To find prospects for her 4th child.
-
He did? When was this said by him? Jeremy likely sees a cycle in the Messer clan regarding education and lack of work ethic. Nothing wrong whatsoever with any woman wanting to be a caretaker of her children and being at home. Miranda is doing it and appears to be doing it very well. The issue I take with Leah is, how she demands the financial caretaker of the family be at home tending to her needs while she does a lackluster job of being a SAHM. Leah likely felt with the money she and Jeremy were bringing in from MTV, there was no need for him to travel outside of the state for work. Now see, this is where common sense comes into play. Leah doesn't think long-term. She thinks of the present without thinking how her choices affect the future. Sure, Jeremy could be the type of guy, like UBT, who sits at home and doesn't work or find work near home and receive a lower salary because he pulls in a one-time check from MTV and to him. That could be sufficient to some people. For Jeremy, he is thinking long-term. He is thinking about the day MTV is no longer Leah's welfare check. Who will end up paying more for the care of his child when that happens? Not Leah. Who will hire her? No one. He mentioned how businesses are closing up in the Holler due to the coal mine situation. What low-paying jobs will be available? He is thinking about the fact Leah is likely not saving up for Addie's future. He probably knows his daughter's best chance in the future is to go get an education so she is not having to rely on a guy the way Leah does. He probably wants his daughter know there is more to the world than the Holler and being a mother. If that is her choice, so be it. But that doesn't mean he can't prepare for the possibility that she may want more and in order to give her that option, he wants to hustle - not like Kail - and offer her that chance. I grew up with parents who ran two businesses. My mother was there more than dad, but us kids knew we didn't have to sacrifice and we had the option of getting an education because of their hard work. A question about this Marco Polo scene between Jenelle and Jace. Where is it in the episode? I must have FF through the episode too much. Did anyone catch UBT telling Jenelle how they don't have to take Barb with them on vacations anymore now that they can travel with Jace? He said it when they were watching the kids playing with the water balloons. When did those two ever take Barb on vacation with them? I know Nathan and Jenelle did, but not those two douchebags.
-
Kudos to Barb for knowing to wear her work clothes so as not to upset Jace about court. That goes to show there is a lot of worry on the part of that little boy. He is worrying about adult business that affects him. He should be worrying about a spelling test at school, not the drama Jenelle stirs up.

Natural? People can have a loving and solid sibling relationship without the technicalities getting in the way. Blood doesn't make people love one another. I am an adopted child. To me, that is natural because my siblings and I were chosen to be part of our family.

Kail retweeted a comment referring to POC as "n*ggas". Not her first time either. Nothing vague at all about that tweet. Really, Kail? Who uses people for convenience?
-
Preach. I am LOL so hard right now. Being called a twat should be the least of her worries. She needs to get with providing her child with a damn name. Sounds like a particular someone. I agree with your point about Javi having his past held against him. I just came from a topic about someone having their childhood held against them. What is up with that? I am flabbergasted at how Hunchback of Dover is constantly absolved of her behavior, especially when it comes to Javi. When she was on the warpath with Jo, his past would be thrown out. I see this happening on certain Facebook pages where people cannot say one thing about Trump without the Hillary references being tossed in to avert the conversation. How about remembering this ogre is an abuser? This ogre is too concerned with being called a name and yet, who was it that has called out POC? This ogre also recently retweeted a comment referring to POC as "n*ggas". Where is the damn outrage against this hag? None. It goes back to Javi.

Well put. The upbringing of these girls has been scrutinized and analyzed many times over. We don't hold Catelynn's upbringing against her. In fact, we have felt pity and sorrow for what she had to endure growing up in that household. She was not in control and is certainly not at fault for the circumstances in which she was born into. Same with Chelsea. She had no control over what her family life and environment was when she was born. One had it rough while the other had it good, although that doesn't mean it was always happy. Chelsea endured pain due to her parent's divorce. Who knows what it was like before they separated. All the money in Randy's bank account can't absolve that pain. Anyone who has ever dealt with divorce can understand how heartbreaking that can be and how it affects the children. Look at poor Isaac and how torn up he was over his mother and step-father getting a divorce. We also don't know how well-off Randy was when his children were young. The man probably worked his ass off to get where he is now. It is easy to look at the picture we see on our television screens, but that doesn't tell us how he got to that point in his life. Maybe there were struggles here and there. Being a dentist doesn't mean you get satchels of money thrown at you. I have a cousin who is a doctor. It took him a long while to get to the point where he can live comfortably out in the country in his beautiful home. It took a lot of hours and sacrifices. I am sure Randy did the same. What I hold against Catelynn is the fact she mirrors many of the same behaviors as April. She is just like April in many ways, except she has money and is not with someone who is physically abusive to her whereas April struggled financially and lived with an addict who was abusive. Catelynn can recognize she has problems, but she chooses not to seek proper help. I will call out Catelynn, Chelsea, Jenelle, and Kail for THEIR choices, not because of how they grew up. I will applaud the growth and maturity of any girl on this series.

