  1. Carolina's jumps are so awkward. Especially her double axel. Its one of the easier jumps, and she just sticks out her leg really weird.
  2. Wow, this canadian skater is falling all over the place.
  3. I really don't get people complaining about Carrie making toast. Its really only the second time she's make toast. Also its not like she originally was going to make a toast. Joe taking her pork really screwed a lot of things Carrie could do (and its a quickfire).
  4. OMG, don't even compare Joe to the one trick pony that is Josh. Joe has a ton of up and downs, but he is way better than Josh. That's the dude put bacon in very single dish. They did a sushi quickfire and Josh essentially turned his sushi into a bacon eggmcmuffin. Probably the most untalented final 3 contestant in the history of survivor.
  5. How did the Canadian skater get 2nd? Her jumps are so awkward. Her spins seem really slow as well. I don't know how her artistry was that good.
  6. I'm pretty sure its not Olcay or Jan. The mole would not try to sabotage the puzzle the way Olcay did. That was not discreet whatsoever. Also, I feel like the mole would actually be using the paint rollers, it would be hard to sabotage without them. Olcay's reaction of Reuben being the treasurer cracks me up. Thought of some mole clues. I noticed the episode before where they were playing the yes/no game with art. Art would ask certain people, "Are you willing to get rid of _____?" I noticed that Simone and Stine's named never got mentioned. Is it because they never will get eliminated since they are the mole? And it doesn't seem like it was just a random person (Reuben's name was asked twice). I also wonder if anyone knows the history of any famous moles or spies in a particular country (Georgia, Azerbijan, Armenia etc.) Just because it would be cool clue for the mole to start in one of those 5 countries.
  7. Yeah, but that's the thing, he wasn't even tossing the mac & cheese in cornstarch. For tofu, that is true do dip it, to make sure everything sticks on to it. Or you put the pieces of tofu in a bowl filled with cornstarch and stir it together. It looked like he just randomly sprinkled on top of the mac & cheese, so it wasn't evenly coated. There was scattered white blotches on parts of the mac & cheese.
  8. I also realized something with the fried mac & cheese. Noticed that Joe quickly sprinkled cornstarch on the mac & cheese, which I found odd. I've never really seen that for frying in general. Shouldn't Joe make a cornstarch slurry or batter and dip the mac & cheese pieces in it then fry it? The only thing I've seen dry sprinkle for frying are for korean wings. But when you do that, you dip the wings in the corn starch powder (and squeeze it with your hand, so it sticks). It doesn't surprise me that his way end up failing.
  9. I really have an issue with the elimination of Fatima (may be biased since I did not want to see her go home). Whenever there are pairs/teams challenges. Majority of the time, the judges pick the worst pair/team, and then pick the worst person in that team (For example, watch season 4. They picked the worst duo, and then eliminate the biggest culprit). I mean this season they have always picked the worst trio, and then eliminate the worst person. So its really weird that this episode, they picked the other two duos....and then pick the worst out of the four. Had they done it the way they usually determine pairs and trios, they would have deemed Adrianne and Joe the worse pair (since Tom talked about how he hated everything on that team), and then eliminated Joe. I just wished they have a more consistent policy of judging. Joe is one lucky dude, he scraped by twice this episode (All Joseph Flamm needed to do was pulse or rice his cauliflower finer, or Fatima made a better version of Nachos). I know everyone hated Claudette, but Joe easily should have been axed last episode(when he made 3 dishes, and all 3 dishes the judges hated).
  10. Claudette really hates Adrienne. She totally threw her under the bus in episode 2. Then she totally trash talks both her and Carrie about her dishes. I was cracking up at Conifer's reaction when Claudette putting blame on Chris. Everyone is all like, OMG here we go again. I know some people don't like Carrie, but I really appreciated her talking to Chris that he shouldn't put blame on himself in the stew room.
