  1. SO glad it's back, even for just 6 episodes. I also binged season 3 over the weekend to refresh my memory of where everybody left off. They only went a few months into the future, but it seemed like a LOT got packed in. Cassie & John are back on and her dad is living with Jenny. Did the math come out to be 3 months since Cassie walked or 6 months? And we know she needs 3 more months for her 30 years. I love her, but I just wanted to scream at her "It's only 90 days! Sit at a damn desk, play on your cell phone and get your full retirement, you git!" *LOL* Seemed like everybody but Sunny was in a very bad mood!
  2. I was fine with the explanation of how "Mastermind" got the stories. As they said in the beginning, there were a lot of mistakes in the stories, but they did expose the actual clients, the money side and their situations enough to identify them. Definitely things a bean-counter would have to know. And of course Mastermind turns out to be everybody's fave goofball, Joey Slotnick. *LOL* Very nice casting there. I loved how Eliot had to show off his non-hitter powers of seduction over the ex-wife. Very cute. CK is still awesome. Now, if they would just continue the 8-episode series each year, they could change cities and have new lairs. Next they could go do a season in Seattle, then Charleston, then Chicago, etc. That way the location doesn't get dull, they coud get plenty of local color and they don't have to travel too far afield. *sigh* Never happen, but I loved the whole return with Harry & Breanna.
  3. This episode was directed by Noah Wyle. Cool. I like when the frontside talent knows about the behind-the-camera stuff too. The clothes are as integral part of their characters as the accents and mannerisms. I LOVE commenting on the clothes, and do a lot! *LOL* Nothing shallow about it!
  4. I kept wanting to yell "Huzzah!" like Sophie! *LOL* Best line, by Parker regarding Cordozar: "He looks like if a weasel and a snake had a baby then they dipped it in slime". I am SO going to use that one! I will say that Eliot in a blow-up dragon ring definitely made me giggle. Then he realized who the other jousters were and it was dragon's off! All hail, Glen the Savage! Awwww, Breanna really nailed that ending speech. Even made me tear up a littlle.
  5. Definitely a fun one, and I didn't really miss the guys. My favorite was Parker's giant skeletal hand, and when she was counting things off on the fingers....too hilarious! I knew they were going to have to have an episode with hauntings and supernatural stuff, but I expected one with more of a Voodoo focus and a little more Creole creepiness. But I still loved it!
  6. Eliot has definitely come a long way in opening up to the crew. It's nice to see the trust, and I was also glad when Sophie said "Time to earn your way back, Mr. Wilson" and sent him after Jason after he had his melt down. And they're doing great with Noah/Harry's wardrobe. Those light colored suits and lace-up buck shoes they have him in are still the classics you see all over Louisiana. I also like how they're keeping Breanna's clothes very gender neutral and casual. I'm really enjoying all the aspects of her character, and the actress is great. I can imagine her growing up with Hardison.
  7. It's a cool technique to make scrap yarn baskets too. You take long lengths of leftover yarn, drag the lengths through a mixture of thinned-down white glue, then wrap them randomly around just half of the balloon. Once it's dry and you remove the balloon, you turn it upside down & use additional yarn strands to coil around the bottom for the flat base. I'm sure there's plenty off YouTube videos out there about string crafts.
  8. Melanio just reminds me SO much of actor Nico Santos, who played Mateo on "Superstore". I simply CANNOT unsee him. https://www.imdb.com/name/nm4456672/ I did love his train closet. Beautifully appointed and everything functional and made sense in the space. I thought it was the clear winner. And it was definitely Kaviya's time to go. She was just too unfocused and had no clear perspective other than "Colorful", "Fun", "Patterns". That's not a style. And as the iconic Nina Garcia would purr...."I question your taste level".
  9. Agreed. Even in the evening, in the high roller room of a Casino boat, the guys are going to be wearing Columbia fishing shirts, cargo shorts & Top Siders, because they came right off their own boats. Their much younger, 2nd trophy wives will still have on their bikini's with a cover-up and spike heeled sandals, and the usual 4-carat diamond solitaire on their bony, tanned ring finger. The old ladies at the slot machines are never wearing sequins. And they are usually only daytime gamblers, because they don't drive after dark.... (Yes, I live on the Gulf Coast, very near N.O. and dozens of Casinos!) Meant to mention the PERFECT touch near the beginning of Sophie carrying a Styrofoam Daiquiri go-cup in the scene where she & Harry played spouses checking out the house address. Absolute New Orleans realism there. The only thing better would have been a "Big Ass Beer" cup. *LOL*
  10. I thought Parker was dead-on as the privileged Southern Belle....Just enough condescension and insult, but covered in honey & magnolia. The only thing she missed was saying to Chaudry "Well, bless your heart"..... I'm really not missing Nate, as his last seasons were so focused on his drinking and downward spiral that I didn't feel he added much. Though I do think he always did the very best declaration "So let's go steal a _________". And I did love when Eliot commented to Sophie that she had to immediately walk off after her stating that....*LOL*
  11. Harry/Noah is feeling more like his ER Dr. John Carter character, whom I've always adored. Seriousness with a little goofy in there. A good sense of humor, but never quite getting when HE is the joke. I like what they're doing with him. Breanna is cute and will obviously be the "pupil" this season, so we can get more of a tutorial on how they plan & execute the jobs. Reed Diamond is such a sleaze, but in such a smooth & entertaining way. I always love to see him as the d!ckweed!
