I wonder if the DCC girls are under extra scrutiny with their weddings? There is so much emphasis on superficial perfection with DCC that I imagine every aspect of a wedding, the showers and the gifts, are analyzed and discussed by the squad. I don’t know, they seem like a judgemental group of girls if someone doesn’t measure up to their standard, but that’s just my view. I could see a DCC wedding being extra pressured to be perfect, at least for some girls, instead of a celebration of love and creating a new family.

So are there more one and done girls these past years or do most stay for 2?

I think people would understand if they accommodate her wedding which was planned before this announcement. If people don’t understand, then they aren’t worth caring about. Kelli and Judy have already destroyed any idea that they are impartial and don’t play favorites. There’s no reason to expect anyone believes that now. I feel bad for her if she wanted to come back and chose a date that accommodate try outs. I also wonder about her bridesmaids if any will be trying out or if Kelli and Judy are going to her wedding. It really must feel bad to be in her position.

I wonder if making the team is really the big accomplishment - not how many years you last - for almost all the girls. I understand being a group leader and show group are pluses but it seems staying a year is enough to get you into the “sisterhood” an the pluses or being a DCC. is it my imagination that girls are staying fewer years than before? I may think that because the show focuses on certain girls.

Jinelle might be my favorite too because she seems so genuine,humble and fun. I liked her right away when i saw how good she looked on the big screen compared to how thin she looked in the studio. I rewatched a season where she said in First Meetig that she’s a black belt in karate (I think) too. Remember the time when she auditioned for show group even though she almost passed out from the pain? Or when she helped Yuko not be so homesick but to persevere? Maddie too I thought? Is this the first year they lose all 4 group leaders? Edit to add - yes someone else said Maddie too. Sorry I overlooked that post before.

This seems to be the perfect expression for Christina. It’s the face I envision her making. Lol. Guess the photographer understood who she is pretty quickly. I guess it doesn’t matter that one of the girls weddings is the day of interviews though the wedding may be in the evening. They may be able to schedule her first or something. I would think Judy and Kelli are invited. I had heard they were pushing auditions up but I guess they are making them later. Maybe they will cut back training camp from the slog it was this year.

I didn’t likethat guest choreographer and I wonder if she came back. She seemed to be ripping into Angela for a tv moment to me. im sorry Angela didn’t make show group. I do think seniority would have way more value than DCC seems to give them. I’ve only seen it work on behalf of the two returning injured cheerleaders - Danielle and Cassie. I’m not saying take veterans at any cost -but Angela deserved a fair shot a show group after 5 years even if she had turned down appearances. Maybe lack of respect for seniority is a reason so many girls leave.

I think she’s going to be a struggle for Kelli (and maybe Judy)every day she’s around DCC either in camp or on the team. She’s already shown her immaturity in every aspect of training camp. But she loves being “big and bold” and “Aplus plus” Victoria rather than “mature cheerleader” or “good, reliable teammate” Victoria. Judy already tried to hide her in the very back of the triangle where she stood out for her mistakes and over dancing.

Yes, I agree that’s the only reason to do DCC. I used to naively think it was for the dancing, but that’s obviously not the reason. My point about Rachel was that she will stay longer than a year to the extent it benefits her. She’s not concerned about the team or wanting to live in Texas either

Did Kelli ask Loren if her breasts were god given or man given? Something like that?

Yeah. I’m still a big Holly fan and I wish her well.

I think Rachel will stay as long as she gets benefits or connections from DCC. I think she likes dancing too but I think she wants to use DCC to move ahead in life.

I don’t even remember her at all. But my memory isn’t great for these girls. I watched part of the last episode of the season but couldn’t get past the Malena cut. The juxtaposition of her crying and saying “no, I know I can do this” and Judy saying something like “Gee, golly, they think is cutting them on the last day is a bad thing.” Then the happy team announcement, was just not something I enjoyed. I doubt I’ll ever watch this season or last season again.

Any word about the Thanksgiving show? Last I heard the DCC girls were going to audition for Meghan Trainor. I’m not sure if anyone has seen any more information about those auditions.

I’m so out of the loop I don’t know who most of these costumes are supposed to be.

That’s beautiful. I may steal that idea for next year. who is the girl in the photo with her and who is she trying to be? A lot of these photos the girls look like they aren’t really trying.

I’m sure they all get corrections. To cut a girl on the last day, Kelli and Judy should at least have talked to her once to give her the famous “wake up call.” Even if not for Lily’s sake, it’s going along with the terrible exit and storytelling this season that most viewers were blindsided by Lily’s and even Tara’s cuts.

There was a lot of drama and unfair treatment around Victoria. Not to mention the garbage entitled attitude Victoria brought to training camp. “I really wanted show group” said with a whine and puppy dog eyes. Look at how much happened around Cassie and she had no weight issues, etc. So, yes, I think deciding on whether she will be dealing with a lot of drama and morale issues involving Kelli’s special pet could definitely impact Kashara coming back. There’s a massive difference between Victoria and the other rookie candidates. That difference is the blind favoritism shown Victoria that doesn’t apply to Ashley.

Has anyone ever solved memory problems in the history of the show? I mean those huge memory problems where she just stands out dramatically even to the untrained viewer? I’m sure Judy knew from the beginning that Malena would never make it. I think Judy would have cut her before she quit her job.

Kashara chose to not give her last sticker to Victoria. If she wanted her, she wouldn’t have said that Victoria doesn’t think before she speaks. She went way out on a limb to tell Kelli that she didn’t want victoria as a teammate.

I know her weight could be managed. I don’t think she is capable of doing it. For example, she wasn’t willing to take help given to her by DCC management. I doubt she will ever change. Did her mother ever grow up that we have seen on camera? I think Victoria might double down on her over the top, head desk banging, clown crying mascara self. Guess we will see next year if we decide to watch. Im wondering if Victoria coming back is a reason Kashara is leaving. She was shown not wanting Victoria on the team.

I think she will never manage her weight issues. We’ve seen other girls struggle and none of them had gained 14 pounds in training camp as a rookie. As for the rest, I don’t see her changing her “A plus plus Victoria” for anyone.

They love and care about the team running well. How much they actually care beyond a superficial emotional response, I don’t know. Maybe they care more about Lacey and Brennan because they’re known them for 4 or 5 years.

I thought of doing a rewatch as a group, but I’m going to new a long break before i watch any of this BS again.
