  1. I think that Enzo said yesterday at some point that he might smoke a cigarette when the backyard opened. lol Whether he actually does is anyone's guess.
  2. No one is blaming them. I've been wanting them to get outside because I've seen how it's been taking its toll on some of them to not be able to get into the backyard. But it was funny to see them scamper out en masse when it opened like they have been literal hostages. I just chuckled at it! lol
  3. The backyard is open and they are excited! They all ran outside like they had been trapped in a car trunk for several days.
  4. Dani told Cody that she thinks Christmas is so nice, but that she talks so much and it's a lot. Cody said Christmas is a wild card because of her personality. Dani doesn't think Christmas would nominate her or vote her out because she is a mom.
  5. Memphis is bundled up in his blanket in the kitchen like he's stuck on a frozen tundra. The camera caught him picking his nose. And then he let out a big sneeze.
  6. The simple answer is that we have to wear them anywhere where other people are going to be -- outside, inside, on public transportation, in malls, wherever. If we're standing alone in the middle of a forest with no one around, then I'm sure we don't have to wear them. Everywhere else... we have to wear them. You may have seen the recent video footage of some ranting, ridiculous fool (here in California) in a grocery store, throwing a tantrum and cursing because she was told to wear a mask and she refused. She had to leave the store. You don't have to wear masks in your own car, or in your own house. You can get away with not wearing them if you are working out/exercising outdoors with no one around. I was walking down my street without my mask on, and neighbors glared at me! I had the mask with me, but I was on the opposite side of the street from where they were so I thought I was OK. Apparently they didn't think so. lol
  7. I wouldn't doubt it. I've lost track of which states are enforcing which pandemic-related things, but I would not be surprised if masks are required in more states now than they were a couple of months ago, since the COVID numbers keep spiking in random places.
  8. Then Cody had better get out of California as soon as he is free from this show, because wearing a mask is required here now. We can be fined for not wearing them. No one likes to wear them, but we have to.
  9. Enzo is really starting to feel the effects of not being able to access the backyard. He mentioned 10 people being in the kitchen. I think he just needs a bit of space and some fresh air. He, Memphis and Kaysar are about to snap without being able to go outside. That's one of the reasons I could never be on a show like this. I like to be quiet and alone, without having to talk and be social every five seconds. I like being able to use the bathroom and kitchen whenever I want, without waiting for anyone else to finish up. I like being able to take a nap when I want or do things I want without all of these other people in the way. If I want to wake up late or go to sleep early, I want to do it without being told not to. If I want to go outside or stay inside, I want to do so without being told I can't. I could never handle being in a house with all of these people, with no real place to escape for a while. There is too much noise and commotion.
  10. I cannot agree with this enough. She was horrible. I am so glad she has not come back. She was really hateful, when it usually wasn't warranted to be that hateful. She had an undying loyalty to Paul, and an irrational hatred towards Kevin. lol
  11. Christmas said to Tyler that Enzo reminds her of Kevin from her season. Tyler said he kind of hoped that Kevin would be there with them this season. He liked Kevin. I love how Christmas is telling Tyler how much she loved Kevin, and how Kevin was her "house husband" and best friend in the house, and how great he is, etc. Meanwhile... one of the reasons I ended up disliking Christmas so much by the end of her season was because she became excessively, irrationally, mean about Kevin when she was talking to Paul and Josh. Alex's obsession with hating and bashing Kevin (and implying things that were really unfounded and out of line) rubbed off on Christmas, and Christmas was really vile in her comments about him near the end of the game. But now, of course, Christmas talks about how Kevin was her best friend and house husband. She neglects to mention how she talked about him in her season. Selective memory.
  12. What's funny is that Kaysar was about to eat a Twix last night -- and Janelle was going to join him in eating one -- simply because he said he was going to get back to working out today, so it would be okay. I lost track of whether he got the Twix last night, but still... he is eating a Twix today when he said he was going to work out! lol Maybe he thought "Oh well. I missed working out with Christmas, so I might as well eat a Twix!" But yes... 2020 is a year that necessitates eating Twix and other junky snacks, and lots of lolling around in bed.
  13. Tyler (after listening to Christmas explain something, with some foot talk thrown in): "I love listening to your stories. I get into them." Kaysar agreed and said it's like Charades. lol Both Tyler and Kaysar want to be included in the daily workouts with Christmas, and Kaysar is disappointed that he missed the one today. She told him to ask her when she is doing it. He didn't know there are different rounds in her 'class.' At first I thought that Tyler missed working out with Christmas too, but I'm not sure if he did. I have a feeling Tyler will eventually get sick of her stories.
