  1. Oh the challenge both Omar and Karla outlasted the tide.
  2. It does seem almost TOO easy that they're telegraphing who's going home this early. But at the same time, it was silly that these players weren't realizing that Carson/Caroline/Yam Yam was a strong three they needed to split up. So maybe the vote really will be that easy tonight.
  3. I'm glad that Caroline refuses to tell anyone she has an idol because I never understand why players share their advantage. Also, Danny's annoying. Dude is pulling a Lex obsessing over one damn vote.
  4. Yeah but he rightfully pointed out to her that she lied to him once before, which she was quick to point out was one time. And so Yam Yam rightly threw back at her, "okay, well this is the one time from us."
  5. I like Caroline but she is being unreasonably emotional about this. Frannie was a threat and Yam Yam and Carson left her out of the vote because she made it clear she was NOT going to vote for Frannie.
  6. Yeah it was definitely a smart move based on how strong a player Frannie was in individual challenges (plus she was likable, making her a very big threat if she got to the end) but it sucks that Danny continues to feel like he's running the game.
  7. I assume he means Jeremy who won Second Chances.
  8. Well I'm pretty sure he's not allowed to give anything away. The jury have to be silent observers as they aren't allowed to influence the game anymore until the finral tribal council.
  9. Doubtful, since I'm sure he knows everything happening in the game.
  10. While the Danny blindside would be the best in my opinion since he's way too cocky right now in the game, blindsiding Heidi would be the next best thing because it would mean Danny doesn't get what he wants and it would send a message to him that no, he's NOT running things.
  11. No, she wasn't but like poor sweet Jaime, they decided Heidi was lying when she said Danny said he didn't need her vote (which he did). And I guess I can see why that was suspicious to them because Heidi and Danny have seemed so close and voting together.
  12. Did Danny just tell Heidi he doesn't even need her vote but then at the same time claims she's his number 1?
  13. Ah you know Carson was going to kill it at the puzzles. Probably praticed this one too.
  14. Lordy, Caroline is always lost as hell in these challenges.
  15. Aww sweet, sweet naive Jaime. Chile, no one believes this poor woman. But why didn't anyone ask Lauren? Wouldn't she know Jaime is telling the truth? Unless she never saw Jaime give the fake idol to Kane.
  16. Oh the irony, because poor Jaime is telling the truth. But now they're going to go back to wanting her out, since they think she came up with this elaborate lie. Also hilarious because Jaime's idol that she doesn't have anymore wasn't even a real idol anyway.
  17. Carson has his annoying moments but for the most part, he doesn't really bug me. Yam Yam has a few funny soundbites but there's definitely a massive entitlement with him that's annoying.
  18. Ah, the "pick people to go with you on reward" but really, possibly expose alliances. I wonder if Frannie's only picking other women will make Danny and company feel a potential "all female alliance" may be coming and convince them to go for one of the ones on reward. Danny has been thirsting to get Lauren out for awhile now.
  19. Damn, Frannie is proving to be a challenge beast.
  20. That was actually a smart play on Carson's part - to throw Kane, who's gone anyway and can't deny his lie, under the bus and so explain why he voted the way he did but keep Jaime close. And looks like she bought it. That said, I still think we're heading to an eventual Carson blindside as all the players realize he has too many "friends" and so would be hard to beat at the end.
