Poor Ted.
-
It's back! I liked it. The scene at the Amish farm was great and the outfit David was wearing was hilarious.
-
Why did Keith vote Tasha? That was out of the blue. Also I found this episode kind of boring compared to all the stuff that happened last week.

S31.E10: Like Selling Your Soul to the Devil / S31.E11: My Wheels Are Spinning
dkb replied to Tara Ariano's topic in Survivor
Did Stephen basically vote himself out by throwing a vote to Abi? They really should have gotten rid of Joe, even though I like him. He will win again, and if he gets to Final Tribal he can win. -
I thought I saw Spencer's vote as: "Kelly Wi" for Wigglesworth. I guess I didn't get a good look at his vote.
-
Didn't see that one coming. Wiggles wasn't really a big influence in this game. Why not Tasha or Keith, people who are in the immunity challenges. Man, the rain looked brutal!
-
Yes, I am wondering if they didn't think of the split vote at all or did and decided that there was no way one of the girls could have the idol and decided against splitting. With such a big group they shouldn't be taking chances like that.
-
I hope that all the tribals are as interesting as the last two have been. I think I kind of understand what Ciera is saying about "big moves" and I think some of them in the alliance did too. Glad they made the smarter decision to get rid of Savage instead of Stephen. Stephen's not winning any immunities, and isn't as arrogant.
-
That is true, but usually there is a reason that makes sense to Abi and we see it. But I guess there was too much other drama going around this episode to include an Abi narrative. Ciera HATES Savage so much, it's fun to watch. Also surprised that Savage put aside his dislike for Ciera and let Kass be the one that went home. I thought that he was going to end up going home because he would try to make Ciera the target.

I loved this episode. So much fun!!! Why wasn't Abi with working with the majority and Tasha? I thought she liked Tasha, and they were apart for only 3 days right after the swap.
-
No....PG!! Really interesting episode, wasn't sure if it was going to be PG or Abi. I wish it had been Abi though. and I was laughing at Abi's comments at the voting, all that totally applies to her.

Awww I didn't want Shirin to go, but she was right it was her mistake. Terry annoys me a lot, and came off so smug at Tribal.
-
Shirin is so right about Vytas being swarmy, and I'm watching him on tv.... can't imagine how much more he comes off in person. Please Abi be next, although I like TeKeo and don't want them to lose again, just once more to get rid of Abi. I like PeiGee and she was one of the people I voted for, but that bracelet convo was weird.
-
Totally agree. Hanna looked the best, and I think Alison looked the worst.

Am I missing something? Where's Caleb in those pictures?

I really liked it. It was funny, interesting and different from the other Marvel movies. I loved the way the stories Luis told were shown on screen with the other actors mouths moving and his voice speaking. And Cassie was such a cutie!

I guess I'm easy, because that looks really good. I wasn't thinking about watching it in theatres but now I might have to add it my list.

S30.E14: It's A Fickle, Fickle Game / S30.E15: Worlds Apart Reunion

Shane!!! What? I wanted to see him and his Blackberry again so badly. Yay for Pei-Gee. Most of the survivors I voted for got on. So excited for next season. -
I also had a hard time understanding some of the dialogue. Didn't know what to expect, but a few of the people I saw it with really wanted to see it and were convincing me with the awesome rating this has on rotten tomatoes. It was good and I'm glad a saw it. Hoults character is my favourite.
-
I thought it was good, but not GREAT, like I was expecting. Maybe I just hyped it up in my own mind because it just wasn't as good as the first Avengers, or Captain America: Winter Soldier. I saw it with 6 other people, and they all felt a little underwhelmed, and liked the first one better. I watched in IMAX and was having trouble hearing some of the dialogue in scenes especially Iron Man.

You Haven't Seen WHAT? Movies Everyone Saw Besides You
dkb replied to BoogieBurns's topic in Everything Else About Movies
All the one's on your list, lol plus: The Hunger Games The Divergent Series Avatar Frozen Transformers The first two Batman's with Christian Bale I do go watch movies at least once a month, but I never got around to any of these. I usually have some other random movie that I want to watch. -
Watched it again today, and I liked it better. I think I still would rank it at the bottom though. Totally agree with the above. I thought he was rude to Bilbo throughout the movies and didn't get the closeness between him and Bilbo in this movie. Also letting his cousin, Dain and his dwarves fight the Orcs without helping- even though the reason they came was to support Thorin- was horrible. I know he was influenced by the "Dragon Sickness" but seriously not cool. I haven't read the book for many years but, was that in the book-leaving his cousin to fight? and why didn't the others in the company ditch him and go and fight with the dwarves before Thorin's change. Is the last scene between Bilbo and the dwarves supposed to be the same day of the battle? Or had some time passed?

I've watched the Lord of the Rings Trilogy and all three of the Hobbits, and I think The Battle of the Five Armies was the worst. I was super excited to watch it-got free tickets to an advance screening-and was disappointed. I am watching it again next week, maybe my expectations were to high. Anybody else seen it yet?
