  1. Just to clarify, my point a while back was that people aren't invested in Brianna and Nova's story. My point was that we have watched Jace, Aubree, Isaac and the twinses grow up and so we actually "care" in a sense about what happens to them. There isn't that same interest in Nova because the viewers know nothing about her. My point was not that the show is about the kids. That ship sailed way, way, way back. Rather that we "know" the stories of the TM2 girls but we are being thrown into Brianna/Nova's story part way through. The viewers know almost nothing about Brianna and she has nothing to offer that the others don't e.g. drama with an ex, pregnancy, crying and potential custody battles.
  2. As someone with a seizure disorder, f*ck Jill for using this poor dead girl as part of her pitch for donations. This girl who (judging by that post) was only about 14, had a mother in prison and had no medication for a serious medical condition. But hey, the Dillards give her a paintbrush once a week! Sure they could have provided her with medical and psychological support but a couple of Bible verses pretty much does the same thing. When Josie has a seizure it is all sirens blazing to the hospital (as is appropriate) but when a child actually dies it is more of a case of bad luck. It was a sad moment but "praise God" that she had been missionaried before she died. The silver lining of a teenager dying of an easily managed condition. Sure her death was preventable but isn't it nice that the Dillards are there to do some interpretive dance? The idea of having a seizure disorder in a developing country, no medication and no parents petrifies me. This child needed proper help and support during her "hard life" but the Dillards floated in, handed out a couple of crayons and posted pictures to Instagram. Let the girl rest in peace rather than use her memory to scam money out of leg humpers, it is incredibly disrespectful.
  3. I watched one episode of TM3 and was bored to tears so I can't say that I know much about Brianna. That said, I 100% think it is to show the girls that there may be consequences for their anti-filming behaviour. The girls have always been comfortable in knowing that they are the TM2 girls and that the producers need them or else the show can't work. They've relied on the assumption that they are irreplaceable and so when they throw a tantrum, they think they are still safe. After all, what would TM2 be with only three girls? (In their minds at least). Now the producers are essentially saying, we have plenty of other back up options if you don't toe the line. To quote Devil Wears Prada, these girls "have the job that a million girls would kill for". These other back-ups are prepared to film, won't storm off set and may well be cheaper salary wise. I would assume that Brianna won't be sitting on the same kind of money as say, Jenelle. A ring in won't be throwing the such extreme fits like Kail or Jenelle because they are the new kid and could well be dumped. The producers are essentially saying "You don't want to film? Fine, I guess Brianna will be ok with some extra air time" and pushing the girls to compete with a newcomer for attention and time. I have no interest in watching Brianna. As far as I can tell, she is similar to Kail and Jenelle in that she gets plastic surgery, has no understanding of responsibility and is now expecting her second child and hasn't revealed who is the father. Maybe she can swap DNA tips with Kail? The only part that could be vaguely interesting is the overlap between Kail and Brianna's storylines. Usually the girls are kept somewhat seperate but I think they are hoping for extra drama by focusing on Brianna's friendship with Javi. I think that most of us couldn't really care about the moms but watch for the kids, to see how they are doing. We definitely seem more invested in some of the kids than their mothers (read: Jenelle). I know nothing about Nova besides the fact that she is 5. Watchers aren't going to be interested in learning a whole backstory about the last 5 years of Brianna's life and can probably take or leave Nova. It isn't like with the original TM2 babies who we have seen grow up through the seasons. I don't think they are going to get a particularly positive reaction to this one.
  4. The difference between Chelsea and Jenelle could not be more obvious in those sneak peaks. Chelsea is lying on the couch, taking her temperature and worrying that she might be letting them down by going home. She is nearing the point of hospitalization but she is still thinking about her obligations to film. And when she does go home, she lets them know that if (by some miracle) she feels better, she will come back. Jenelle on the other hand, chucks a fit and decides to leave because people aren't paying enough attention to her. She says that "no one is doing anything" about the fact that she feels unwell but rather than, I don't know, taking it up with someone, she storms off. Chelsea had a proper talk with the producers about what was happening, Jenelle sent a text that she was leaving. Chelsea had to be helped to the car, Jenelle seemed pretty capable of walking fast, yelling and throwing her weight around. Chelsea was worried about her obligation to the show, Jenelle said "fuck it" and left. I think we can all conclude that Chelsea won this hands down (not that it is hard when Jenelle is the competition). There is another sneak peak about "Leah's thoughts" where she throws some serious shade at Jenelle about their obligations to film. And she says the most honest line of the year "I only care about myself". Yes. Yes you do.
