  4. Well, Metta World Peace shows up on their show periodically...
  5. Kromm, you inspired me - Greg Proops comes back, and Colin whatshisface and Chip/Charles Esten(Nashville) from Whose Line Is It Anyway.
  6. Well, it IS his show after all... It's a very subjective thing to judge, and trust me, I don't always agree with his choices about the audience response, both in regular play and after the 'wipe,Wipe, WIPE' thing. But I AM happy to see the contestants get some exposure. There are comedians that I'd never heard of popping up here that I'm loving.
  7. Using Hardwick's connections, how about a Breaking Bad themed episode? Vince Gilligan, Aaron Paul, and Jonathan Banks OR Bryan Cranston, Bob Odenkirk, and Dean Norris Substitute Giancarlo Esposito for anyone who can't make it.
  8. Good points - Chris Jericho WAS hysterical. Thumbs up on Hannibal Buress, and yes, I'm in need of a break from Doug Benson's stoner routine. People had been asking Wil Wheaton if he would be on the show on Twitter and his Tumblr when it first came on, and he was hesitant, he felt that he couldn't play at the same speed as professional comedians. I think that episode was a perfect blend, because the timing was slower, and they all know each other well.
  9. Nailed it. When the episode ended, it was like my eyes opened to why Yang will leave. However, I respectfully disagree on the 'Owen fan' part - or maybe that's just my crazy love of Kevin McKidd? I've really liked Owen, I think the Owen/Christina thing is what's exhausted me.
  10. I really thought she had, in the scene where Sara had Helena in that headlock or chokehold - it really seemed to me that Laurel knew it was Sara. And then...it wasn't. I'm fairly new to the show, but that had me scratching my head.
  11. I admitted to my brother tonight that Terry Crews has made "The List" for me. Yes, indeed he has. My brother thought that was a respectable choice.
  12. That baby is creepy. And I'm going to miss Sebastian. I'm hopeful Meisner isn't gone for good? Cause he's nice to look at... And WU! Back on the job. I wish they would let him in on the secret!
  13. I have to agree, a lot of times I don't even realize that there's a 'theme' going on until after the fact, but I do notice that there's some great chemistry going on between the panelists. That said, I'm really bummed that Ron Funches hasn't shown up since I declared my adoration for him. I'm starting to think I jinxed it. Please come back, Ron Funches!
  14. *Star Trek: Enterprise - horrid horrid horrid song. Diane Warren and Star Trek together is not just a bad idea, but enough to make me run from the room screaming, with hands over my ears, "I CAN'T HEAR YOU! I CAN'T HEAR YOU! LAALALALALLALALALALALALALALALAL" Gilmore Girls was always a perfect fit with "Where You Lead" by Carol King. Buffy and Nerf Herder - another great combo. In terms of current shows, I liked Sleepy Hollow's theme/opener, and Community. Parenthood is a nice match with it's theme. Not a lot fewer expositiony themes these days. Oh, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, that one is a classic! (no, it's not modern, just came to me...) *Just edited to add my mini-rant above came BEFORE I clicked over to see the original thread, and let me tell you, I got loved how the Enterprise theme was kicked around over there! Nice to see we have some similar wavelengths going on around here...
  15. Agreed, but I thought she did kind of pull off a decent 'confused and distracted'. There were bits and pieces of this episode that didn't work for me, but overall, I did enjoy it quite a bit. And yes, my allergies acted up there when Kate came out of the airplane restroom to see the wedding at the front of the plane. *sniff* Dang first day of spring...
  16. THANK YOU, DAVE! Yes, when Veronica answered that call, I thought "Really? She still has his number in her phone? And a picture?" So much more to say, have to process!
  17. Stacy Keach! Dean Stockwell! Barry Bostwick! This show hit my sweet spot in a way that has never happened before, and will probably never happen again.
  18. Truth. And this is how I attempt to solve conflict in my life as well. Strangely, it doesn't work out that well. Also, more Weevil is good, so great point.
  19. Agreed on both counts! And he was so calm once he realized it was over. He just knew. And one last hurrah from everyone! Even Dick, in his own Dick-ish way, in this and the previous episode - hesitating to show Logan the video, because he knows that Logan will NOT react well, and apologizing to Mac on the beach. I'd forgotten these bits of humanity breaking through.
  20. Carrie Ann, I think you summed up my feelings in your first line about it feeling like a gift I didn't deserve. For as short as the shoot had to be, I think they did a remarkable job recreating a lot of the feel of the show. Looking back after a few hours, I think the hardest thing for me was Given the two hour time constraint on screen, I was happy to see who was able to make it onscreen, and didn't feel any one character got too shortchanged. And aside from my issue under spoiler tags up there, I found on whole that it was pretty believable from where we were nine years ago in show time, and just under seven years ago in real time. Whew. Made it. Time to take a breather! Agreed, Lisin, I was feeling pretty emotionally invested there towards the end of this past year. So, anyone want to do some other a re-watch of some other show starting in April? :)
  21. Very happy that this came to Dubuque so I could go see it in the theater. Dougal, I agree with a lot of your points - I wonder if I give it a thumbs up, and I really loved that they were able to make this movie. They all looked to be enjoying their time on screen!
  22. lashaffe, amen to what you said!

  24. Third'ed. Freeman is such an incredible talent, and as much as I enjoy watching Cumberbatch be all Cumberbatchly all over the place, Freeman is the heart. I think the third episode of season three really nails that.
