  1. They're going to have the worst time figuring out a place to live. What would be a midpoint between New Jersey and Long Island? Queens? Even Queens->NJ seems like a really bad commute each day.
  2. It's like the third episode or something and already I think they're this season's Vaughn and Monet.
  3. Guys, bugger me sideways. I can't believe what I saw on Tuesday. After what I saw, I'm actually convinced these two will be the happiest couple. I can't believe it. Jaclyn is kind of a genius in her slow, almost methodical approach to this marriage. It's working far better than any of the other two. Jessica and other Ryan just scare me now.
  4. I agree. If Jaclyn at least gave it time before thinking it was some epic failure, then maybe it could. If she can have a modicum of patience, then this marriage will work. If it won't, then she will see the effects firsthand.
  5. Jaclyn needs to shut up about him not feeling like he's her husband. Of course he's not going to feel like a husband right away or whatever. She's known the guy for twelve fucking hours, if that. The attraction might be there, but everything else (rightfully so) should take time.
  6. Michael Sam was picked eighth or ninth to last in last year's NFL Draft and cut by two teams' practice squads, which means the NFL is probably not for him. Dancing, though, could be. I quite liked him. He could be an early favorite if he keeps it up.
  7. A) I don't think so. I heard on a podcast she herself was on that she doesn't want anymore shows. B) This is not bloody Boyhood. We don't need to follow them around for another year.
  8. A) This feels like that quintessential prom picture in front of something that most people have. I'm in my 20s, so I can attest, haha. B) Would Jamie and Jason last if they were actually married through the experiment? They have the common bond of being from very broken families, but beyond that...maybe? I don't think that complete revulsion she experienced with Doug at first would've happened with Jason.
  9. Jason, I'm sure it was a very happy occasion, but for fuck's sake, that tux is a good size and a half too big, at least.
  10. Super Bachelorette Sisters sounds like a fucking trainwreck. If Britt is picked, she'll be done with him before the next election and if she isn't, well, mazel tov to them, they'll make it to Thanksgiving. I don't see it working.
  11. I hope this show doesn't go through a Bacheloresque wave of decline in quality where no one can stay together and there's no success. The first season of the Bachelorette produced the most successful couple by far, but other seasons - save for the sporadic marriage - haven't had a lot.
  12. I know... there's a small part of me that wants Cortney and Jason to last once the cameras stop rolling, but if she keeps acting like this, it won't and that makes me quite sad.
  13. Maybe their friends chipped in. It's also possible to be fairly frugal flying domestic if you play your cards right.
  14. If Jason weren't part of the FDNY and ergo, tied to the city or at least the NY Metro, I'd suggest that they move in like, a year. They need to go someplace far away. North Carolina, Minnesota, anywhere but New York. I think the stress and fast pace is taking a toll on their marriage.
  15. I hope Britt doesn't become the next Bachelorette. Let's be honest, whoever she'd end up engaged to would either break it off 2 months later or end up divorced by the election.
  16. One of the two country boys had a weird, almost "rocker"/grunge vibe to him. I feel like he'd have a song on a moderately shitty, angst-filled teen drama if this was 1992.
  17. I don't like it when people rejected by the show say "there's always next year". I give this show a year at best before it's cancelled.
  18. I can't remember Mackenzie or Samantha at all. Did they even speak? EDIT: Kelsey fucking scares me. I'm not watching it if she ends up being the Bachelorette.
  19. Jason and Cortney are an immaculate couple. It's hard to believe these were complete strangers just last year.
  20. Nope. http://rivergrandrapids.com/hudsonville-high-school-graduate-kelsey-poe-on-abcs-the-bachelor/ She was 28 and he, 43 when he passed.
  21. It's not like this is The Bachelor: (insert name of failed state here) where they don't have running water. They live in a mansion probably worth more than the GDP of some nations. @FlyingEgret: I agree, it's weird. I'm a guy, but I've had really bad acne for a long time, so I've tried some of the face creams and stuff. Having stuff on your face while you're asleep is uncomfortable.
  22. Go Chris! Score one for correct judgment!
  23. /headdesk People gotta stop trying to get back on the show. Get off the Bachelor and enjoy life! Explore... you know, monogamy!
  24. What a weird, sensual thing to do on like, your third date with someone. When they showed this in the preview with their shirts off, I was convinced that Chris was about to shag someone this early... which would be both a Bachelor first and also gross.
  25. What the fuck. One of those girls really just confused New Mexico with actual Mexico. "I've never been out of the country!" EDIT: Another one also said they're going to a beach resort. I hope whoever said that doesn't end up marrying Chris. I'm worried that their future kid might be the one who has to tell her Santa's not real.