  5. Well when you combine terrible nutrition with constant daycare and very little parental interaction, of course the poor little chubbster is getting sick all the time. He's dumped in the corner to fend for himself, is given junk food and has a mother who couldn't be less interested if she tried. Also, if he is so sick all the time perhaps she should be spending less time on Twitter and more time making sure that the rest of her "big happy family!" doesn't get sick. Baby Endtable is still small and could probably use a bit of care right about now. This isn't to say that parents of sick kids have to be sitting next to them 24/7 but put the damn phone down and give those kids some attention. I can't think of two less equipped people to take care of a sick infant and toddler. They would be hard pressed to take care of a pet rock.
  6. 2 August 2009 - Jace is born 10 July 2010 - Jenelle signs over custody of Jace to Barb Filed to modify custody at some point in 2015 (don't have the date) 5 July 2016: postponed to 11 October 2016 11 October 2016: Hurricane Matthew - postponed until 31 January 31 January 2017: postponed til 23 May 2017 Jenelle has blamed Barb and her lawyer for this, saying that she "hasn't seen a judge since she filed in 2015". Apparently Barb is single-handedly responsible for the backlog of cases in North Carolina and a hurricane. Who knew she had that kind of talent! I know nothing about family court in New Brunswick but Jace will be only a couple of months off his 8th birthday, settled with his grandmother, going to a local school and participating in local activities. Jenelle lives 45 mins away and her version of stable is not having been arrested in the last few months. I know that they generally favor family reunification but I hope that the judge awards custody of Jace to Barb to finally give Barb and Jace some stability. Also, can I just point out that it took the stupid cow 5 years to properly file to "get Jace back"? For all her shit talking over the years, she didn't file until he was 5, nearly 6.
  7. It's been a really long time since I've posted in Small Talk! The stuff with WW really put me off, I had bought into it hook, line and sinker. I'm a fair bit younger than most people on here (I fall between Jinger and Joy age wise) and this was the first anonymous forum that I'd been on, it had been Facebook and Instagram before this. I knew that obviously there were scammers on the internet but the posts from WW were very medical and, at first, realistic. In my "people are good at heart" naivety I didn't think that someone would put so much time and effort into scamming such genuinely kind and caring people especially considering that (IIRC) she didn't get the money in the end. Anyway, that is all to say that I left the Duggars for trashier TV over at Teen Mom 2 where they don't even pretend that their relationships are working out, engage in Twitter wars and generally make me feel good about my life choices. When my mother asked me why I watch "such crap" I explain that I may skip the gym and occasionally stay up late to finish assignments but I am not unemployed, uneducated, engaged, married, pregnant, on drugs, nor do I have a criminal record. Improves my self esteem, hahaha. I've been skimming what has been going on and I just wanted to send well wishes to everyone here who is going through medical, personal or family issues. It seems that when it rains, it really really pours.
  8. I'm liking your posts but I swear it isn't because I actually like what is happening! Sending good thoughts, that sounds really like a really tough few weeks for your family.
  9. I'm getting a massive kick out of how jealous Kail must be of Vee right now. Vee has the body that Kail always wanted and eventually had surgery to get. When she was pregnant, she barely put on any weight and looked like she could still be a model while Kail gets a puffy face and looks like she is eating for 4. Vee got the little mini-me on the first try and while Kail got two boys. Vee has the snapback body that Kail could only dream of and goddamn it I want to know what she does to get her hair looking so good. Meanwhile Kail has an out of proportion, fake looking ass, greasy looking hair and ill applied make up. Not to mention that now Vee is sitting in the house that she and Jo share with their daughter while Kail is getting slammed left, right and centre for being pregnant by a third man while she refinances the house and gets into social media fights with Javi. Vee and Jo are planning their wedding while Kail is getting a divorce. This is all to say that I hope Kail doesn't take this jealousy out on the pair of them. She lashes out when she makes a mistake and over the years her favourite target has been Jo. Jo and Vee have been nothing but accommodating to Kail especially with her endless demands about "come and pick up Isaac" and listen to her bitch in their kitchen at least once a week. Kail is a soul sucking, fun crushing Dementor and I hope that she doesn't infect Jo and Vee.
