Small point: Will & Zoey just use Klein as their last name, not Arnold-Klein. In 1 of the new eps, Jen asks Will what he likes about school. He says "Burps." Then she says "William Klein!", sort of trying to chastise him since it's not a very positive behavior. And, they've been running the adoption eps during the afternoons lately; they get Zoey's US passport in 1 of those eps & either Bill or Jen says the name inside of it is "Zoey Klein", with her Indian last name (I think it was), Nidhi, as her new middle name (they also kept Will's Chinese last name, Rijin, as his American middle name).

From Variety: Actress Claire Forlani Among Harvey Weinstein's Attempted, But Unsuccessful, Conquests She claims he tried 5 times to start something with her; she managed to "duck and dive", as she called it &, thankfully, nothing happened. Claire, of course, has a recurring role in H50 as retired FBI profiler Alicia Brown. And I think she's in the cast for the Halloween ep, which I posted the ep thread for yesterday (it's Ep 805, airing November 3rd).

I was watching some cast interviews by the TV Academy (the Emmy people) on YouTube recently & I don't know if anyone else realized it but Wayne Rogers & William Christopher died exactly a year apart. Wayne died on New Year's Eve 2015, & William died on New Year's Eve last year, 2016. I thought that was interesting; I wonder if that's ever happened with any other actors who worked together; it probably has. I also know of another pair of actors, from a different show, who have the same birthday, down to the year. Not for nothing, but I live in Frank Burns' hometown.

S25.E05: Week 4: Most Memorable Year

I suppose it makes sense he could've asked them to use a recording, even though he was there as a fellow competitor & could've done it live--especially since he was finished with his own routine before Vanessa did hers--because given the story used with Vanessa's dance (the premature birth of their youngest child, & youngest son), he might've gotten too emotional to make it through the song. Didn't Vanessa say it was even hard for her not to get emotional during the dance because of what it represented? -

He also hosted VH-1's old morning show, Big Morning Buzz Live a couple of years ago. And 98 Degrees went on the My2K tour, a multi-artist tour, in 2016. But they never toured with Backstreet Boys like I had thought. 98 Degrees is also releasing a new Christmas album later this month & going on tour to promote it starting in early November. -

Vanessa's professional name used to be Vanessa Minnillo. Among other things, she was Miss Teen USA in 1998, representing South Carolina in the pageant. She's also been a NYC based correspondent for Entertainment Tonight & hosted MTV's Total Request Live, & co-hosted the ABC show Wipeout & The 2007 Miss Universe Pageant. And, she & Nick guest starred together in an S1 episode (Powa Maka Moana [Pirate]) of the current Hawaii Five-0 reboot. Nick & Vanessa's characters were a couple. Nick kidnaped a group of kids of wealthy parents off of a Spring Break party boat (which he lured them to) & held them for ransom. Vanessa was a crew member on the boat &, it turns out, Nick's accomplice. -

Well, I don't necessarily think Vanessa's ticked off the whole cast. I don't think there would be a reason she'd have ticked off Nick, unless it'd be because she gets better scores than he does. -

Can anybody tell me, did Nick sing live to Vanessa's dance? I didn't actually see the dance (I check them out on YouTube to see them) but I was wondering if he did since he & Peta danced before Vanessa & Maks & he probably could've sung live if he &/or Vanessa wanted. -
I stand corrected. Thanks. Obviously I need to find time for a binge watch to refresh my memory on the classic lines.

Jen's vow renewal dress was seafoam green? I thought Chloe was gonna make it in Jen's favorite color, & I'm pretty sure Bill told Chloe Jen's favorite color was Tiffany blue (the color Tiffany & Co. jewelry stores use for their merchandise packaging & shopping bags). Unless I'm losing my mind--which is possible--I swear Bill said something about Tiffany blue in that ep anyway.

At least 1 of the lines by CJ was "You're stupid, but you're not that stupid."

I probably shouldn't say this, because it'll probably sound like I'm snarking & I'm honestly not. I think Zoey dressing as Minnie Mouse for the most recent Halloween I think we've seen--also the show where Bill thought Zoey had a crush on her pediatrician & she ends up having to get not just a shot, which she seems to be scared of (I've had a lot of them myself & I don't like 'em either, although I've been in the hospital 2 or 3 times since 2014 &, strangely enough, I think I've finally gotten a little more comfortable with/used to shots & blood draws over those hospitalizations, though I still don't like 'em more than I like 'em), but she needed a shot in each arm & each leg--is maybe sort of appropriate because there are times, including in this ep where I think her voice is high-pitched, or whatever, enough that she actually seems to sound like Minnie Mouse does in the cartoons or wherever we've heard the character speak. Just my opinion.

