I hate to see people do that.
  2. I also noticed Kody said, "she's the last"
  3. Ahmir is indeed downright creepy. I don't see the appeal at all. I honestly couldn't finish watching this episode as it was super cringeworthy. She was so over the top. If this was TLC generated and encouraged, then it was extremely exploitative.
  4. I always get a charge out of the unrealistic storylines. For residents and interns, they have an awful lot of free time and leeway to do whatever they want when they are working. Honestly, I miss shows like ER, where stories didn't always end well and showed how insanely busy and chaotic medicine can be.
  5. I thought that as well. Jazz really should have gone into a skilled nursing facility or something similar. A hotel room? Eww?!
  6. I haven't been watching the show except for this. The love Bill's dad has for his grandson is very sweet. Bill's mom and stepdad may have chosen to remain in the background but they do seem very nice.
  7. Regarding the Five Wives, I think there were several reasons why they were canceled. While you'd think it's great for drama, the constant infighting between the wives was just too much even for TLC. None of those women were happy, good lord. Always either on the verge of tears or flat out BAWLING and screaming. Not exactly a good selling point for polygamy.
  8. "I deserve it because I was only able to have ONE child where I should have been many more!!!"
  9. I was thinking the same thing. That would be a definite violation of HIPAA.
  10. I would imagine part of the reason the Drummond family home schools their kids is for the flexibility it provides. The kids couldn't help on the ranch if they attended regular school. Home schooling done right allows kids to reach for the stars without being held back, waiting for the other students to "get it". It appears this is the case for the Drummonds. They can afford to hire outside teachers, so good for them.
  11. Spaghetti and meatballs outside in cool weather with a baby and a toddler... Not Ina's shining moment.
  12. If you have closed captioning on your TV (and all of you should), turn it on when watching the show. It is invaluable - will definitely help you follow the dialog.
  13. I recall his attitude when the boat was icing over. Both his crew and the camera crew kept telling him the boat was listing and Eliot kept denying it. The chase boat also noted it. Eliot should have lost his license for that alone. Complete disregard for the safety of his crew.