  10. That picture of Jenelle in the article is enough to give me nightmares. Those overly wide eyes, staring straight into you and the smile.... She looks like a serial killer. Also, someone needs to inform Inquistr of how maths is done because several ≠ seven "According to the Teen Mom 2 star, who lost custody of her oldest son, Jace, now 7, shortly after his birth, her relationship with her mother, who has cared for the child full-time for the past several years, is extremely strained — and it is all Barbara’s fault" Let me rewrite it for them "According to the Teen Mom 2 star criminal, who lost custody voluntarily gave up custody of her oldest son, Jace, now 7, shortly after his birth because she was dick hopping and shooting up the car park, her relationship with her mother, who has cared for the child full-time for the past several years, who has cared for and loved Jace since the day he was born, more than 7 years ago,is extremely strained — and it is all Barbara’s fault"
  11. More to the point, this is the third time that we have heard that Kail rang Jo and said "come and get Isaac" (Fight With Javi Part One, Fight With Javi Part Two and when she had school). Vee and Jo are expected to drop what they are doing and rush over to Kail's or change plans quickly to pick Isaac up from school without any recognition. I'm sure both of them love having Isaac around more but they both have school and a baby and unlike Kail do not have in-laws to leave little Vivi with. Remember when Jo and Vee had to haul ass to Kail's in the rain and she rang him to complain that he wasn't there fast enough? Heaven forbid that a couple with an infant not be race car driving to get to her house! Kail expects Vee and Jo to constantly be available to take Isaac at the drop of a hat and then comes over to their house to bitch endlessly about her drama. She expects them to nod and say "Yes, Kail that must be terrible for you when your military spouse came back from deployment and wanted to speak to you about the kids and divorce" "Yes Kail, Javi is clearly an unstable maniac and we must protect Isaac from him" "Yes Kail it must have been hard in that six months when you had all your in-laws taking care of Lincoln and you left Isaac with us to go on vacation". Vee and Jo are more than entitled to their opinions and they haven't aired them in front of the kids. I hardly see what damage Vee's twenty seconds of pure, beautiful logic will have on Isaac in the long run when all his life Kail has been screeching about Jo or Javi in front of him. She has thrown absolute fits, sworn her head off and manipulated Isaac's feelings to suit her own purposes. Like I said, Vee's glorious comments hardly rank.
  12. New clip up for next week. Let's just get this straight. Nathan offers to make life easier for David and Jenelle by coming and picking Kaiser up from their place. He's not inviting himself in for tea and biscuits, he is just suggesting that they take 10 steps out the door and put Kaiser in his car. But David and Jenelle react as if he's told them that he will be moving in on Monday "He's not coming to our house!" like he might infect them with his bad fashion choices and cause David to grow a tiny little man bun. Nathan is doing them a bloody favor but naturally it is twisted into Nathan wants to invade our house! We must defend ourselves! Morons. Also, Jenelle is naturally ready to have Jace back because every time he is at her place, they are eating crap. I loved how the camera man zoomed in on Jace's pizza and red drink (cordial?). The worst part about this whole clip is when she screams at Barb. Barb makes a genuine mistake and thinks that Jenelle is asking her to drive up and Jenelle loses her mind in front of Jace. She sits there, screaming into the phone about how Barb always does this and twists her words and Jace is just sitting there. My heart just breaks for him. His little face lights up when Jenelle says that Barb called, he clearly wants to go back home (can you blame him? He just sat through another insult-Nathan-athon). And throughout the whole conversation, the camera stays on him and he just looks more and more dejected as Jenelle screams and insults his Meme. Jace clearly wants to be anywhere but with Jenelle, he keeps looking away and if he could run, he would. The look in his eyes is just heartbreaking. He looks like a kid who has seen way too much for his age. Fuck you Jenelle. Barb made an honest mistake and you fly off the handle and screech at her over the phone in front of your son. You deliberately antagonise Nathan and go out of your way to make life miserable for Barb. Fuck. You.
  13. I think that one of the things that I hate the most about Jenelle (and the list is long!) is the way that she actively encourages all her minions to insult and belittle Barb. She rewards people who write cruel things about how Barb is trying to keep Jace for herself by retweeting them and making the leghumpers all the most desperate to be the special one that she pays attention to. I would 100% believe that it is cyberbullying. On social media Jenelle is in a position of power (having over a million followers) and uses that power to stir up anti-Barb sentiment, content in the knowledge that Barb doesn't have the means to respond. Barb just has to sit there and even if she doesn't actively follow social media, she would have to be aware that plenty of people on Twitter think she is an evil baby stealing grandmother. It's a power trip for Jenelle. She knows that she will never win in court so she gets her kicks from winning in the court of social media. It doesn't matter if Jenelle actually gets Jace back or not (because we know that she couldn't really give a f*ck) but that people think she is trying. She gets self-validation and happiness from seeing other people make cruel and unfair comments about the woman raising her child. She is just a sick, twisted person. It takes a particular kind of horrible to take happiness from watching people belittle your mother.