  12. So they just give the truck and equipment to a random dude to test out instead of sending REAL firefighters or inspectors? No offense, but that isn't even remotely possible or plausible. Licensed professionals are used, not Duggars. Lives depend on the equipment functioning. None of them are trained for that and no city or municipality would just lend out their working rigs for entertainment. Yes, some versions of the trucks are used for parades, fundraisers, parties, etc. But not the real equipment that's used for legitimate emergencies. The entertainment vehicles have most of the functions disabled before being taken into pubic for displays.
  13. AHHHHH!!! 11:43 seconds for Eliot to give us the first "Damnit, Hardison!"..... *ROFL* I am so gad the crew is back together. Aldis looks SO buff and handsome! Geeks may rule, but he sure grew out of his geeky hacker phase. And I still love how Parker can just magically morph into whatever generic cute gal is needed for the con.
  14. Yeah, my point was so NOT about the actual truck. It was about a wanton disregard for environmental resources, in order to show off for some bored people who have no more responsible or thoughtful way to celebrate a small child's birthday. Obviously they've never heard of, or experienced being anywhere that water rationing is required. Maybe they DID get permission. Because everyone knows how diligent these folks are about following rules and making intelligent decisions.
  15. So using emergency public utilities is A-OK in Arkansas to entertain 2 kids? Nice to know. I'm sure their local resource conservation association just loves seeing that kind of thing. Probably encouraging everybody to use up as much of that water as possible!
  16. What toddlers eat depends on the weather, their mood, how long they slept, how they feel about the color brown that day, how tight their underwear is, what mom is eating, if there are cartoons playing, if the plate is the wrong color, if they can count to four, etc, etc, etc..... And that's just for ONE day. The rules change every day. EVERY.DAY.
  17. I just love how much insight into his true and authentic self Deertick is giving his potential employers. Tons of social media proof of the prominent lying, backstabbing, family disloyalty, God-bothering, scamming, science discounting, threatening extortion, grifting, child endangering and so many other goodies he's displayed over the years. It's all out there. True and authentic, a job well done!
  18. I thought the general consensus was that these feral kids have no actual bedtime. I do love the bare feet and the group positioning where they can all pray to the great Chick-Fil-A god under the fireworks. Magical. Never stop being you, Jessa. But she may want to tell her sperm donor that HE is not eating for 2. He's getting pudgy.
  19. 5 days to watch all of the last season. Yep, I can do that! SO excited to see them again!
  20. I do too. The first thing I thought about the "Spice Library" was, ok where would it be kept, and away from dampness, bugs, etc. How would people "borrow" the amount they needed for a recipe? Would the cabinet also stock little vials and teaspoons that the spices could be transported in? Who would keep it refilled and tidy? I know, the practicality isn't the point, the creativity is. But I can get carried away with the details.....*LOL*
  21. For the same reason people support Chick Fil A while knowing their foundation STILL supports charities in countries that have criminalized homosexuality. People draw their own lines of what they will and will not tolerate in their lives and where they will spend their money. It's a very personal decision.
  22. Annai was an idiot. And definitely deserved to go home. Matt & Abe lucked out. I can't stand Mary Jayne. She is just so extra in every annoying way. Black garlic cake Matt has incredibly scary eyes. Seriously freaky. WTH is up with Tay? Why does he keep trying to sound like Chris Rock? But I LOVE pineapple upside down cake, so he's ok with me for now. I do NOT believe that Lexy had NEVER made that cake before. Liar! And it was NOT molten, just soft in the middle. Judges, you are liars too! The only contestant I like at all is Burmese lady.
  23. I thought that was a good interview. She was able to counter almost every negative with a positive. Good job, Jinger. And obviously, PEOPLE Magazine is still interested in the Vuolos. We'll see if any of the other couples get as much coverage.
  24. I never said it was ok. I said it was common. And I like her recipes.
  25. Not true. I wrote this back in March and still think it's true.....
