I think the first grouping makes the most sense. This way we are voting for favourite version of each of the boys, without getting into Sam v Dean.
-
Oh for fuck's sake. Another change of heart by Lizzie about Red. Oh boo hoo, Red didn't tell you the whole truth, like that's the first time that's happened. But this time it's unforgivable, except we all know she'll change her mind again the next time she needs Reds help, which is, as always, constantly.

Fanboy!Winchesters were so cute. Sam stuttering around his first crush and Dean awkwardly introducing himself to his hero made me smile. And Dean playing around in the ring was totally adorable. I felt the crossroads demon altering his deal with the wrestler was a good way to show that the demons are going rogue and Hell is going to hell without anyone really being in charge. I don't think Crowley would have allowed an underling to be quite so independent. But I do cry foul on the boys rushing in to fight a demon, yet again, without any obvious plan, and getting telekinetically thrown around, yet again, and having to be saved by someone else. After so many similar fights, by now they would have a more effective tactic than run in and hope for the best.
-
Wow, that's a lot of "altered" Winchesters. I didn't realize how many times the boys weren't all together themselves. Based on BlueMeanie's list (stellar work there Blue!) it seems there's enough for three games. Altered Sam, Altered Dean, and Altered everyone else.
-
Gah, yes. Slash Fiction. I'm not sure if they are included, given that they are not an altered version of the boys, they are completely separate entities impersonating Sam and Dean. I'm okay either way, but just thought I'd put that out there.
-
Because we really can't overthink this too much, what about the fake Leviathan Sam and Leviathan Dean from Pulp Fiction?
-
Okay, writers. You need to stop pretending that Dean Winchester doesn't look like Jensen Ackles, and that any age appropriate heterosexual female would not be hitting that as hard and often as possible if the opportunity presented itself. Some (delusional) teenage girls might think Dean is too old, but none would never be disgusted by him, (most would have massive crushes on him) and I'm tired of all the episodes that make "jokes" about it. And in this ep, well, I cannot now, nor ever will, be able to suspend my disbelief that he would be turned down either for NOT having a "Dad Bod", because have you seen his face, or because he HAS a "Dad Bod", because Dean Winchester does not now, nor has ever had, a "Dad Bod". And now I'm never going to use the phrase "Dad Bod" ever again. The ep itself was fine, nothing to hate, and a bit to love. The boys were adorable doing the rock paper scissors, and I liked the conversation between them at the end about Amara, and how honest they both were.

Well if that's the result when the contestants are challenged to do a real person makeup, no wonder they go for monster and aliens so often. All of the make ups looked fake to me, with the top two being the least offensive, but that's damning with faint praise. All of the bottom looks were send you home worthy, though they eliminated the right one. How anyone could look at even just that ridiculous facial hair and think his look is acceptable is beyond me. If he was that delusional about the quality (or lack thereof) of his work, there was no chance he could do well in the competition anyway.

While I'm iffy on the acting and some of the singing, I can't fault the production values and camera work. The group dance to "Rock and Roll Is Here to Stay" was impressive. Although it would have been way more entertaining if someone had crashed into a camera. Because that's why I'm watching live, right?

Hey, 7kstar, good vibes and positive thoughts for you, your Dad and sister, and all of your family. I hope the recovery process goes well.

I really liked the inspiration of languages for this challenge. Yay for something that forced the contestants to really think how to create a creature who would be able to make those sounds. Boo to another team challenge, though. That's three in a row now, and I'm ready to see what each of them can do on their own. Both top looks were good, and the headpiece was so well done I have no problem with the winner. The bottom looks were just so terrible and any of the four could have been sent home for it. The painting on the frog was truly ugly and the squid was exactly that, a squid head on a man. Poorly done.

