  1. I think they're promos for a tv show. I get bombarded by them on Hulu. Won't be watching.
  2. Clooney was my favorite character this week, maybe because I've rescued a few "Clooneys" over the past couple of years. I'm a bit surprised that a halfway house wasn't recommended for Kevin to continue his recovery work. I'm leery of him having a positive outcome going to his mother's house. I wonder if Madison might be a binge/purge person and she goes to Kate's meeting due to bingeing behavior. I agree with others that Randall's taking the phone call during the interview was rude. I do think he's still mourning William's death. I think he's still trying to build a more complete picture of who his father was.
  3. Hid.e.ous. Puts the ug in ugly. Looks like she escaped being mauled by a wild animal.
  4. Oh, Michael. You got to illustrate, "One week you're in and the next week, you're out." From the top to...not. I didn't care for his look last week and this week, cripes! At least he didn't send her out in underwear and bungee cords. Brandon: I just get a sense of deja vu with his work. I liked Ayana's look. I think she deserved the win. Kenya seems to psych herself out with these challenges. Her look was ok. Margarita's look was ok. Didn't care for the helmet shoulders. Kentaro: I thought the basic design was ok. Wouldn't have thought to cut up a hose like that. The embellishments and styling did him in. So, how exactly did Lexus fit in to this challenge? Was it to show that it can haul a lot of crap from one location to another? Hell, my much smaller car can do that too.
  5. Was it just me or was Claire wearing two different sandals on the runway? Is this a new thing or is she channeling the 80's?
  6. I finally got to see the episode last night. Like others, I'm surprised the woman from JCP wasn't one of the judges. I thought the twins' looks were awful. I thought that Shawn's dress made Liris look like she was missing a breast when she walked the runway. Claire's...uh, er, cripes. It was just awful. Her ego was her downfall. I didn't think Ayana's outfit was all the great either. I thought it, unflatteringly, emphasized her model's abdomen. That's all I saw as she walked down the runway. Kenya's look wasn't *that* bad. Boring, yes, but decently made. Amy's look was just awful. The collar looked like those on men's shirts in the 70's. I'm not sure either twin has what it takes to stay. Maybe the face-off will show that and there will be a double elimination.
  7. They remind me of old SNL skits with Jon Lovitz, "Master Thespian". I expect them to throw their hand up after one of their speeches and announce, "Acting!" That being said, didn't care for either of their looks.
  8. Aaron, WTF was that you sent down the runway?! You threw in the towel with that piñata mess. The second WTF moment: Nina, what was that you were wearing? Reminiscing the launch of MTV? I did give her props for the stank face expression she had as Claire was waxing poetic about her, uh, design. I thought Kenya pulled off a decent outfit considering she didn't have enough fabric. But I can see the Partridge Family/Prince vibe to it. I don't even remember Shawn's design. I must have blocked her from my memory. I do find her and her sister annoying.
  9. Maybe...maybe it's supposed to be worn by one of the Peanuts characters to entice the Great Pumpkin to appear in the pumpkin patch. Linus has forgotten this. No wonder it's never appeared. Maybe Sally will wear it for her "Sweet Baboo". That being said, I'm going to kind of miss Kudzani. Deyonte's dress was poorly done besides being hid. e. ous. I hated Claire's as well. I'm not fond of the color red and I thought it made her model look like she had extra wide hips.
  10. At this point for Project Runway, I'm annoyed with designers who complain that <insert challenge du jour here> isn't what they do. Have they never seen the show?! It's like the cheftestants on Top Chef bitching about a type of food or technique. It's a competition, people! You're going to be asked to do things you don't normally do. I thought Brandon was going to have a nervous breakdown before they even got to the runway. I don't remember who the designer was but, that gold thing was hid.e.ous. That, as well as Batani's should've been on the chopping block. Although I can't disagree with Chacha's aufing. And, yeah, the twins are annoying. Indeed.
  11. I had the same reaction when I heard her name.
  12. Is the save something new? I don't ever remember seeing done for anyone in the past (then, of course, I have to remember what I'm watching.)