  11. It was in the first episode. The running joke is that Bruce knows everyone. Tom, Gail, and Padma all knew him before the competition. I listened to the RHAP podcast, and Brooke Williamson also knew Bruce as well (She was actually the reason he applied. Not to mention some of the quickfire guest judges knew Bruce as well. Which is why I kind of hope Bruce doesn't win. I understand the chef world is small....but it feels hard to feel that its not biased, when virtually every judge has a preexisting relationship with the contestant. Commonplace definitely deserved to lose. That isn't really fair for the judges to come to Conifer when it was starting, then arrive at Commonplace when they are in the middle of their services. The middle of the service is the most difficult time (Because all the chefs are cooking the appetizers, entrees and desserts simultaneously), wheras in the beginning (all eyes are on the appetizers). Also, how did Fatima end up getting all servers with no prior experience, while Joe didn't seem to have that issue? That's a really difficult hurdle for FOH. Curious how many sous chef actually get eliminated in restaurant wars? The only one I remember was season 1. Season 1, Miguel really screwed everything up. He forgot to scale the fish when he bought, and completely tanked all of his dishes. He also misread the price of the fish (9.99 as a pound as opposed to 19.99 a pound. So they were screwed from the getgo) So, you really have to do bad as a sous chef to screw up. Although I actually thought Stephen was terrible as FOH. He would lecture to the customers about the history of cultures for like half an hour.
  12. In watching this weeks episode, I don't think the cheftestants hate Tanya at all (even if Tanya was a bit moody). Fatima and Chris both talked about how they missed her. It seemed that virtually everyone hated that Claudette didn't go home. Carrie was actually more upset at Claudette, and didn't even mention about Tanya snapping at her.
  13. Funny you say that, because I'm starting to doubt Simone being the mole. I seriously have no idea who the mole is (Ruben? Olcay? Loes? Stine?) It also doesn't help that this team is a giant hot mess in general. The fact that they almost remained in a negative bank account this episode, is hilarious. Just out of curiosity, if the bank stays negative, does that actually mean the winner has to pay money?
  14. OMG, I remember that challenge. They had to cut a potato, by making 7 sides (That was when Josie cut herself). What is the purpose of cutting 7 sides of a potato? Does it cook faster? In terms of the bears clique. Tanya wasn't the only one complaining about it. Chris in his confessional was also really annoyed with the bears.
  15. These past two episodes have been really weird. Its interesting that the past two eliminees (Tanya and Brother) got eliminated for not fulfilling challenge requirements. Usually the judges would care more about the food than the challenge requirements. For example Antonia and Lisa completely disregarded polish sausage (it was a required part of a dish), but they got saved, because their food was better than Stephanie and Jennifer (even though they embraced the requirements of the challenge). The challenge this episode was confusing with the precision round. Why does that round have two separate scoring rubrics (the whole -1 point per 3 degrees), while the other two rounds were just simply just the score. Its weird, because Tanya's scores were actually pretty good (since the most she could get was a 4.) But her temperature accuracy essentially doomed the entire team? Claudette really should have edit her dish. It really doesn't make sense that she is asking everyone to help her add all these additional ingredients, if her round is speed. I mean she did screw up the last couple of quickfires, by not making it things on the plate. Not sure why she thought she was the speed person. Yeah the three guys, immediately made themselves a team. So it forced the other 6 to fend for themselves. I remember Adrienne has, this look like "Oh crap, I need to make a team that doesn't include Claudette", and immediately looked at Fatima and Carrie.
  16. Wow, I cannot believe that they uploaded a videoclip of a final 5 quickfire. That is so bad. Well, that's the challenge I was trying to figure out where Adrienne was at. I do think Carrie is the one that makes it to the F4, and not Joe Flamm. Just because of the comments other chefs made on the social media. Also, its weird for them to highlight a quickfire win (when they haven't weekly) for a person who got eliminated at the same round.
  17. That was in the thanksgiving challenge. They were split int two teams and the teams had to create a thanksgiving menu. Josie was in charge of making the turkey. She somehow burned and undercook the turkey (I have no idea how that happened), so she singlehandidly sent her team to elimination. But obviously she couldn't go home so Kuniko went home. Same thing about Nicholas in season 11. Where his immunity caused Stephanie to go home, which really sucked. Speaking about Nicholas. I remember in his season he got sick. So he opted out of the quickfire. The judges told him, if he didn't get better by the elimination challenge, he's automatically eliminated. I wonder if the same rules applied to Leann, since she wasn't present at the elimination challenge. But since she's pregnant, they edited to make it look like she voluntarily left.
  18. In season 3, Brian Malarkey was in the bottom even though he had immunity. The challenge was to recreate healthy version of fast food items. Brian from I remember that had a pretty bad dish. The other issue was that the judges essentially called him out, because all he cooked was seafood, and Collichio essentially told him that he needs to stop cooking the same ingredients over and over.