That's cool. I was just wondering about it because if he didn't fill your cousin in, he honestly probably should've. And it's cool Martin pushed your cousin's wheelchair on that tricky terrain. I'm a wheelchair user too & I wouldn't mind it if Martin offered to push my chair in a similar situation (I probably actually have a list of a number of celebrities who I wouldn't mind that kind of help from, but I'd probably have to think about it awhile). I love that he offered in your cousin's case. A real gentleman, & compassionate (I think I want that word) too. When the show was on, your cousin could actually tell people the actor who plays President Bartlet pushed my wheelchair once. At least if he's the type to do something like that. I might be; I'm not sure. -

I keep forgetting to mention, though maybe some already know... In the section with the Posse Comitatus podcast/podcast download link, there's also a download link to a version of the TWW theme done by a group called The Swingles, which is an a capella group based in England. They say it's FREE, though they also ask if you download it you make a donation to a charity called Justice for Vets in return. I suppose that's on the "honor" system though. I heard at least part of it somewhere on social media but I've forgotten where, unfortunately. I think it's interesting & I'll probably download it when I can get to my laptop again (I post mostly from my iPhone because it's easier since my health went in the crapper) so I can put it in my iTunes, if it's still available then (though I assume it's a reasonably permanent link). -

I'm assuming your cousin's friend proceeded to tell your cousin that Martin's 1 of our better--some might say even "legendary", or "highly-acclaimed"--actors? -
I do remember, a couple of instances where Jen gave Will a "time out" on screen. I think they were both while he was still relatively young. Jen gave Will a "time out" onscreen when he was painting a picture, either for Bill or they decided to give it to him when it was done, soon after they brought him home from China as I remember. Jen told him it was time to stop painting; Will didn't want to & he somehow ended up hitting Jen because of it. She gave him the "time out" so he'd hopefully learn he wasn't supposed to hit her since she was his Mom. The second time I remember Jen punishing Will onscreen was, I think, when he knew more English than after he arrived, & so was a little older. He said someone or something was stupid & Jen gave him a "time out", or maybe another form of punishment since he seemed to be old enough to know more English than when he arrived in Houston/the US. He got punished for that because they're, or at least Jen apparently is, trying to keep the kids from using words like that because they are or can be used in derogatory ways/ways she/they don't/doesn't want the kids to learn to use them.

The thing is, and with all due respect to Grace because I like her & always have (the rest of the cast too, for that matter), when she was on maternity leave between the end of (I think it was) S3 through about midseason of S4 (when Kono & Adam were on the run from the Yakuza because he killed his brother Michael in self-defense, or something similar, because he was about to kill Kono because she was a cop involved with Adam romantically & he thought it would cause problems for the Yakuza which Michael was involved with at the time) Grace never publicly announced she was pregnant either; the fans/public found out about it mostly because a local gossip columnist in Honolulu said something about her apparently being pregnant & being on maternity leave when she actually was written out of the show as being on the run from the Yakuza with Adam. So I think she's just 1 of those actresses who prefers to keep her private life private/doesn't choose to speak about that or stuff like her leaving the cast in the media like most other actors/public figures do. Which is fine because, while I appreciate public figures who choose to speak about it when they make the news for some reason that maybe isn't positive (like DDK about the pay dispute & when he had a DUI incident while he was on Lost, & Alex when he needed the time off during S2 because he was having the issue with painkillers he was taking for injuries from stunts he chose to do himself instead of letting his stunt double do it) I also appreciate when they choose to keep their private life/making the news for negative reasons private (as Grace has apparently has done both with her pregnancy & leaving the show because of the apparent pay dispute this season).

I've heard that about NY Style bagels too; also about NY Style pizzas/pizza crusts. I think either Scott & Alex &/or the 2 of them plus Scott's dad actually talked about the NY tap water effect on pizza crusts as their characters--Steve, Danny & NYPD detective turned private detective Tony Archer--at the end of Lekio (Radio), the ep in which Scott's dad, the legendary actor James Caan, guest starred as a character who wasn't related in any way to Scott's character, Danny, despite the fact there's an undeniable resemblance between the 2 men. I think it was aired in S2, the 18th ep of that season. I think they brought up the importance of using NYC water in authentic bagels & pizza crusts at the end of the ep, when Steve & Danny are relaxing on Papa Caan's character's houseboat & he's fixing the guys some pizza he's had flown in from NYC, apparently to thank them/Five-0 for solving the case of the week which involved the murder of Papa Caan's character's best friend, a (somewhat) Howard Stern-type radio personality who had also relocated from NYC & now aired his show on "pirate" radio--the radio personality bought airtime & broadcast the show whenever he felt like it--from a studio located in another boat moored near/in Oʻahu. If it wasn't at the end of the ep, I think there was another scene in the ep where Danny & Papa Caan's characters were eating NY Style pizza & that's where the (perceived) importance of NYC water on the crust was discussed.

