  1. I forgot about that. But I don't see a set up in the Michael/Adam storyline that would require Dean having his blood drained.
  2. I think this has a lot to do with the writers not talking to each other and writing in a vacuum. Episode 4 was finalized first and filmed first so most likely Perez didn't bother checking with the other writers to see which brother was supposed have which reaction. So he chose to have Dean prop up Sam. The other writers decided to pick Sam for whatever reason. At least I can reconcile Deans' reactions. Dean was the biggest champion of free will so it would hit him the hardest losing it. They were given a brief repreive last week, and it was probably partly Dean trying to convince himself/be strong for Sam. Then finding out this week that no, they are still on the hamster wheel was going too hit doubly hard and Jensen conveyed that brilliantly.
  3. I just read a theory on twitter that I think is right on. In the SPPT video we know there is footage until episode 7. There is a picture of Dean tied up in chair getting his blood drained. This hasn't happened yet. So its either episode 6 or 7. Since it look like a Djinn set up, and next week is all about Sam killing a witch with magic that leaves episode 7. Which probably means that Leo is in Dean's head. It would also explain why Dean can suddenly sing well. Which if this theory is correct, screw you writers.
  4. My guess is that this was cut because the writers don't want to remind the audience that Dean is graceful and athletic inbetween the old man jokes.
  5. IIRC this is the 3rd ep they refered to Dean either being tortured or being a torturer. I wish that was leading somewhere.
  6. I'm kind of glad its off the table. One of my biggest worries was that it was going to come down to Dean shooting Sam and him deciding to use the equalizer so they died together. One of my two do not want. The other one was Dean killing Sam. So I feel a little better now that Sam's visions have also shown Dean killing Sam. If they go with either option now then the Winchesters really were puppets. Of course that doesn't really mean anything on Dabbnatural. One other interesting thing, (but will probably go nowhere) is when Lilth said she couldn't kill Dean. She could torture him and make him wish for death, but she needed him alive. So Chuck might have plans for him. But considering everything Yockey's last episode set up and took away, I can't even be sure Dabb knows he included that. I was watching a review of last weeks episdoe and he commented that it was the first time he found Rob played a believable villain. A good director can elevate performances. I'm not a fan of Speight's directing but he should have reminded Jared to change his style. Both Demon Blood Sam and Lucifer Sam came across the same. Demon Blood Sam was angry and full of rage. Lucifer was calm and collected. The two character needs to be played differently because they aren't the same. Mark of Cain Dean and Demon Dean are just chilling. We were robbed we got so little of both. The thing Jensen can do with his face. I also like how Jensen is playing the Cas thing. (So far) He's concerned and keep in touch (see Cas its not that hard) but he's not moping.
  7. I feel like Dean is the only one having an even remotely relatable reaction to this whole God thing. He was angry that they were rats in a maze, than after the whole Go thing he had a brief surge of a hope/wishful thinking combo. Then they find out God isn't gone and he has a near melt down. Jensen "F-ing" Ackles. Man that end scene was the fist time I felt any emotion all season. Dean was barely holding it together. I though we might finally get a scene where Dean loses it, but he once again chocked it back. He needs to really lose it this season. He's buried 14 years of pain. It has to erupt at some point. The age joke didn't work because Jensen looks like he barely aged a day. The rest of my thoughts belong in bitch/jerk.
  8. CLOSING TIME – Dean (Jensen Ackles) goes off on his own to take on a case. Meanwhile, Castiel (Misha Collins) has an idea of how he can help Sam (Jared Padalecki) track down God. Amyn Kaderali directed the episode written by Jeremy Adams (#1507). Original Airdate 12/5/2019. http://www.ksitetv.com/supernatural/supernatural-last-call-description-released/199736/ Episode 7 description
  9. I've just spent the last hour watching this guys reviews and he says so many things I agree with.
  10. Based on the title of this ep it might be a very special lesson ep for Dean.
  11. Oh shoot. I put this in the wrong thread. Sorry everyone.
  12. I hope this is okay to post here since its not technically about Supernatural. This is Jared's manager and if I was JP, I'd think about getting a new one, or a new EP for the show.
  13. It would be kind of cool to see Jensen direct something that isn't Supernatural.
  14. I think this is the ep we seen with Dean having his face cut. There is that scene in the SPPT video with Dean tied to a chair. Maybe Sam goes home with another version of Dean.
  15. Exactly. It would explain why Sam doesn't feel free and it would be a big clue that God is not gone. Dean is feeling free, (if, its not just a cover) but Sam is setting Dean up for a another big disappointing blow.
  16. I'm waiting for a fan in a QA at a con to ask Jensen to marry them and their spouse. lol
  17. For me its tone. I always feel like Sam is angry at Dean. Even when they're just talking, Sam sounds impatient and condescending, like he's lecturing rather than just having a conversation. This is why I think they will end up flipping the ending. They can't actually end being puppets which is why I think Dean will kill Sam. I can see that being an ending that Jensen had trouble digesting and since its how Kripke envisioned the original ending I could see why he loved it and talked Jensen into it.
  18. IMO, since that script called for just a random person at first and it was Jensen's idea that it be Benny, I don't think it was anything more than just Ty doing Jensen a favor.
  19. Speaking of Drowning, someone superimposed it over the scene from last week.
  20. If you want the true definition of pain, watch that last scene on mute and play Drowning in the back ground. It will leave you questioning your life choices.
  21. He knows Sam and his tells. He called Sam out. Sam didn't really come clean and certainly not with the nature of the nightmares.
  22. This is what's happening. Sam is keeping secrets from Dean and lying about being fine. If he told Dean about his dreams or visions or whatever they are then I could see it being mutal, but 15 years in its still like it was in season 1.
