Jenna: Well, you know nurses. Everything revolves around them. But they do deserve our respect. So many great moments. I think I cheered when they wheeled Rhea Perlman into the hospital, and almost died when they showed the handcuffs on her artificial legs. And the look on Jenna's face when RP called her "nurse." I had to pause it when the staple gun stayed attached to the poor woman's head. That was cruel and unusual but funny as hell. Poor Dennis. He craves Dawn but she can't shake her feelings for Patsy. Dawn will wind up with Patsy even if she has to go through his Mommy & her kidney disease to do it.

I love Avery. He's the key to getting Will back on musical track. He can also sing the shit out of a song. Sick of the Gunnar /Scarlett never ending mess.

"The party of tolerance" is a preferred label given to lefties by the right, perpetuated as a generic comeback made up by people who are insecure or have no logical explanation for their own beliefs. There are just as many Christian liberals as there are conservatives. Some just know how to explain their beliefs more coherently than others. CCB is NOT one of them.

Really, Whoopi? When you say it accomplishes nothing to vilify ANYBODY, it's better to have a discussion - what about the Cosby victims you basically called liars? Huh?
-
Bwahahaha! I do, Haleth. Eerily similar.

Regarding "intelligent design": Hey, CCB? Don't ask stupid questions and make asinine comments that you can't back up if you don't want to feel like you're being "put on the spot."

There is no better dramatic show airing on TV at this time IMO. I love it.

I believe Meredith's show is syndicated (like Ellen), MaggieMae, so not sure where you'd find it. It was on around 2am on an NBC affiliate here in Atlanta, but moved to daylight hours recently. Not the best time there either.

Oh yes, I felt awful for DiDi, but I would have yanked my mother (anyone else) out of that hole in a heartbeat. "Don't say that word. It's so nasty!"

This show is so good, I am genuinely concerned and sad about Dawn. "The Pony Song" had me in stitches. Especially after Jenna told everyone to take very special care of her and SHE is the one to kill her! It was sweet that Darnell offered to patch the couple of cracks on her driveway for free. That's what makes this show so good. I'm missing it already.

It was hard to tell who felt the most awkward during the Susie Essman/sex talk segment.

Thanks for the thread, Jaded! Yay for no Whoopi, although sad topics to start the show.

S04.E07: Can't Get Used To Losing You

Avery and Will singing to Cady made up for everything else. Love Scarlett's hair. -
Even if the show goes down (which it won't) I would hope we can continue to talk about it in this forum. The great thing about PTV is that they don't close show treads even though the shows no longer air.

I think Sia just wants to think she's ironic. Like in - can sing but can't Sia thing.

I'm pretty sure it was live, except for Drew and Toni Collette. I think Whoopi was only there because they didn't know if Joy would show due to her fall. I was also spared the end because of Obama..

Huckabee via satellite was a total fiasco. I appreciated Whoopi trying to grill him on abortion but it just wasn't connecting.

S04.E06: Please Help Me I'm Fallin'
Fisher King replied to ElectricBoogaloo's topic in Nashville [V]
I am mos def in the minority. I actually cheered when Jeff went over the edge. Layla has proven she has talent and needs to be far, far away from users and assholes like Jeff. Maybe she'll get a decent storyline now. I know Beverly was a piece of shit but she saved Deacon's life. She's no longer around to torment Scarlett and they did a beautiful song and tribute to her. I thought it was a nice, sentimental moment in an episode packed with much melodrama. Juliette needs to go to rehab yesterday. Hayden P is killing it, even though she may have tortured herself playing those scenes. It's Emmy time regardless. I thought it would be better once Will came out but the show won't allow him to have a positive moment. Not yet anyway. Just do it, writers! I love to hear Daphne sing but show needs to lock her away with Teddy until they can find her something to do besides being whiny and annoying. And stop making Maddy the bad guy. She's a horny teenage girl with dysfunctional role models, plus she's talented and surrounded by THE FRIGGIN' MUSIC BUSINESS IN NASHVILLE ! I can't blame her for wanting to break loose. Daphne is not her responsibility. Come on, writers. Stop making her jealous of her sister 24/7. This new rock dude of Rayna also needs to follow Jeff off the edge. -