  19. I don't think the mole would try lose the challenge. That would be so unfair, if hypothetically if just one pair fails (with the mole). If that contestant even knew their partner is the mole, they would be executed by default. I think Simone is my top suspect. She immediately called Art, forcing every additional call to be a penalty. I also found it suspicious how she was the only one who magically M-18 answer.
  20. I guess it makes sense since it was a 30 minute challenge. However, I'm a bit surprised he used a premade jerk sauce. (I thought the judges generally look down on premade sauces)
  21. I'm really sad that Lee Ann had to leave. I was hoping that she was part of the all-stars cast back in season 8. That quickfire challenge felt like it was really hard for some of the contestants original dishes. For some of the dishes, it seems you have to completely change the dishes (which then the judges would call you out). I really did not care for Padma calling out Fatima for her quickfire performance. Yeah she didn't do that great, but that don't put as if she made her culture look bad. I kind of worry for Fatima, because it feels like now she trying to impress Padma in future episodes. Agree with everyone about Tom's insistence on salt in Adrienne's dish. Loved Carrie making hasselbeck potatoes, because she was inspired by David Hasselhoff. I feel that the problem with Brother's dish is that eggrolls are very compressed (since its just one fried item). So even if he had german ingredients (but had bok choy), everything problem just crammed together and probably tasted asian (while also obviously being presented as an asian item). I'm surprised the judges seemed to like his egg roll, because a lot of them looked really soggy coming out of the fryer.
  22. Leighleigh. I think you might be on to something. I remember Antonia did the same thing in all stars, where she did a twitter shout out to Mike Isabella and Richard Blais (before All-Stars aired). I'm sad that Fatima doesn't make it to F4. Kind of hilarious how we all figured out majority of the season, is Bravo even trying to cover things anymore? I remember the first 5-6 seasons were pretty hard to find spoilers. So next week White team definitely loses. (Chris, Claudette, and Tanya are on that team). The argument in the preview looks pretty tense. I think Blue team wins (Joe, Joseph, Bruce), because there is a clip of Fatima on the red team (Fatima, Carrie, Adrienne) looking like she's about to cry.
  23. Nice analysis guys. Oh wait nbern, the second person you think is Joe. I thought you thought the third person is Joe. I thought the third person was Joseph, because the person has a pretty wide build. I just realize the person in the far right could be lee anne. The person in the far right has their hair in the bun. Bruce and Claudette don't have that. I do agree that the covered person is Adrienne, (person's foot is pretty small). So left to right. Carrie?, Joe/Charlie?, Joseph, Adrienne (hidden person), Fatima, Leanne? These are my guesses based on the tv episode guides. F11/F10-Quickfire (At the top chef Kitchen with Blais) EC (Outside German Village, rainy windy) Brother gets eliminated here, and Claudette? or Leanne gets evacuated if I'm misseeing the F6. F9-Tanya goes home? (her and Charlie were fighting in another promo in the olympic challenge). Quickfire (breakfast challenge. Looks like inside the house 1:08) EC (teams of 3) F8-Charlie goes home? Restaurant Wars (looks like no quickfire) F7-Bruce eliminated in quickfire?? Quickfire (Edible flowers quickfire sudden death) F6-Carrie, Fatima, Joe, Joesph, Lee Anne, Adrienne(Broncos Challenge) (same episode) F5-Dessert quickfire, Cooking for governor. The rocky mountain oysters challenge is past episode 11? The three things that are confusing me are the following. 1. Curious what challenge Adrienne is in (42 seconds in)? I can't tell if it is a quickfire or an elimination, it doesn't really match any of the listed challenges. She's wearing black and cooking pork (so its not the F9 challenge). Might be a F5 elimination challenge? 2. Joseph in some challenge (looks like an elimination and not quickfire) (5 seconds in). (It looks like an episode 10 past challenge, because it doesn't really match the descriptions in any of the other ones) Joe is fishing. Again doesn't really match any of the descriptions. Might be a restaurant wars challenge, but he's outside (which most restaurant challenges are inside). He's not wearing a blue apron, so its not the F9 team challenge either. Its not the German village or the broncos challenge (since he's in a meadow and not in a stadium) 3. Joe is fishing which we haven't seen yet either. Maybe the sudden death quickfire? Edit* Yeah I meant Chris. Don't know why I said Charlie.