  14. I desperately want Jo Frost to go to Leah's house. I'm picturing her standing in the sh*thole that is Leah's place, looking around doing that "look at camera" thing to show how appalled she is. Then going classic supernanny on them "What's your bedtime routine?" (Leah explains that being so *overwhelmed* it can be hard to get the girlses to bed despite only having them for half the week) "Do you have any house rules?" (Leah explains that she is so *overwhelmed* that she hasn't had "time" despite having no job and no responsibilities) "What kind of discipline do you use?" (Leah proudly demonstrates her "time out technique" and Jo says that she doesn't know where she learnt that because it sure as hell ain't hers) "There is a serious lack of routine and discipline in this household. You have three girls, it is time to step up and some responsibility" (Leah explains that she is so *overwhelmed* that she hasn't been able to be a parent because *stress* and *anxiety* but also Instagram) "What Leah doesn't realise is that children need a proper meal and that frosting/cheetos/cold soup does not make a meal" (Leah says that she throws some vegetables on the floor once a week, Momma Dawn has a heart-attack in the background)
  15. Leah just posted this on her Instagram page and hasn't tried to deny it.
  16. Sit the fuck down, Jenelle. Maybe if you had made any kind of effort in the last few years to get Jace back, this wouldn't be a problem now. You are a sociopath who wants Jace to complete the Instagram family photo and take care of your other spawn. This has nothing to do with what is best for Jace or what he wants, it is just a chance to stick it to the one person who has always been there for you (and I'll give you a hint, their name is not Andrew, Cortland, Gary, Nathan or David).
  17. Nathan may have been an arsehole but at least he ensured that Kaiser wasn't languishing in a cot screaming his head off. When Kaiser was a newborn he seemed to be spending more time with him than "I'm so tired, dude" Jenelle. God I never thought that I would see the day when I would give Nathan parenting points, especially for just keeping a baby alive.
  18. Let's have a look at the TM2 stats Number of children - Jace, Aubree, Isaac, Gracie, Ali, the Roll, Endtable, Addie, Lincoln, Watson, Baby Unknown 11 Number of men who have impregnanted one of the mothers - Andrew (Jace), Cortland (abortion), Nathan (The Roll), David (Endtable), Jo (Isaac), Javi (Lincoln) Unknown, Corey (twinses) Jeremy (Addie), Adam (Aubree) and Cole (Watson) 11 Number of failed marriages/engagements - Corey, Jeremy, Javi, Cortland (or was it Gary?), Nathan 5 Number of court cases - who fucking knows Income that these girls earn in one season - $250,000 Yep, TM2 is doing a great job of presenting mothers who have overcome the challenges of teen parenthood to become successful, functioning members of society. These girls have earned more money than some people will in their lives and all they have to show for it are failed relationships, numerous kids who are used to deadbeat parents (Aubree), endless instability (Jace), ever changing parent figures (girlses, Jace and co, Isaac and Lincoln) and very little education. You couldn't get me to trade places with any of them.
  19. Can I just point out that this comment on Kail's blog seems to summarise the entire situation- I still will continue to focus on school with my graduation in May, my brand, and my books. Let me repeat that. Kail will focus on her brand and her books. No mention of the two children who are dealing with significant upheaval in their lives and need stability now more than ever. Imagine what life is like for poor Isaac - this time last year Javi was his daddy, then Javi went away for a while but when he came back he wasn't daddy anymore and he wouldn't live with them. Then Javi and mommy are screaming and other daddy has to pick him up and now mommy is pregnant but the baby isn't related to either of his dads. That is a seriously fucked up 12 months. His life was completely turned upside down but hey, Kail wanted to check if her uterus still worked! The stupid cow couldn't even keep her story straight. She didn't want another child before but now things are soooo different. And because the "doctor" (read: internet) told her that her 24 year old body was at risk of slowly melting into a puddle of infertility, she grabbed the nearest dick to test that theory out. Never mind the two children she already has who right now need stability and a mother who puts their emotional needs before her need to be front page of Radar Online. If I was Jo or Vee, I would be livid. They followed her, moving away from their families, because she had to be with her soulmate Javi. Then she divorces Javi and gets pregnant within a few months and essentially makes a mockery of the whole thing. Now they have to pick up the pieces when Isaac is confused about why the new baby doesn't have a daddy or why mommy is angry all the time or just why his world is being tipped upside down again.