Diana, Our Mother: Her Life & Legacy (ITV/HBO)
SPLAIN replied to formerlyfreedom's topic in HBO Documentaries
PBS aired Diana: Her Story. If you can watch it on a repeat or On Demand, I highly recommend it. I watch every royal special that airs on television. I thoroughly enjoy reading about their lives, particularly the ones where some of the people who give insight have had real relationships with members of the royal family. I never get tired of hearing from Diana's former boss, the American lady who she worked for when she was a nanny. I was bothered by Prince Harry's comment that it was his grandfather, Prince Phillip, who somewhat urged him to follow Diana's casket to the church. I don't think it was right for that adult to tell that child, "I will do it, will you?" So much for a child to bear. Having endured such a great loss at a young age, I can't imagine a child having the feeling of duty weigh heavy on them the way it weighed on Harry. -
Is Javi referring to Jenelle having leaked the pregnancy news and then blaming him?

Although I agree with your assessment about love and Kail having a strong hold on Javi with regards to how he behaved, I have to strongly disagree there on that bolded point. Jo didn't move to Dover for laughs and kicks. It is a fact he moved there because his time with his son was precious and valuable. He was tired of the 3 hour drives. He wanted to spend that time with his son, not on the road. Jo was late on a few occasions, which can truly happen to the best of parents with the worst of traffic, especially when leaving work and having to deal with a 3 hour commute. In return, the heifer would turn around and then withhold visitation from Jo. We saw her do just that with Javi during the beginning of the season for the same reason - he was not there at the precise hour they agreed upon. People aren't going to speed through traffic or run red lights like this heifer to get where they need to be. Jo made it clear he would move to the end of the world to where his son was living and that is what made things difficult in Kail's world because she was hoping he would give up and allow her to just go anywhere with the child they share. Jo had a visitation schedule that didn't allow him much time with Isaac. It wasn't what he wanted, but it was what was given to him due to the circumstances that were presented to the court at that time which was he lived in New Jersey and Kail had just moved to Delaware. Kail didn't offer Jo any extra time with Isaac. Now, she is giving him that extra time only because it suits her to have free babysitting on a whim.

We all knew. I am sure Barb knew as well. Barb is the one who has to prove it to the courts. By the time court hearings are held, that is enough time for Jenelle to get her system cleaned. Barb and her attorney had to know this and why she likely had to wait until Jenelle was caught. Sad, but that is how the courts work.

WHAT THE HELL???? I need bleach! Girl has no shame. At least Farrah got paid for flaunting her body. When you are flaunting this butt in a cheap ass club, and giving your ass away to losers, you can't cry foul. Briana, you should be damn ashamed and embarrassed. LMAO
-
Executive Master of Business Administration The whole invitation is not in correct form. It reads loving families. Not sure who that is referencing since I wouldn't actually reference them as a family, much less loving.
-
Briana is pissed at Luis for cheating on her. He is now pissed off at her for having an ex-boyfriend over her baby shower. Twisted immature assholes. The way I see it, Luis wasn't in a relationship with Briana. Why then is he all upset about an ex boyfriend being there at the shower? It was crass and vulgar on Briana's part to even invite an ex boyfriend there for a baby shower. Hunchback can miss me with her need to take her boys to class. Her knee-jerk reaction to Javi's comment shows what an immature twat she is. She calls at the last minute asking if Javi or his mother is available to babysit. How about paying someone to be there on call? She dares to call out Javi for having his family babysit but she is there doing exactly the same thing. Entitled twat.

Diners, Drive-Ins And Dives - General Discussion
SPLAIN replied to Meredith Quill's topic in Diners, Drive-Ins And Dives
We have visited several places that were featured on DDD. Every single person who owned the businesses all said the same nice things about Guy. I kept expecting someone to just spill something about him that wasn't not-so nice. He even made two appearances in our area for two segments in two different seasons. I had planned to show up to check out the filming but, I had to work and wasn't able to make it on time. One of our first places to visit was this joint in Las Vegas. It was a dive that Guy visited often when he was in college nearby, I believe. Great food! -
This reminds me of Chris Rock's joke about Biggie and Tupac not being assassinated, "Them two ***** were shot!" Versace was a prominent person in the industry.

