  1. I couldn't understand why Lola's daughter wouldn't allow Lola to visit the boys at their home. I'm pretty sure Jimmy wouldn't have been brought along. I also didn't get Lola flying to LA rather than having Jackson meet Jimmy on his home turf. I couldn't watch the ghost hunter segment.
  2. Wait!! You had carrier pigeons?! We had to chisel our sketches into rocks and throw 'em!
  3. The Experian douche nozzles also need a seat on which ever vehicle is being sent over the cliff.
  4. I think it's because the other guy's grass isn't greener.
  5. Re: Ford SportKa O M G! Brain bleach!! Mental floss!! How on Earth did they think that would help sell a car ?!
  6. ACK! If you want to shrink your own snacks, fine. But to impose your smug attitude on someone else because you don't want to eat what they're having? May your co-workers shun you for the inconsiderate wenches you are...or push you into a giant vat of Dannon yogurt while they're singing "I've got the power!".
  7. I thought Sydney's boyfriend was a bit of a douche nozzle. Even when he was being encouraging (I guess) it didn't sound sincere.
  8. It might have been an ad for Plenti where you earn points shopping at one location to use at another. Haven't seen that particular ad, though.
  9. There's a Samsung washing machine ad that's running now where frantic parents are trying to calm a crying child who has spilled juice on "lambie" 2.0. They run to the washing machine which is equipped with a sort of rinsing mechanism outside of a wash cycle. This always raises a couple of questions: couldn't they have just as easily gone to the bathroom or kitchen sink? And do they think that a soggy "lambie" is going to calm their child?
  10. Well, Mary Poppins travelled by umbrella...jus' sayin'.
  11. My cats wouldn't wait for me to go to sleep before killing me if I tried to put them in costumes.
  12. I saw an ad tonight where people mess up what they're doing. Tag line: Sorry. I was eating a Milky Way. So, Milky Way, what you're saying is that eating your candy bar makes people stupid? What marketing whiz thought *that* was a good idea?
  13. I'm not sure if this should go here or the irritating kids thread but... The Jimmy Dean microwave whatever with the girl repeating "microwave?" over and over. Look, sweetums, microwave ovens have been around much longer than you have. I'm pretty sure you've had more than your fair share of microwaved food in your life.
  14. Right up there is the boy, about the same age, savoring his slice of pizza (Red Baron? DiGiorno?)
  15. But, but, but...if I go commando how do I attach my Tena pad? I mean, I want me to be me even if my bladder doesn't want me to. I want to be able to sing really loud in my car and laugh obnoxiously at the movies. And what if I'm wearing a skirt?! Inner thigh strength can carry that only so far. Or underwareness? So many decisions...<*small voice* my head hurts>
  16. Sorry. Misunderstood. You're right, though, one doesn't have to have the "perfect" physique to get up and move.
  17. That was my point. She's bitching about her freakin' toe getting caught in some fabric and there are people who are physically challenged who are doing some incredible things. She appears content to sit in her wheelchair and complain how mean everyone is to her and how nobody understands. They understand, Pauline, they understand that it's a big ol' steaming pile of bovine excrement.
  18. Pauline came to mind today as I caught some of the results from the Boston Marathon. One woman who finished was a survivor of the bombings who ran with a prosthetic leg. Another was a man who lost both legs in Afghanistan and ran on two prosthetic legs. And she whined about a toe getting caught. They *ran* Pauline, after experiencing incredible physical and emotional traumas. You could haul your ass out of the Beastmaster and walk a little bit without experiencing an owwie on your footies. Sheesh.
  19. I think part of the problem with Capri were the cameras. She and, to a lesser extent, London, were always "on". If you can stomach watching again, she's interacting with the camera; the poor cats became props. I know 5 year olds can be a bit squirrelly but the show has had families on with younger children who didn't behave that way. It's like she was auditioning for something. I had to laugh as they were wrapping up when mom commented to Jackson that now he was ready for a child and he emphatically replied, "No."
  20. I'm not a regular viewer of this show but I saw Pauline's episode yesterday. Never have I wanted to reach through the tv and slap the shit out of someone as I did with her. What a manipulative beast! I have to admit that I laughed out loud when, while confronting her, Dr. Now commented, "Here come the tears." I know of someone who had the bypass surgery and wasn't successful but she is honest about what has contributed to the failure. I think Pauline's head would explode (owwie!) if she were honest about her situation.
  21. But...but...mom said the kids were well behaved! I caught one of the crew leading her away from the other children. It appeared that Capri is a child who is not accustomed to hearing "no". I wanted to slap both parents.
  22. I'm just glad I could prevent even just one person from experiencing the disappointment that I endured....