  13. My thought when the "cooks" came in was how loud and obnoxious most of them were. And they all must have family or friends who can cook for them. Or they do a lot of eating out. Looking at what some of them were throwing together, it seems as if they were trying to come up with the most disgusting dish ever (and what a waste of food). It appears that Jetta ( the only name I remembered) is a part-time comedienne and actress. Explains a lot. I still can't get tuna & jelly out of my head. Blarg.
  14. Saw tonight for the first time (and hopefully last), an ad for V I Poo which suggests giving it as a gift. I try to imagine the recipient's face as the open the, uh, gift.
  15. If a drinking game had been done each time Erin said the word "like", everyone would have been comatose from the outset. Cripes! Back to back seasons of the most sucktastic collection winning. I was so disappointed in Laurence's collection. Nothing really seemed to fit well and I thought the color choices were blah. Wasn't there an episode of Project Runway All Stars where they had to design a concert look for Zendaya?
  16. "Marie's Sculpture" is probably my favorite (I always thought it looked like wings, go figure). My other favorite is when Robert is promoted to lieutenant and Ray's book deal is shot down. "I was thinking, a lot of books get published that suck. For yours not to be published must be off the charts suck." In "A Vote For Debra" when she learns that Ray voted against her and she while arguing with him comments how she told people she didn't know him as he was "stuffing his pants with meat". "I'm your husband. You're supposed to support me no matter what's in my pants!". Cracks me up every time.
  17. Didn't really care for any of the designs this week. Hated Mah Jing's. Can't imagine wearing something with a simulated bra on the outside and feeling "powerful". I'd feel like I forgot to put on a top. I think the only accurate comment was the groan by Swatch as they left Mood.
  18. I'm glad Rik's look won. While I thought the heart was too cutesy, the proportions were right and the overall look suited his mom. Did anyone else feel that Mah-Jing's mom was a bit...distant? I think he commented that they weren't really close (maybe I heard wrong) but at times it felt like they were strangers and she wanted to be anywhere but there. Sorry, Jenni. Yeah, your mom really gave you nothing to work with but, damn. That really wasn't a good look. Nathalia should've been aufed as well for poor proportions and not finishing. You guys had two days!
  19. I'm surprised that none of the judges commented that the Red team did nothing in the color they were assigned. It was supposed to be red violet, not red. Did none of them ever have the 64 count box of Crayola crayons? https://simple.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red-violet I think the Tim Gunn Save should be done away with. Or maybe they could do something like Top Chef's Last Chance Kitchen and have a "design off". Anyway, I think it was wasted on Cornelius. He should've been auf'ed for the horribly done yellow top. I didn't realize at first that the red thing on the front of Erin's coat was a pocket. Hid.e.ous.
  20. I would have sent Cornelius home. His look didn't fit well, was poorly constructed and just plain sucked. I didn't like Brik's fabric choices but his clothing was better made than Cornelius'. I would've given the win to Nathalia. I'd wear the jacket. Her whole look was well made. Erin wasted too much time on that questionable embroidery. It added nothing to the clothing. The whole look was off. I didn't mind Roberi's. I liked the top. Dexter's appeared better suited for the Avant Garde challenge.
  21. The language wench in me wanted Erin aufed for talking about who "leaded" their team. Picky, I know. My eyes must be going bad because I didn't see mauve fabric. That would mean that coat was yellow & mauve (ick). Neither collection wowed me and I would've been ok with a no elimination week. That said, I thought, too, that Alex's good bye was a build up for a Tim Gunn save.
  22. Maybe they're considering "Road to the Runway" as episode 1?
  23. Cannot stand the Time Warner Cable ads with the asshat neighbors. If you've got that service stay the hell home and use it...leave your neighbors alone!
  24. I'd posted about this show in the Genre section. Glad to see it's gotten it's own listing. Regarding the "manager", I posted in the genre section that I was getting a weird vibe from him and wondered if he had been writing checks for himself. Something just seemed off about him.
  25. I got a strange vibe from Aaron Carter's manager. Kept wondering if he might have been taking some of the unaccounted for money.
