MSNBC: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (Vaulted)

Meet the Press's Chuck Todd is such toad. He might not be as pretty as David Gregory was, but he's still a waste or air time. -
One of the best albums from beginning to end I have ever heard. Ranks right up there with Pink Floyd Animals IMHO. This album contains their one and only top-something hit, Kayleigh.

Loved, loved, loved seeing tRump put his foot in it with Chris Matthews re: women have to be punished if they get abortions. Morning Joe is using this as their first segment. Wow. I love the smell of misogyny first thing in the morning. -

And now the panel is trying everything they possibly can to dismiss all things Bernie. Many curse words follow here. -

I wanted to throw things at my computer screen during Rachel's town hall with Hillary, but I am enjoying every second of Rachel's town hall with Bernie. -

Feeling sorry for Joe this morning. He's so annoyed that all people seem to want to talk about is Trump's campaign manager being charged with misdemeanor assault of a female reporter down in Florida and how Trump denied it happened and said the woman was lying. Joe just can't believe they're 11 minutes into the second hour of the show and still talking about how Trump lied. Poor Joe. -
S01.E09: Manna From Heaven

I think it would've made all the difference in the world. For one thing, the prosecution wouldn't be walking in there thinking they had a slam dunk case because of their quote/unquote physical evidence. There's no way Marcia Clark lets five African American women onto that jury thinking they're women, they'll relate to Nicole rather than think that Nicole was a gold-digger who deserved what she got. No Furhman, so it makes the race card that much harder for the defense to play. There's no way Darden falls for the glove trap again. On and on and on, a mistrial really would've been the manna from heaven, only for Darden and Clark. -
And Alexis has three different kids by three different men, Sam with Julian, Kristina with Sonny, and Molly with Ric. So the fuck what, Show? Stop with the slut shaming already!

I actually cadged that photo from their web site. They do a great job of showcasing their kitties. https://multcopets.org/adoptable/cats

I loved how matter of fact Fiona was at the end. She so has Sherlock's number. I had missed her and was very glad to see her back on the show.

I visited the local animal shelter today, donated the leftovers of Peanut's food stash. One of their dedicated, fantastic volunteers tried to talk me into adopting this beautiful 13-year-old girl. I just couldn't. I hope that someone does. Charlotte gave me several minutes of just the most fantastic kitty love. I really needed that.

I got to see Bernie's speech from beginning to end, too. And, yes, I'm in Portland and Rachel's show ended mid-sentence here, too. I'm going to have to go and find another replay somewhere. Rachel had been talking about something all show that actually "made me mad." I want to know what that was. -

Almost ready to forgive MSNBC for their up-to-now-near-total-blackout of Bernie. MSNBC is playing Bernie's speech at Safeco Field in Seattle in full right now, Friday night, 8:30 PST. Squeeee. I've never heard his whole stump speech before. Waiting for Rachel's replay so I can see her reaction to Bernie and Portland and the little bird. Squeeee. Wow, I really am having a happy Friday. -

That pool segment with Lindsay Graham was fun. I had no idea Senator Graham was a pool shark. -

Chris Matthews was at it in spades last night regarding Hillary and foreign policy, talking to his roundtable of parrots about how Hillary is "ready to rumble" and it's not that Bernie's not intelligent or anything, but the implication is, of course, insert your own stereotype of Bernie as another effete, limp-wristed, anti-war Northeastern liiibbruull. Fuck you, Tweety. -
Ratings and Scheduling: Still More Numbers to Decipher

It's all about the money. CBS doesn't own PoI (Bad Robot/JJ Abrams does) the way it owns Blue Bloods, so CBS doesn't stand to make millions of dollars off of any broadcast syndication rights deals like one they did with ION and WGN for Blue Bloods. -
There are days when watching GH has been such a chore that I haven't been able to make myself do it. Having missed some eps, so sorry for the stupid question, but did they ever actually air the CarSon "Sonny can walk again" sex scene? I mean, when S/C met on the pier when Carly was throwing the guns into the water, Sonny stepped into her like telegraphing it, hey, baby, I can, ahem, make love to you again, but was that it? I mean, I've read the complaints about Carly and shirtless Dr. Griffin Munro and now I'm seeing the came kind of complaints about Carly and Dr. Michael Easton, so I'm just wondering did my girl's husband actually take care of her in that department? Thanks in advance. The stuff you guys write -- the rabid raccoons carnage -- is so much funnier than the ep about the shirtless women in court that was intended to be funny and fell flatter than a AAA cup.

$25K-a-month might seem like a lot to me, but it's a pittance compared to the way he was accustomed to living. He couldn't have the life he used to have where he was welcome to play a foursome on any golf course he wanted. I'm sorry, I know I'm trying to psychoanalyze from a distance and wording it poorly. It might not have bubbled up and been a conscious thought, but it's just what I see when I look at him now. -

Hillary had been on Rachel's show twice before Bernie got the chance to be on again, this by Rachel's own accounting. And the Last Word muted Bernie -- which I thought was insulting and obscene -- and then let the talking heads spew their talking points about how Hillary is inevitable and he should start getting ready to get out so that Hillary can start going after tRump by naming names instead of just alluding to "candidates." I have a feeling we can both come up with endless examples to buttress our own POV, so let's just agree to disagree before the "hey people, you're killing me, stop talking about politics" post shows up. ;) -

Yeah, nothing can compare to the nauseating tRump coverage -- great nickname, BTW -- but Clinton got a full matching segment of tRump covering their respective AIPAC speeches. That left a lasting impression on me. -

I was just coming in to complain about that. It was such bullshit and so frustrating. We got to hear maybe five minutes of what Bernie was actually saying, but then came the talking heads and the talking points and you had to be a lip reader to "hear" what Bernie had to say. I'm doing my damnedest to try and tolerate what MSNBC has become, but at this point I can't watch it -- except for Rachel -- is because it's become all Trump/Clinton all the time. -

I think OJ did the robbery and got caught on purpose because he didn't have the income any more to live the lifestyle to which he had become accustomed, plus he was shunned by the country club group/class/set of people who had so welcomed and loved him before he went to trial for being a double-murderer. He didn't want to be free anymore. Okay, I'll take the tinfoil off now. Regarding this episode, I was trying and failing to have sympathy for anyone up there on my screen -- not the jurors, not Marcia Clark or Chris Darden, not OJ, not the Dream Team, Ito for the Dancing Itos, none of them. -
I think I'm almost glad it only took me 20 minutes to watch today's show with all of the FF'ing I got to do -- anything Nanco, Tracy's worms. The only things I did like were Liason and JaSam. My superficial comment is the makeup department needs to lay off of the eyeliner. Some of these women were ridiculously raccoon-eyed.

The under-the-table hand-job was gross and stupid. The things I liked were the $0.10-per-day damages, the AUSA being so flustered by Alicia actually answering his questions, Alicia standing up for Grace and totally smoking that admissions official, and Luka getting that freaking office. I only starting watching the show last year. The whole concept of it just put me off, Chris Noth never did anything for me, and I couldn't stand Matt Czuchry from his days on Gilmore Girls. I had a lull in something to watch and I liked JDM from Extant, so I thought why not? Something tells me when I go back to binge-watch the earlier episodes after the show is over, I'll be kicking myself for enjoying what they're doing now.
