  1. Yeah, I thought Silas was a huge d-bag to Nathan today. And still, I think Nathan only didn't tell him because of Silas just going on and on and ON about his forever love with Sam. And I'm betting Silas will rage at him when he finds out Nathan knew something and didn't say anything. Shut up, dick.
  2. If you're buying, I'll take a double scoop of cookies n' cream!
  3. That actually caught me by surprise. I thought Morgan would be taken with the idea of the baby possibly being his, but I guess the horror of being in a WTD situation with his own father is the overriding factor here, not that I can blame him. Was Franco the SERIAL KILLER being so casual with Kiki about Ava being murdered - a murder he helped set into motion and was super gleeful about - supposed to be funny?
  4. ACK don't even put that out in the universe! I think the show, if they recast Jason, will try and get themselves a name soap actor, but I can't see it being BM or MM at this point. But who knows, I didn't believe the rumors about Michelle Stafford and look how that turned out lol.
  5. Speaking of the Emmys, per Michael Fairman, Kassie dePaiva and Tuc Watkins will be presenters this year.
  6. Enjoyable sibling bonding scenes with Britt and Nathan today. I particularly liked that she was supportive of him still thinking of Nina as a sister. And their casually tossing off/accepting a lunch date invitation was cute. Stupid Nina's arrival better not screw this up. Lucas has clearly gotten splashed with some of the eau de smug Felix is wearing because both he and Nurse DuBois bugged big time today. Poor Brad (...how the hell did that happen?!?!). Sam and Silas were disgusting. Was this big outpouring of love supposed to be a "See, he's totally not John McBain, he can say 'I love you' no problem!" moment from Ron? Previews...ugh, Franco/Kiki. And how heartwarming that the SERIAL KILLER wanted to tell Kiki in person that her mother had most likely been murdered, thanks to his efforts.
  7. Julian earned some points today in pointing out that Lucas might be in danger from the SERIAL KILLER dating his sister. Still, I liked Bobbie getting her mama bear on. As soon as Patrick made that comment about the baby doing better and being stronger, I just knew he'd have a setback by episode's end. Shut up, Felix.
  8. Yeah, I think Georgie was the one who tried coming between Bo and Nora. Didn't Rachel kill her?
  9. Dorian (to Kim): You can call me Mayor Lord. As mayor, it's part of my job to...feel your pain.
  10. Oh I totally agree that he didn't need to be a Buchanan. But I understand why TPTB made him one as part of their mission to Make The RappaDavidsons Happen and to, like you mentioned, add another level to the stupid Buchanan/RappaDavidson feud. Wheras Rex and David had already happened, to whatever degree they were going to. So the push late in the game to cram them into the Buchanans made even less sense to me.
  11. While I was never a particular fan of Ben's, at least that made some sense because Ben was still a new character TPTB at the time were desperate to make happen and they were trying to expand his connections outside of being Viki's love interest/husband. The better comparison is probably David suddenly being Bo's son. Just like Rex, David had been around for years, could stand on his own as a character, and was even further cemented to the canvas via his romance with Dorian. Why did he also need to be a Buchanan?
  12. I...I can't even remember how the show was trying to make us feel about Rafe because he's been off-screen for so long.
  13. Ron and the soap press: OMG, Fluke is Bill Eckhert, what a stunning twist, what a total surprise, genius, amazing, Emmys! The viewers: ...what? We guessed that from minute one.
  14. I found Michael Logan's questioning for this interview particularly annoying. It's telling when he describes Ava being pregnant as a terrific twist and Maura West basically says it's a soap story that's been done since the dawn of time lol.
  15. Not 100% sure this is the right thread for this, but Michael Logan (ugh) has a new interview with Maura West: http://www.tvguide.com/News/General-Hospital-Maura-West-Pregnant-1082398.aspx I liked Maura West's reaction, as a viewer, to Sonny calling Ava a whore.
  16. Bree Williamson, who played the DID-having, Antonio-banging version of Jess.
  17. Morning all. It's going to take some time for my typing fingers to take me here instead of TWOP. And I gotta say I'm actually curious about today's episode given there were numerous things in the preview (Nathan and Britt talking (even if was about Nina), Lucas and his boys, Bobbie going all mama bear on Julian) that caught my attention.
  18. But would Trevor Lansing have been watching Luke for years, as Fluke claimed on Friday?
  19. And Rex was the king of the sucker punch. He'd slug someone (Schuyler, Clint, Cutter) and then when they went to retaliate, someone (usually Bo or Gigi) would intervene to save him from getting the stuffing beat out of him. Yeah, you won't find those Rex/Schuyler/Rachel scenes mixed in with the Kish edits (that day, poor Kyle and Fish had to listen to Dr. Greg "A Brain Is Not A Foot" Evans give a diatribe about Schuyler's awfulness). As I noted, Rex is truly awful in those scenes, but Schuyler does get to punch him, Rachel gets to yell at him, and there's some cuteness with Sierra and Schuyler too.
  20. Word. There was a serious disconnect between how the writers thought Rex was coming off during this story ("Look at noble, heroic Rex, helping that whore Gigi get back at that evil bastard Schuyler even after all she did to him!") and how he really was ("Wow, just when I thought Rex couldn't get any douchier..."). I mean, remember in earlier scenes on the mountain when he finds out the baby isn't his? He basically says he doesn't give a shit that an innocent baby might die and, instead of backing up Fish or even going to try and help his "sisters" (both of whom he knows are in mortal danger at that moment), he runs off to tattle to Gigi. Ass! And the worst is yet to come because you haven't made it to the scenes where he storms into Rachel and Schuyler's apartment after Schuyler is allowed to take Sierra home, orders Rachel out of the room (...in her own apartment), accuses Schuyler of taking an interest in the baby only to get back in Gigi's good graces (...even though Rex is clearly doing the same), and then is shocked, just SHOCKED when Schuyler doesn't immediately hand Sierra over. What a smug douchebag. Thank goodness Schuyler at least has the good sense to sock Rex in the snout.
  21. Beyond the general pointlessness of Rafe, I just know Ron and company are going to ignore the very real reasons Rafe might have a mental breakdown (the years spent on the run with his paranoid mother, said mother getting murdered because he wasn't where he was supposed to be, finding out his father was a serial killer with a vampire fetish) and it'll be because Molly rejected him, oh noes!
  22. Well we're already treading into Claudia territory, might as well go all the way.
  23. I can't believe Rafe is still a thing. What have we done to deserve this?
