  1. I had forgotten how good this episode was - it's always been one of my favorites, but re-watching was incredible. The scene between Logan and Veronica - "Annoy tiny blonde one - annoy like the wind!" - is fantastic. And amen - I honestly wanted these two together more than Logan and Veronica at times...
  2. Oh, but then she wouldn't be Veronica, now, would she? Not a great ep, but it was still early, and so much better then much of what they put on tv these days. *cough cough, get off my lawn you kids*
  3. I'm with Dave on the iPhone thingy; in fact, watching that scene live, I was actively cringing, thinking, 'What if that was my PHONE! That would be HORRIBLE! Wait a minute. OH GOD! WHERE is MY PHONE!" That said, I let it go for the ep, since I really enjoy this show, and I'm getting much better at the "it's not REAL!" thing. Oh, and I found my phone.
  4. Thanks, Denay! I felt as though I had seen so much of it before, but just...not...quite. If that makes sense.
  5. Editor's Note: This topic replaces the old Cougar Town forum which has been vaulted at the location below: http://forums.previously.tv/forum/134-cougar-town-v/ The tag at the end was nice. Later Grayson, Monica!
  6. Hot dang, I would have lost good money last night betting on one of three characters biting it. And then no one did. Well, except (RIP), but not who I was thinking - were all on my short list... I have no idea where I'm going to turn for my over-the-top fun after this wraps next week. I didn't really have an issue with Macey's possession, I suppose, since she doesn't seem that young, and she is a smart and mature kid from what we have seen. I think I would have been a little more spooked by the fact that she could walk then anything...
  7. Liked the twist with Boyle and his need to talk to Diaz. And his certainty of future events.
  8. I especially liked Coulson's reaction to May's revelation. Twice.
  9. Agreed that it was a nice twist that Duncan ended up being a good president, and probably a lot better then Wanda would have been! I always felt a little bad for Duncan - I don't know if it was the actor or how they wanted him portrayed (probably a combo) that made him seem so out of it and drugged up. Especially since I saw the actor in a Gilmore Girls episode the season before, when he was apparently supposed to be the Logan 1.0, and he didn't seem that way then.
  10. I'm loving the Veronica/Keith relationship in these early episodes; they have their rough spots, but they do love each other so much. The music is great, and the electronics don't drag me out as much as I thought (maybe because I have several family members who will use flip phones until they die). That said, I agree that the idea of the long con here is hard to believe, but hey, it IS pretend! I have always just been glad that my initial dislike of Troy was justified...
  11. That was my reaction to Lilly's dress, too! Oy, vey, those crazy kids, get off my lawn!
  12. I'd be on board for that. So there's what, 60-65 episodes? Goal of one a day between now and the movie release?
  13. Was there a specific show and/or movie this was parodying? I'm a huge fan of the true crime stuff that used to be on A&E, and lots of crime dramas; I wondered if it was The Killing? Or is it a conglomeration of shows/movies?
  14. I think spreading the shows over the four weeks before Christmas (or at least three?) would work better. It was actually really nice to have something new to watch, without having to keep track of plot (plot hurts my head around holiday time. I blame family.). That said, I really thought Ten was going to win, although Home Free definitely had the "Jewel-love" going on. All three final groups were enjoyable. That said, I'm hoping it's renewed for next winter...
  15. Wait, do you mean Glen Weldon WOULDN'T recognize me at a party? I agree, as I increase my podcast repertoire, the closer I feel to the people on it. I introduced my mom to a number of podcasts, and the way she talks to me about the PCHH crew cracks me up; I think she would love to sit down with them and just mother them all to death!
  16. Thank you, Edna! I am so happy that there is at least one other person who wants Charlie to stick around! And I think you nailed what I've been feeling - I loved Huck from the get-go, and I adore the actor and the portrayal, yet, he's run the course. Charlie has a much more (horrible to say this, but for f***s sake people, IT'S SCANDAL!) entertainment value at this point. Oh, and can I kill Quinn? Pretty please!
  17. I agree that Quinn needs to go - and as much as I love Huck, I think he does too. What if they brought Charlie into OPA? I know it sounds crazy, but I really like what the actor has done with that role, and given the malleabilty (spelling?) of morals at OPA, I think it could be an interesting twist... I love Harrison. Please keep him. Also, Mellie would be awesome at OPA, that's a great idea. And I love the actor who is playing Rowan/Eli - I hope they keep him in the mix.
  18. You did miss Deacon, who is pretty much my WATCH, my only reason for watching. I like the pretty.
  19. I would love it if they killed Quinn off, but I suspect they won't. So sad.
  20. How weird is it that Jacqueline Bisset, Hayden Panettiere, Monica Potter, and Sofia Vergara are nominated in the same category? (Sorry, Janet McTeer! Don't know you or your work!)
