  1. I didn't mind the Bo/David relationship (though they often leaned too much on the "PA!" jokey, schticky aspect of it, there was also a handful of very nice scenes between them), but I still don't get what the point was. David had been a popular character for years, he was cemented to the canvas even outside his relationship with Dorian. Why did he need to be a Buchanan?
  2. I was just wondering because the site where I posted fic before doesn't seem to be up anymore. So I could either reload it to another site and then link it here or just post the actual stories in here. Thoughts?
  3. Cool! So how does this work? Should we be posting links or can we post the direct text to this thread?
  4. Rama (holding a huge chunk of Aubrey's hair): Better a bitch than a dyed blonde whore. Aubrey (kicking the air in anger): I do NOT DYE MY HAIR!
  5. Destiny (to VicTodd): Back up off me, freak show, or we have a problem. Destiny (to VicTodd): Touch me again and I will yell stranger danger.
  6. Roxy: I'm a drunk, you're a druggie, we're both desperate, and we're both total losers. Schuyler: Yay team.
  7. And I hated how nobody seemed to mind that Rex basically sold organs for money and power. I remember Joey tried to pipe up with some half-hearted disgust and Viki actually SHUSHED him.
  8. Well then I guess my unpopular opinion would be that Rex and Echo should both have been arrested and prosecuted for forging legal documents and giving themselves the power over the donation of organs that they were in no way legally entitled to.
  9. Niki (to Echo): You can call me Nicole. I'ma call you homewrecking slut.
  10. I loved the addition of Lee Carter this week. The sibling banter between him, Johnny, and Nancy was perfection.
  11. Oh I absolutely loathed the trip under the bus Clint received to make the retcon work, but I'm not sure that belongs under unpopular opinions lol.
  12. Definitely agree with this. Rex's relationships with Natalie and particularly with Bo were much more interesting when they weren't biologically related. Not everyone has to be related to each other to form strong, loving relationships (see: Kyle and Roxy). I just never understood the need to cram Rex into a core family. The character had been on the show for years, had fans, I don't understand what the point was. I certainly didn't like Rex any better just because he was Clint's.
  13. scotlore, I think what he was asking was why he and Madeline/Magda/Donna Mills were cut out of the will, not Nina. The answer being, Nathan is not Papa Reeves' son and Donna Mills was punished for covering that up. Therefore, the estate went to his only biological child - Nina.
  14. I mean, I could quote all of Hos vs. Mos, but I'll restrict myself to my top three: 3) Stacy (to Fish): C'mon, Oliver. You've known me long enough to know that just because I say something doesn't mean it's the truth. 2) Kim (to Kyle): Once a blackmailer, always a blackmailer. You really give gays a bad name. Kyle (in response): Well you and Stacy aren't doing strippers and sluts any favors either. 1) Kyle (to Stacy and Kim): And once they [Rex and Schuyler] hear what we have to say, there won't be a moat BIG enough to keep you safe.
  15. I've said it before and I will no doubt be saying it again and again, but Nathan "Detective 2x4 Splinters" West is in no way fierce enough to be Dr. O's son. And he's definitely not Cassadine material if he ends up being Victor Cassadine's child.
  16. Clint (to Kim): Now then, if I'm going to be the daddy, sooner or later, we're going to have to talk about the sugar.
  17. All the "OMG Liz might die SHE MIGHT DIE!!!" panic was so ridiculous because she was clearly, obviously shot in the shoulder. Ouchy? Yes. But she's not on death's door, Nik.
  18. Because then it would be harder to have Emma around for the little kid triangle, which grows more and more annoying every time it's on.
  19. If Nathan is Dr. O and Victor's child, I would have to assume their combined awesomeness canceled each other out to produce such a boring block of wood.
  20. So I guess there are spoilers out there that it turns out Nathan "Detective Splinters" West is actually Dr. O's son? I don't like that at all.
  21. Agreed. There was a certain comedic chemistry with Amanda Setton that usually made the Stacy/Kim scenes fun. And of course, she was part of Hos vs. Mos, for which she will always have a special place in my heart. But then we'd get a scene of her with JPL or FF and....cringe. I remember when Gigi found out that Stacy was pregnant with Rex's baby (back when she really was). All three were TERRIBLE in what was supposed to be a big dramatic moment.
  22. I think, because I only started watching again once most of the bag o' blood stuff was done and she was partnered up with Kim, I didn't hate Stacy as much as many did. Certainly not with the same consuming rage with which I hated Ford and his ilk later on.
  23. Per usual, I enjoyed Dr. O today, sniping about but enjoying delicious sugary cereal.
  24. I'm not looking forward to Franco's return today. Or Dante giving Britt shit about trying to evade punishment for her crimes since he's helped Sonny do that a time or two.
