  1. Right now Lee is the poster girl example for "how to make a character completely unlikable." As it stands I don't even find her attractive, and that takes a special circle of Hell level of creativity.
  2. I think Ed looks fantastic in his bowler hat. If there's anything I can't fault Gotham for in the least it's their wardrobe design.
  3. You're right, I'm not sure either.
  4. There's a picture with Jim and Harvey with the same red light.
  5. I wonder if Bruce will go Happy Tree Friends on us.
  6. Woodruff is the guy speaking for the show most often these days, I think. It's just a hunch but I believe Heller has lost interest or been outmaneuvered. The Ivy thing was contradictory to his philosophy.
  7. Ken Woodruff was also the go-to guy for defending the atrocious Ivy recast. From all I have gathered he's a negative influence on the show.
  8. The Monday competition was already furious. Thursday puts it up against heavily female-skewing shows, TBBT and a weaker football lineup. I don't really think it'll hurt from it, but The Orville might be a dud.
  9. At this point I just really want them to go out with a bang on season three. There's been a lot of really good setup these last episodes, and I'd hate for the show to fumble the ball. This especially since I don't think the endings of either season one or two were very well-crafted, while there were great episodes in both.
  10. It's one thing that Jim has been generally unsympathetic and often really dumb throughout the show, but Lee has been a total jerk ever since she returned in season three. So I said this in my review, but basically, she returns to Gotham with her new fiancé, returns to her old job at Jim's workplace, forcefully inserts herself into his life, constantly trolls him for affection including visiting him the day before the wedding to make out with him to "say goodbye", thereby provoking Mario's jealous rage. Then she has the gall to whine that Mario gets in the way of the crazy daily life of the GCPD and ends up a victim, thoroughly blaming it on Jim and taking zero personal responsibility. The only real bonehead moment by Jim in all of that was confessing his love for her at her wedding day. That wasn't very smooth.
  11. Really fractured episode but the good craft involved made it palatable. http://www.douxreviews.com/2017/05/gotham-light-wick.html
  12. They know she's... "divisive", to say the least. She'll only be around for a little while, I think - basically to assist Ozzie in his game of supervillain Pokemon.
  13. Thanks, Blackcanary. I'm going into lockdown mode now. I won't read your advance review and I won't watch any promos. :-) (Maybe not the best result for traffic, but hey ho, I gotta be honest! ;)

  15. FIXED IT! Thank God... http://www.douxreviews.com/2017/04/gotham-how-riddler-got-his-name.html Formatting and additional pictures should be done by tonight. That was a real scare.
  16. Done. Doux Reviews: How The Riddler Got His Name
  17. So, this is the episode where Thomas pushes Selina out the window, I presume.
  18. No, "person" is even worse, it's not emphasizing the "individual" aspect. Don't get me wrong, "snowflake" is actually a better answer to me.
  19. ... no. The rationale of that scene came in the former scene with Edward and Oswald. As Edward said, "a good riddle reveals the asker. To solve it is to solve the mystery of the person asking it." Edward didn't just want a person answering it, he wanted him answering it as he would have. He wanted a nemesis who understood him.
  20. Wasn't counting on this episode taking so long to review. It'll be a huge wall of text...
  21. I'm betting on Selina finding out Bruce isn't Bruce, and the clone pushing her out the window to cover it up.
  22. Well, every single prediction I made for this episode came through. So that was, yeah, predictable. Very well acted though. Although part of it didn't make sense and one major thing fell flat. This episode was called "How the Riddler Got His Name". I was expecting a explanation a bit more mesmerizing than, "well, he decided to call himself that."
