  1. I'm on s05e02 right now. I had forgotten that building a wall to Mexico was a big thing in season 4. Earily clairvoyant. Ofcourse Lucille would love the idea of having Mexico pay for it. In general this season is already so much better than season 4. This show lives from it's character interactions and even though this far we only had two characters at a time together, it was for extended periods, which really worked.
  2. Omg, FBI boss lady is working for Fisk?! What a twist! Who could have seen that coming?! Except everybody because that was the most obvious thing ever from episode one. She was waaay too nice and supportive. For once I want a jerk or even just somebody well rounded to turn out to be the bad guy. They try so hard to throw us off the trail, they highlight it like crazy.
  3. This show continues to move at break neck pace. Every other show would have milked at least a season out of the soul-squating on earth. Not this show. Like two episodes and we are out. I love it. I mean Mindy got her medium place, since the good and bad place people fought over her. Also there are good palce Janets, so the good place has to exist. But the point system seems to be increadibly scewed. Maybe it wasn't always that way though, maybe the demons messed with it at some point.
  4. That was by far my favourite part of the episode. That Randy was just supposed to be some dried up cum on Stan's grandmas tits, but she stuck her finger up grandpas ass. Classic. Satan has always been a great helpfull guy, if sometimes too obediant in his relationships. Sadam Hussein was not a great influence on him. But even then Satans real motivation was just to get to our world to see Babies and flowers and stuff. He's a big softie. Anyway, Satan is really my favourite character on this show. I hope we'll get to see him again, soon. I mean he won't be able to stand heaven for long, with all the Mormons bothering him. But "Dead Celebrities" was seasons afterwards and they all went to hell. Well, Jesus has a track record of resurrecting. I don't think Satan has. But god could certainly resurrect him. Those two are old friends afterall.
  5. If I could have replaced any appearence of Negan last season with Tara, I would have in a heartbeat. Not saying Tara is great, just saying there is so much worse on this show.
  6. She "had to" amputate? It was "the only way to stop the bleeding"? The pain meds "wouldn't kick in in time?! WTF. That arm looked gnarly, but it was barely bleeding. Make a tourniquet and pump the guy full of morphine before you amputate something for gods sake. It's not like you have to be scared of tissue damage if you are going to amputate anyway.
  7. Guy goes to free a horse from a wagon because a zombie horde is coming. We see a wide shot of him slashing at the connection. There are no zombies to be seen. Next is a closeup of him being bit in the Arm by a Zombie. Damn teleporting Zombies! Its a plow, not rocket science. If you really can't figure it out, charge a phone on a genrator or solar panels and take a photo. Hydroculture isn't easy. You need to mix a precise amount of nutrients into the water to not kill those plants. It's easy if you can just buy those nutrients and dose as written on the bottle, but it's almost impossible to do diy. Also marijuana is a pretty easy plant to grow. There is a reason why people have grown plants in dirt and not just water for milennia. Not sure what their problem with that is though.
  8. It was a pretty hairbrain scheme. Couldn't she just have said that the daughter was born second? Problem solved. Pretty much called it when she was named as the mother of demons in episode 5. I was wondering that too. Would be interesting if she ended the show as the High Priest. Well, it's doubtfull that she and aunt Hilda alone could have held the door the whole witching hour. And Lilith sure as hell wasn't going to help. So she had to do something. Also her three best friends were outside of the protection. To be fair, most men on this show don't come off great either...
  9. So I was right that Michelle Gomez is Lilith. Neat. Killing the principle was par for the course, but killing her familiar? That's cold, man. The rest was okay. Kinda predictable. I don't think the cliffhanger is very cliffhangery. Sabrina will be hanging wwith her mortal friends again by the end of episode 1 of seaosn 2.
  10. Aunt Hilda is pretty awesome with her truth telling abilities. I wouldn't want to get on her bad side. Although I kinda would have liked to see a different reaction from the bully. After aunt Hilda said "get out or do you want me to tell everybody?". I would have liked it if he had broken down crying and said "yes! please!". I don't know, it's probably less realistic, but what is realistic on this show and after the story about how he tried to tell everybody when he was a boy and nobody would believe him, I'm sure a big part of him still wants the truth to be known.
  11. I seriously hope for them that witches have some supernatural immunities because that just seems to be begging for a bunch of illnesses. Human (and presumably witch) flesh is nasty.