In Memoriam: Entertainment Industry Celebrity Deaths

From USA Today: Hervé Léger Founder Hervé L. Leroux, Creator of the Bandage Dress, Dead at 60 From Multiple Sources, Including People Magazine: Zachariah, Son of iHeart Radio Syndicated Nighttime Host Delilah, Dead of Depression-Related Suicide If you're not familiar with it, Delilah's show usually airs in the hours before midnight on radio stations that normally play what was called "Adult Contemporary" or, maybe, "Top 40" music when I was growing up. It's a song request/dedication type show, running live either 5 or 6 nights a week with a "Best of" type show airing the other night or 2 in the week, which usually plays love songs or songs about friendship or other relationships; &, between songs, Delilah usually also talks about love & relationships. I've listened to it before, when I knew what local station carried it, & I have nothing bad to say about it. I actually kinda like it, to be honest. But I haven't heard it in a long time (longer than I'd like, actually) because the station I heard it on dropped it awhile back (a long while, really) & I'm not sure what local station, if any, carries it now (guess if her website has a "where to listen" area I need to check it out soon). -

Since Jen has mentioned in previous eps that her parents were willing to take her to out of town doctors, if it would get her the best care for her "medical complexities", as she tends to call them, & we've seen that she & Bill are apparently also willing to travel, & have traveled, with at least Will to get certain procedures done by the best doctors available (he sees the same doctors/goes to the same children's hospital in Delaware, I think it is, for his dwarfism that Jen went to as a child & I'm pretty sure that's where he also had the surgery to place his ear tubes & to remove his tonsils & adenoids; I can't remember for sure if we've seen Zoey with the same doctors yet or not), it's entirely possible they might've kept at least some of their Texas doctors for now, if they thought they were the best to treat whatever the issue is. I mean, both as a patient with a form of dwarfism & as a doctor herself, Jen would know where the best doctors to help her children (& Bill, probably, as he went to a doctor/hospital in NYC to have his back surgery done after they returned from adopting Zoey in India) would be &, since it appears they can afford it, she & Bill would likely be willing to give their kids the best care they can get for their conditions; especially since they're used to that standard of care when it comes to their own health. Not for nothing, but I also grew up with "medical complexities" & parents who were both in the medical/nursing field. If they felt it was better I, in particular (as opposed to me & my "healthy" younger brother), went to a doctor or hospital out of town to treat something (or if my local family doctor/pediatrician recommended it), or if the condition could only be treated out of town, then that's where I went for treatment.

I don't really know how to describe it, but things between TPTB & Grace Park (at least) may not be all that frosty. There's been pics & short video on social media recently of her visiting the set at least once since it was announced she was leaving the cast & filming started. When she visited, there was apparently a very warm hug between her & Alex which was captured on some of the social media sites. But, to me, her presence on set kinda begs the question of, if she doesn't wanna be on the show this season, why is she hanging around Honolulu during filming & not in Vancouver where she actually lives & where her son is apparently supposed to start school sooner, rather than later? That just seems a little strange to me: she doesn't wanna do the show anymore, yet she's still hanging out in Honolulu/on set. Also, someone pointed out on another board that the airing of Ep 802 & 803 may have been switched in light of the shooting in Las Vegas last weekend, because the ep filmed as 802 involved revenge shootings around Oʻahu (which I had forgotten despite being the poster who usually starts the new ep threads & who also includes the plot synopsis as provided by CBS at the beginning of the ep threads). That sounds like a reasonable explanation to me; they always switch the airing of TV episodes around if they involve a plot which is too similar to some negative kind of current event in real life (plane crash, fire, shooting, etc.), especially if it involves a high number of deaths &/or injuries & has usually occurred in real life within, like, a few days to a week before the ep is supposed to air.

From the Honolulu Star-Advertiser: H50 S8 Sunset on the Beach Finally Set for November 10th! Per CBS & Peter Lenkov, it appears they've finally got a date for S8's Sunset on the Beach, which they couldn't (Chose not to because of the media to-do caused by the sudden, money-related, departures of DDK & Grace Park from the show's cast just days before S8 filming began?) find a date for before the season premiere ep aired on CBS (which has been the traditional timeframe for having the celebration). The date is set for November 10th. Judging by some of the comments in the linked article (members of the military, I think both active & retired, are--somewhat pointedly, in my opinion--being invited to attend as it appears this will be over/near Veterans Day (V-Day weekend?) this year.