  14. When Love on Harbor Island first appeared on Hallmark's schedule, it was set to air in the summer. That could have just been to fill a void in case they didn't have anything else ready to premiere during the summer. If they'd had a lot of other new Summer Nights movies ready to air, maybe they would have held onto this one until Fall Harvest. The two previous titles of this movie did not indicate anything fall-related. It was filmed in the fall last year, so that probably helped in terms of it seeming more fall-ish, but it seems like fall was not supposed to be the focus. At the time it was filmed it wasn't officially a Hallmark movie yet (though I think it was expected they'd pick it up), so I wonder if the 'fall look' of the movie would have been different in some way if it had been Hallmark's production from the beginning. Some of Hallmark's fall movies are exploding with fall decor in the indoor scenes, but the actual, real foliage and trees in the background of outdoor scenes are green, as you said. If I am remembering correctly, I think that Love, Fall & Order (from last year) showed fall decorations inside a courtroom, which was hilarious.
  15. A few days ago Enzo said he didn't even want to drink alcohol while he is in the house this time around. And now he is begging for alcohol -- "half a beer... anything!" Meanwhile, Kaysar needs melatonin and was just informed that he has to write it on a list to be approved by Production. Enzo thought that Production was going to give them weed this year because it's legal out here in L.A.
  16. For some reason Janelle seems to think that it would be better to get rid of David and partner up with Tyler and Cody. Little does she know that Tyler and Cody (and Enzo) will get rid of her (and Kaysar) at the drop of a hat. They will do their best to split Janelle and Kaysar up. The guys already don't trust Kaysar. And... right on cue, the feeds are cut again.
  17. I just laughed out loud because Kaysar accidentally referred to Keesha as "Sheila." After Cody saying "Who?" when someone mentioned Keesha's name pre-nominations, and Kaysar calling her Sheila, it seems that Keesha is not making a huge impression on some folks. Arrrgggghhhhh.... this person cutting the feeds at random is so frustrating. The HGs are literally just talking about the kinds of cake they like, and someone requested a carrot cake for their birthday, and the fool cut the feeds.
  18. Kaysar is getting cabin fever. He -- much like Enzo -- is chomping at the bit to get outside. He is worried that the games Production just gave them to play are a sign that they will be stuck inside the house for a long time. He says he understands Production wants them under pressure, but it's not good for their mental health. He wonders if they want a house full of depressed people. Bay said she doesn't know if Production wants a house full of depressed people, but that's what they're going to get if they can't go outside (in her season the HGs had access to the backyard about 4 days a week), Kaysar said he will complain if they can't go outside. Kaysar is going to go crazy and eat a Twix, even though it's a gateway to other bad foods. Janelle wants a Twix too. Bay wants to avoid eating Twix.
  19. For a split second, Dani was starting to complain to Nicole F. about something that someone was wearing as "street clothes," and she said that they would never be allowed to do that. Of course, before I could figure out who she was referring to, the overzealous fool controlling the feeds cut away. Janelle wants to get rid of David and work with Tyler and Cody. Kaysar is open to it.
  20. It sounds like it was a comp involving fruits and vegetables? Enzo had a moment with a banana. lol Enzo did say that he would win at least one of the comps this year because he's in better shape than he was in his first season, and he did. So if he wins nothing else this season, he at least won that one.
  21. Will they finally be able to have access to the backyard and pool after this comp is over, and after the crew has taken idown whatever they set up for the Veto comp tonight? I know they've been eager to get outside to work out and get some fresh air, but it also provides some extra places for groups to branch off and conspire, plot & scheme, talk game, etc.
  22. That's exactly what I was wondering! What on earth is in this slop they have been given (that is different from previous years' slop)? Ian said he threw up after a protein shake too. But I don't recall a previous season where people were getting sick from the slop quite like this. The nausea can't be blamed on being in the sun or hot weather because they haven't been outside. If anything, they've said it's too cold inside the house so they might be bothered by that. Tyler is talking about Angela's food and cooking again.
  23. I've lost count of how many times she has brought it up since the feeds started 3 nights ago, and I'm sure she has brought it up at times when I wasn't watching as well. Those sneaky BB editors had better be capturing all of these moments for a montage later on!
  24. What is in this year's batch of slop that is different from other years? Are they putting too much protein in it? Did someone poison it? It seems to be hitting people really hard. I don't remember anyone complaining as much about being sick from slop in previous seasons.
  25. I posted photos from it here in this thread (see above) on July 22nd, but it seems to have wrapped a tad sooner than I thought it would. I guess it had already begun production a couple of days before I posted, so they had already made some progress. Or maybe the year is just zooming by at a faster pace than it seems like it should be mid-pandemic! lol
