The laugh track/live audience/whatever was obnoxiously loud! And the intro where they over-explained everything to the audience was even more obnoxious. The writing was still funny, but they all seemed to be overacting. Too extra. Will still watch though, heh.

I didn't expect to, but I really liked it. Very Wonder Years-esque. To me the standout was the mom - brilliant casting getting Laurie's daughter.

I really liked the girl playing Missy - she's a cutie. I didn't care as much for the father and brother. Laurie Metcalf's daughter was amazing. Totally nailed it.

The new season is about to start, right? I'm guessing they must show Kylie telling the fam on camera and this is the tease for the new season. They've only been together like 5 months. Let's see if they're still together when that baby is 5 months.

This show is so boring. Thank God next week is the finale. It could have been a 2-hour special leading into VPR this season or something.

I just got a new car that came with a SiriusXM trial subscription so off and on for the last month I've been listening to Radio Andy. It's terrible. Literal garbage. The rare times Andy is actually on, he takes callers and they always start off the same way @DrivingSideways. "OMG! I can't believe I'm talking to you!" "You're so awesome and funny!" "I just love you so much!!" They sound so cringey and Andy laps it up.

Yeah, I agree. It's probably from being in a comfortable relationship and a big change in scenery and lifestyle.

Jax saying Brittany lost her spark is his veiled way of saying he thinks she gained weight and got lazy. If you've seen recent pics you can tell they've both lost weight and look a lot better so word obviously got around Kentucky about what Jax was saying.

Eh, she just seems like a hanger-on, like her job is Kylie's best friend. I know they've been friends for awhile and she is supposedly a model, but it rubbed me the wrong way that she went to the prom with Kylie (she wasn't the only one - her hairstylist had to come too?). I agree she looks very un-plastic, which is refreshing. It must suck if you're friends with someone before they get really famous because it seems exhausting to be friends with Kylie.

Seeing those old videos and flashbacks is really sad. Kylie doesn't even look like the same person - she looks like a plastic doll now - so much like Kim. She used to be so cute. I'm not really here for her "woe is me" sob story. And why was her best friend at the prom too? I got a weird vibe from her.

I so rarely see movies, but I went to see this one tonight with friends. I loved it! It was so sweet and funny.

Captain Sandy is badass. After that first episode I was sure I'd dislike her. But she mentors and teaches the deckhands, issued orders and said they weren't up for discussion, and blew off Adam when he asked if Hannah told her about his appearance. And she reminded Hannah she doesn't have much moral high ground complaining about Adam. She's the shit.

OMG, my friend and I are obsessed with pickleball! We played it in gym class growing up up north and there seems to be quite the thriving community of players in NC. Most people that grew up around here have never heard of it! I randomly tuned into this episode - these people suck.

It's been renewed for 2 more seasons - through season 7.

Hello fellow NC people. I'm in Raleigh too. I really liked Naomie last season, but she's bugging me this year. I'm imagining her in grad school, working on MBA team projects and totally controlling everything and whining if she doesn't get to be leader of the project. She seems like she'd be a nightmare to have on a team.

This is a great idea and I would love to see that.

I was wondering if anyone else was even watching Abbey! They shuttled it off to airing at midnight, so yeah, the ratings must be awful. It is the poor, poor, poor man's VPR.

I just saw Takis in the gas station for the first time today. Or maybe they've been there and I just never noticed. There seem to be a lot of flavors, but they all looked spicy. I love flaming hot Cheetos too so I decided to stick with those. Cheetos sure got a lot of advertising out of this episode and the one before it!