  20. Last season that particular poster argued very passionately that Chelsea should have made more of an effort to get Adam to the Father-Daughter Dance. You know, because it is her job to pre-program events into his phone and send him weekly reminders. Apparently Chelsea should have done everything short of driving Adam to the event herself. Why it was the mother's responsibility to chase the father around and force them to an event was beyond me. They also argued that since Chelsea was earning money from MTV, Adam shouldn't have to pay more than $150 a month. Because clearly long-suffering Adam hasn't been on the show just as long and hasn't also been earning nice paychecks for being an arse on camera. And that surely Adam was entitled to unsupervised visitation by now because he hasn't been arrested within the last year. I believe that Chelsea was genuinely upset about Adam not calling for Aubree's birthday. She cried last season when Aubree told her that Adam promised that she could stay with him and that you can "never, ever break a promise" (that broke my heart). We have seen her in tears thinking about how Aubree's relationship with Adam was always going to be one of disappointment and being let down especially compared to her relationship with Randy. It upsets her that Aubree won't have that kind of support with her own father which was part of the reason why she has encouraged Cole and Aubree to be close.
  21. It breaks my heart that Aubree will probably watch all this one day and realise that her dad was only ever interested because of MTV. Chelsea has mentioned before that he only turns up to events when he knows the cameras are going to be and he plans what he does with Aubree around the filming schedule. Were it not for MTV, Adumb would have pissed off years ago. I firmly believe that the only reason he acts like a dad for Aubree is because he gets paid to do it. If not, he would have run away from the "mistake" as soon as he could. His parents have Aubree every second weekend and with all his "personal training" and "competitions", she could quite easily go a month without seeing him. He isn't even bothered to show up for the small amount of time given to him and he certainly wouldn't be trying for 50/50 if MTV wasn't around. The only reason that he did is because he was sick of his "bad edit" and wanted a better image, not because of any desire to spend time with his kid. I hope that Aubree never thinks of it this way. Adam might be an arsehole but he is still her dad and she used to think the world of him although some of the shine seems to have come off now.
  22. Whenever we planned family holidays if it didn't include the words "pet friendly accommodation" then we weren't going! My mum was deadset that our gorgeous labrador is part of the family and if she wasn't going, neither was she. This is why we always rented out a house with a fence and only camped at dog friendly sites. So no judgement on the cat holidays hahaha. We were lucky enough to do a fair bit of international travel which was the obvious exception. Even then we had a family friend dog/house sit for us although I'm sure that our girl would have loved Fiji!
  23. Kail is an independent woman who don't need no man except when she wants their benefits or to dump her children on someone else. Yep, she's doing it all on her own!
  24. There were a couple of reasons that Corey couldn't use the footage. Firstly, the contract includes a note that the show may not depict the whole truth and that MTV has the right to portray things however they want. This meant that Leah could argue that the footage was manipulated for drama and even though MTV wouldn't have told her to not feed her kids or take them to school late, legally the point still stands. Secondly, there was no actual crime being committed. The reason that the Amber/Gary footage was used is because she committed a crime but having unkempt and unfed kids isn't a criminal offence. It was a shame because there was quite clearly rubbish lying around and the girls were barely taken care of but the contract was the main reason why it wasn't admissible. I can't see how it would be any different for Nathan because Jenelle and Dave aren't committing a criminal offence either despite the fact that they are horrible human beings who shouldn't be trusted with a plant let alone children. This Ashley article explains it http://www.theashleysrealityroundup.com/2015/08/12/exclusive-the-real-reason-corey-simms-hasnt-used-teen-mom-2-footage-in-custody-fight-against-ex-wife-leah-messer/
  25. I had to laugh at Jenelle's logic. Let me explain this really sloooowly for you Jenelle. "I have a 12:45 flight, that's like 1:00!" Here is how planes work 1. Be at the airport at 11:00 at the latest. 2. Board the plane at 12:15 3. Fly at 12:45. Not 1:00 because you want Jace to sit in a hotel room all weekend. "He'll only be missing three hours of school!" Let's do some maths. 11:00 minus 30mins to be at the airport (complete guess), minus 45 mins for Jace to be at Jenelle's place minus 15mins to be safe. That takes us to 9:30 because The plane is not going to make a stopover at Jace's school to pick him up from the playground. Shocking, I know. One day might not seem like a big deal to Jenelle but it's about respecting Jace's education. He can't just be pulled out of school for his womb donor's business meeting and Bab's has every right to say no.