My professional experience is with victims of DV and other related crimes. My comment was more directed at the fact that Kail hasn't fazed you much, especially with all that she has done. Whenever anyone resorts to claiming to be a victim of DV when it is in fact false, I take that seriously. Her criminal behavior has truly bothered me since the first time she put hands on Jo (which MTV conveniently edited out). I wish MTV would phase her out of this life of six-figure living along with the rest of the cast and just shut the damn door on this series.
-
I saw it as well. Color me shocked that UBT hasn't discarded it. Or thrown it at Jenelle.
-
You think? Kail drives around without a seat belt even when she was pregnant, her eyes are constantly on her phone while she drives, she texts while driving, and she violates all kinds of rules of the road. Putting innocent drivers on the road in harm's way and putting fake restraining orders on her boys' fathers while claiming they are committing criminal acts upon her was when she earned the title of worst human being ever. She is right at the top with Jenelle. Kail taking her children to school just makes her boorish and crass. Please Jo, take that boar to court and modify that custody order.

Jenelle is so happy when the kids aren't around.

I think the poster was just being snarky and a bit facetious about the swear jar. Sometimes humor is interjected around these parts particularly when discussing serious matters. As for it just being a word, it is depending on the circumstances and the context in which it is being used. When it comes to Jenelle and UBT, it seems to be a word that is used under many circumstances and it is thrown out there with such ease, that I find it uncomfortable knowing how often it is used when the cameras are not there and when their children are not behaving in a perfect manner. I see how easily frustrated Jenelle and UBT get when it comes to dealing with the children and the times they act up. @Rebecca's post is a perfect example of what I am trying to convey. I know that is exactly what is happening in the Eason house with those kids. Those kids won't know not to use those crude words because the parents say those words frequently and constantly. Pretty soon, Jace, Maryssa, Kaiser will be saying those words when they get mad, frustrated, impatient, or sad. ETA: I just remembered a scene where Jenelle was talking to Jace because he was using swear words at school. A very eye-rolling scene as the person who uses swear words all the time in front of her kids, is telling her kid he shouldn't be cussing. That would be fine in a normal situation or a normal family home. However, David and Jenelle's abode is far from normal and their use of cuss words is inappropriate under most circumstances and IMO it is not about differentiating as much as pointing out the obvious which is, two so-called adults are talking and yelling while using crude and profane language in the company of children and surely are using that same language at the children.
-
Of course. That is a whole other topic that can be discussed in length if we had more information on the rest of the girls. I just don't know much about the rest of the siblings to even go to that length of a discussion. It is just fragments. In technical terms, these girls were adults. Chelsea, the one on the show, was not an adult. I also don't believe it is a black and white issue where the parents are automatically at fault if females in one family all have children before the age of 21. It is just too convoluted. The whole wedlock thing, I am not on board with that kind of thinking.

That land. Each time I read it here or hear those two douchebags say "The Land" I can't help but think of the Woody Guthrie song "This Land is your Land." I tweaked with the lyrics just for Jenelle. I am not lyricist. I am no damn songwriter. I just threw this together. Maybe if I smoke pot, I might come up with something way better: "This land is your land, this land is my land From the Carolinas, to the dirty swamp land From the swampy forest, to my manufactured home This land was paid for by only me As I was walking through the forest I saw above me that endless sky Suddenly I saw an axe come down on me This land is now my forever grave"

Thanks Scarlett. Geez. I was expecting to read all of them had become pregnant at the tender ages of 13, 14 or even 16. They were all adults with the exception of Chelsea. Are they supposed to be married first before having intercourse? I am surely not bothered in the least that they were not married before having children. I don't believe marriage is required. I am lost as to what it was two parents are supposed to do when they have adult children who are of legal age to do whatever it is they want. It sounds like with the exception of Chelsea and the one sibling, the others were in relationships. People do have sex. People who plan to be committed down the road do tend to have sex and they may not always use protection because the trust, faith, and love already exists. I'd be pretty damn upset if my parents had tried to get me to be on birth control when I was a legal adult. That is my damn business! As for Chelsea, even though she was a minor at the time, her body is her body and if she chose to be on birth control pills instead of something else, that is her business as well. To be honest, I don't remember what form of BC she used. Chelsea has mentioned having severe issues with her periods. That may have played a part in what kind of birth control she used. When I was a teen and I was taken to get birth control, I was given the options of what I wanted. The doctor didn't ask my mom what I wanted. He asked ME. He proceeded to inform my parent of my choice and she was okay with it. My parent did ask about the side effects of the various birth control options, but overall, she felt whatever I wanted was my choice. This was back in the ancient days.

Jenelle had no residence or place to call her own when she was a junkie. So how could Barb drop off Jace to Jenelle's when she was living in a car? What happened was, Jenelle dropped by every so often at Barb's home and played it off as if she wanted to see Jace. The reality was, Jenelle was only there to pick up her checks that she was receiving from supposedly going to school. Jenelle kept stopping by and asking for those checks because she and Kieffer were desperate for cash. Barb finally told her she had sent them back because Jenelle no longer lived there.