  12. Aunt Zelda mentioned it at the breakfast table beforehand. But easy to miss, I guess.
  13. I'm torn. I love me my Michelle Gomez being deliciously evil, but I'd also love if gay guys wouldn't be killed in shows all the time. Plus it would have been nice for Susie to have an uncle who can understand her in some way. Also seemed kinda unnecessary from a character standpoint to kill him. Why would Probablylilith waste time and energy on going back and killing him? Probably something about a half witch, half mortal who will have the power to cast out demons and bring about the end of the world, yada, yada, yada.
  14. I love that everybody went through horrific torture, except Zelda whose worst fear seems to be that the Dark Lord might like Hilda's cooking better than her's. XD Well at least at first. Turns out the real torture was Hilda being dead. Also loved that Michelle Gomez got more to do this episode. She is the perfect fit for the mother demons (I guess Lilith). So weird and otherworldly.
  15. That was established in the pilot. we actually saww him in goblin-form for a moment.
  16. I'm about as atheistic as they come and I don't see anything wrong with this. it's a fictional universe where Satan actually exists, so it stands to reason that god does, too and if god has a claim on your soul, Satan can't have it. I have more of a problem with the fact that other people can sign over your soul. That's generally not how christianity works. Even baptised babies aren't full members of the church yet. Also nobody said that another diety can't have a claim on your soul. Maybe if Yama has a claim on your soul, Satan can't have it either. Same goes for Supernatural. Up to the end of season 5 that show was amazing. Sadly fell off a cliff after.
  17. I assume it will turn out to be a huge scam. That witches have these powers naturally and Satan just tricked them into his service. He is the prince of lies, afterall. That would also explain why witches already have their powers before the dark baptism.
  18. Did not know this was a dark retelling of Sabrina the teenage witch. What a pleasent surprise. I screemed at my screen when they killed Michelle Gomez. You don't give me Michealle Gomez and then take her away right away! But then the witch turned into her and it was okay. Still, I think it would have been more fun and surprising if Michelle Gomez would have been the evil witch from the beginning and the girl her helpless victim. Also would have made more sense. I mean who takes somebody seemingly traumatised and potentially injured home and not to the ER? I haven't quite figured out when this is supposed to be set. The esthetic is very 80s maybe even earlier. The cars, the cinema, the clothes, the house, the school. But the language is very modern and Sabrinas cousin had a Laptop... So I guess it has to be modern day.
  19. Why can't any TV writers give the poor gays a break? First they all get the god damn loch ness monster and then they get blown up by terrorists.
  20. Nice to see Alex back. Still hope we'll find out what that gun shot was all about.
  21. So Martin's father had no other motivation than being a complete dumbass for almost turning europe into glass. The writing on this show sometimes... Also he just got demoted for omitting crucial details from reports and thus almost causing WW3? Wow, the soviets are really forgiving these days. I'm afraid that we might never find out what happened to Alex and his family. The story might just not go there this season, or ever again. I hope it does. Last seasons vliffhanger would be a horrible thing to end on. It will take a while for me to get used to Anke Engelke as a hard hitting numbers-woman who wants to recapitalize the DDR, seeing that she is usually in comedic roles, being one of the best comedians out there. The capetown escapades weren't that great. Still love the characters. but the story is a bit lackluster.
  22. This really lacked explaination as to why Martin's father wanted to turn the whole of germany into glass. Or are we to believe that he really was that dumb? I hope Alex isn't dead. Guess I'm not going to bed anytime soon. Will have to watch the next episode first.
  23. Seeing the historical footage on TV spliced in just highlights how very few people on this show have time period apropriate hair styles. "The americans" did a lot better with this, if you exclude Kerri Russel. I don't think he's Stasi. The Stasi was the internal covert agency of the DDR. He should be HVA. And yes, I think he's Martins father. I mean they were stretching it anyway. That nobody missed the real Moritz for this long seems a bit far fetched. If our home country is about to be wiped out by a nuclear attack, wouldn't you try anything to prevent that, even if the odds are increadibly bad?
  24. God damn Loch Ness monster! Wondering why the guy in the HVA is supressing part of the dossier and so doing tries to provoke a nuclear war. He better have damn good reasons that include a death wish.
  25. The writing is still uneven and contrived in places. Yet, the overall story is solid. So I'm in for the long haul now. Always love me some gay shit. Never love all the mentions of the god damn Loch Ness Monster, but it's the early 80s, no way around it. Alex does still act like a teenager, but that probably is in character when growwing up with such an overbearing father, who you can't even escape when you go to work.