I really liked this episode. The "victims" of the week were smart, funny and courageous, and also saved the boy's rather tantalizing asses. (which are indeed very cute as they walk away, but still aren't a match for the pretty on the front.) Sam apologizing for not looking for Dean when he went to Purgatory was good, as was Dean's "already forgiven" response. Casifer was amusing, and is clearly going to fuck with Dean somehow, in order to lure Amara into a trap. And thanks to the poster above for the screencap of Dean pocketing the Viagra. I missed that little gem during the broadcast. I loved the boys mentioning Blaze of Glory, as I have been advocating for years that song is perfect for the show, but was terribly disappointed they didn't actually play it. Booooo! Mildred's open and unashamed hitting on Dean was funny, but in a good natured, not in a mocking the old lady, way. Loved her telling the deaf hunter she could have the tall one because Mildred wasn't a mountain climber and offering to move her hand further up Dean's leg. Dean should have hit that. I bet she could show him a thing or two and give him a night to remember. And our oh so celibate Sam should have asked for some "private lessons" in sign language from the pretty hunter, if ya know what I mean. She looked like she was willing to gear up and go scale Mount Sammy.

Good vibes and positive thoughts heading out to you and your family Mick Lady. Cancer sucks, and is so scary, but try not to be overwhelmed by the fear. There's a lot of people, both real and online, pulling for you.

Nicholas Lea was in "Time After Time" on Supernatural as a 1940's FBI agent. In a more relevant comment, I'm sure we'll get more information about the current status of Mulder and Scully's relationship and how it got there dribbled out over the next five episodes. There was enough of an exposition dump in this episode regarding the new conspiracy that took priority.
-
It's great to have one of my all time favourite shows back again. Was the first ep of season 10 (ten! Who have thunk it??!) great? No. Did I love it anyway? Yep. Big time. Loved Scully, loved Mulder, loved Skinner. Hell, I even loved seeing CSM smoking away again. With Mulder's new theory about a human conspiracy using alien technology replacing that impenetrably convoluted alien war arc from the last few seasons of the show, Carter has rather efficiently and (mostly) believably hit the reset button and returned the game pieces to their starting position. Woot!

Well, in news of the great flood of 2016, we have a lot of both bad and good. The insurance adjustor (and our insurance company) have been problematic, but the emergency clean up/demolition guys have been great. The worst of the clean up should be done by Monday, but it will take weeks or months for the repairs and renos to be complete. A number of individual computer hard drives are kaput, but the servers and other major equipment are okay. We have no flooring, but everyone has an office, desk and computer to work at. And when all is said and done, it's just stuff, and mostly replaceable. Everyone's okay, and we'll manage. So say we all.
-
Aw shit Micklady. Sending good hopeful vibes your way. Don't be a stranger during your treatment if you can help it as us posters can maybe be both supportive and distracting.
-
Thanks for the warm fuzzies, y'all. We just have to wait now to see what's salvageable. And if the equipment will be ok to use on Monday. Arrrrgh.
-
I'm most devastated personally by the potential loss of my office furniture. It was hand made by my partners father in law before he died and is irreplaceable. And all my shoes!!!! I keep a small shoe store under my desk and they are most definitely toast. And my court robes are ruined too. I have to keep reminding my self it could be worse, because it might not have been discovered until Monday.
-
We have back up off site and some employees can work from home. Some of the offices are okay but it's so humid we can't tell yet if the electrical will be ok. Thank gods for insurance and the emergency restoration services. And to our computer guy who is slaving as we speak to get the hardware replaced and the system up and running. I can't believe how much damage the water caused. It's even worse on the floor below. Ugh!
-
Holy suckfest y'all. A pipe burst at my office sometime last night. Massive flood. Files are sodden piles of unreadable garbage. The lobby was a swamp. The computers are toast. I'm so bummed out. We don't know yet if we'll even be able to open Monday. Fuck.

How Excited Should We Really Get About This Report Of A Deadwood Movie?
Iguana replied to Primetimer's topic in Deadwood [V]
If I may simply quote myself from August 13, 2015: So, I will not get excited about this news. It's just another HBO trolling.