  21. I literally only started watching this series two weeks ago because my friend could not stop gushing about the super amazing recent episode in Season 4 (so obviously I'm not there yet) and so I decided to finally give the series a shot. I have to agree with the quoted that this is the episode that finally truly got my attention. The previous episodes were fine but I would find that I'd watch it and then have no desire to quickly watch the next episode. This one made me binge the next two episodes after it almost immediately. I definitely agree about Logan coming off less as some master business expert who out-maneovred his son versus a a loud and aggressive bully that intimidated most of the board into sticking with him. It's why I definitely appreciated the black woman who stood up to him, however brief it was. That said, I read all the comments and didn't see anyone mention where Kendall really screwed up. It wasn't going to Long Island because yes, he got IIona to give him her vote once he spoke to her. It's that there would have been no reason for him to go had he not called her daughter or neice (whoever the young woman was). If we recall, when he suggested calling her, Frank told him it wasn't a good idea, that it might tip her off that something was up. But he did it anyway and it seemed like the daughter or whoever, as Frank noted, knew something was up and spoke to IIona who then was adamant that she would be calling into the meeting. Because she took Kendall's random, out of nowhere call as an obvious sign that he DIDN'T want her on the call. And that's what caused him to have to fly down to Long Island to smooth that mess over. I will say that I didn't blame the two guys who abstained their votes. Both of these guys have made it clear they have no loyalty to any of these people and in the one guy case, he's been clear he pretty much hates that whole damn family. From their perspective, I could see where they just figured it was better to not jump in the fray as the whole thing was shaping up to be a shit show. On the one hand is the aging bully who probably needs to step down but the option is the son who's kind of an insecure mess who can't even be present for his own coup attempt.
  22. Yes, yes he was. I had a massive fangirl crush on Gavin back then. Half my love for Bush's music was just because Gavin was so hot, lol (okay, their music was good too). And despite my crush, I didn't even hate when he and Gwen started dating (as is customary in fandoms for hot famous guys - to hate the woman they're dating) because in my opinion, Gwen was the coolest chick back then so that pairing just made sense. That completely unrelated note aside, I binged this documentary only this past weekend so I know I'm coming in a bit late with my thoughts. I will say that there wasn't anything revealed in the documentary that I didn't already know about from years of reading articles and hot takes about the event and even reading about the backlash back when it happened. It was interesting watching the clips because as a millenial, I was 16/17 when this happened back in 1999 and I actually remembered watching all the performances from the comfort of my couch. I don't know if anyone remembers this music station called The Box, but they aired the whole thing. I don't know if it was a bootleg stream or what but I just know I saw many of my favorite acts, all again, from the comfort of my couch. And yes, that means I unfortunately saw ALL of Flea live and in color as it happened. My couch was the closest I was ever going to get to that mess, because even back then, teenage me found NOTHING appealing about music festivals. I don't like crowds, I don't like people in my personal space, I don't do slumming - so I always need a proper bed and shower and clean toilet facilities, etc. So nope, no ma'am. This was a hard pass for me. What's also funny to me is that I remember leaving and coming back to watch the acts I cared about and ignoring the ones I didn't. And I swear, all the ones highlighted in the documentary as ones the crowd went insane for were acts I completely ignored - Korn, Limp Bizkit and Kid Rock for sure. I watched the Limp Bizkit segment just thinking the whole time, "and all this over a basic asf group with an even more basic asf lead singer." Fred Durst was such a mediocre artist to me back then and even more so now. But I guess as many have pointed out - unfortunately it was part of that dochebro culture that existed at the time. I was amused at the end of the documentary when the note said there was no plans to revive another Woodstock - because like why? Aside from the epic disaster that was the 1999 mess, Woodstock '99 funny enough helped inspire and usher in Coachella. So what would be the point of ever doing another faux Woodstock when Coachella exists. This was definitely the result of piss poor planning and management, greed and the culture of the time. And all of these factors combined to result in a complete and utter shitshow.

Serena is expecting baby no.2 She debuted her baby bump at tonight’s MET Gala. Well she did say expanding her family was just one of the things she was looking forward to post-retirement.
  24. Matt's hair seems to growing by multiple sizes every tribal council.
  25. Definitely not sure how this will go. Because the Ratu 3 are thinking of splitting the votes for either Danny or Heidi. Soka wants to split for Kane and to flush out Jamie's fake idol. And no clue what side Tika is going with so any one of Danny, Kane, Heidi or Jamie coud be eliminated.
