  1. At least they get credit for the birds they do get right, and don't have to start from the beginning.
  2. I'm loving all the extra little route tasks. Reminds me of old school TAR as well as some of the best international versions.
  3. These are 2 equivalent detour tasks, and I don't understand why anyone would want to lug bricks over flowers!
  4. Yeah, I don't get why anyone would vote for them. Their first place was a fluke.
  5. I don't understand the voting rules. After all the votes for Kaleb were nullified and Jeff called for a revote. But all he said was that Kaleb didn't have a vote. Couldn't everyone just have voted for Kaleb again? Also, significant number of variations on how to spell Kaleb.
  6. Then it would be like all the other cooking shows, and not GBBO.
  7. I think they did give them 2 hr 45 minutes.
  8. I'm going to give Jocelyn and Victor (and all of the other teams, too) a bit of a pass on the sniping. Their "day" started before 5:30 am the previous day and it's now probably at least 30 hours later during which they've had only snatches of sleep while catching multiple taxis, an airplane flight, boat rides and a bus ride. There's a lot of "hurry up and wait" that's tiring beyond the tasks themselves. For the people that were on the first 2 flights, did anyone say where they slept? Hotel room or somewhere in the street? (Perhaps that's not allowed there.) I miss them looking for cheap hotels and hostels. As to how the 5:45 ticket got mixed in with the 6:15 tickets, I could have sworn I saw someone move it, but on rewatch I can't confirm it. A couple of the early teams who got 5:45 tickets did play around with the other bins, though, so I think that's what happened. I don't think it was accidental or intentional on the part of the Race.
  9. I'm really surprised at all the people who made savory breads. I would have gone for the cranberry/walnut bread in a heartbeat.
  10. So Michael hasn't eaten in 26-27-28 days? That's bad. That's indicative of a bad location, too. These people should at least have a chance to survive. I don't understand why all the locations are inlets with all these snags and dead trees. When you see the rescue boat, it's churning it's way through a lovely river.
  11. I'm trying to understand that announcement. It sounds like 5 episodes will drop in November and then the last 5 in December. Is that right?
  12. The first couple of seasons they had to search for competitors, because it was a new show. Now, if I understand correctly, they get tens of thousands of submissions.
  13. On a side note, next Wednesday my PBS station is showing a Nature episode about a man who studies the platypus in Tasmania. The episode is Nature S42:E1 and is titled "The Platypus Guardian". PBS schedules can vary by area, so you may have to search for it if you're interested.
  14. He did say pit stop though. No roadblock? Easy judge on the rice paper
  15. When I saw Phil on the scooter, I thought the task choices might be Paper or Paper.
  16. I saw them tossing fruit on the previews during Survivor and thought they were showing a scene from last week!
