Except for the revelation that is going to split up Eric and Nicole, and surely send him back to Africa, I loved today's show. Loved that all the Brady/Black family members were in the same room for such a long time - Roman, Marlena, John, Eric, Sami, Brady, Belle. Loved the interactions between them. Loved Roman and Marlena going to check on Eric. Loved Belle and John together. Just felt old-school 80's, back when the families were so close. More of this, please.

Thanks for the explanation. I knew she'd been kidnapped by Kristen, and I saw the episode where Jan and Claire were in the car, and heard the banging in the trunk, but never knew how things were resolved. Jan back in a coma. 🤣

I haven't been watching much lately, but made a point to watch yesterday and today, since Eric is back. 😍 Wish I felt confident that he was staying for a while, but I suspect Nicole cheating on him will send him back to Africa tout suite. 😢 Edit: Oh... what happened to Chloe's arm?

I'm not sure if I'll get back into watching every day, as it's been nice having that free hour every day, but still looking forward to being able to watch when I want to. Just hope the new co-host will be likable, and not a monkey's paw sort of replacement.

I can't believe she's actually leaving, but happy that I can finally start watching The View again. I've been an on and off viewer since the beginning, and used to tape it every day on my VCR for years. Then Elisabeth finally drove me away after the Rosie split screen mess. I then skipped several years, returning when Rosie came back for the 2nd time, then left again when MM drove me away. In fact, the last show I watched was Sara's "last" day back in 2018. I've continued reading this forum off and on, and can't wait to be able to start posting again, once MM is gone. So see y'all in September, or sooner if we're lucky and MM doesn't come back for the remainder of her contract.

I feel like I'm one of the last Canadians to finally watch this show, but I finally am, and I'm loving it. Just finished season 3, and I can't wait to start season 4. I love really love all the characters, even Roland, but I think David is my favourite.

Guessing Ron's still there, since he's tweeted about it. Great news about the renewal. And 2 years! They just may make their 60th anniversary yet.

But who (not Dena) would be better? And some of the issues are beyond his control, like Covid. not to mention budgetary and casting issues, as well as interference from TPTB. I'm not really a fan of Ron's storylines, but the guy (can't be bothered to look up his name) who made Joey a murderer and Chase a rapist, wasn't great either. And I hated most of what Dena wrote before her most recent firing. Too bad Shari Anderson isn't interested, though even she probably wouldn't be able to recreate the magic of the 80's.

I don't think there's been anything official posted, but over at DR there's been talk of her having been ill or having health issues. Also no word on JA, but they speculated that he was supposed to be in the scenes yesterday with Ciara, and that his absence was unexpected or sudden.

I wish Jennifer was on canvass too. I think she would help balance out the Gwen/Jack versus Abigail scenes. And despite her personal beliefs/opinion, I really miss Melissa Reeves, and hate that Matthew Ashford is filming, and she's not. ☹️

As much as I complain about the show, I'm not ready for it to be cancelled yet. Especially not if the final shows are taped during Covid restrictions, with limits on the number of people allowed on set at a time, and where older actors such as JA and SR might not even want to risk coming in to film. Not to mention no time to convince MR and KA to come back. So hopefully we get another renewal, and hear about it soon.

Isn't it interesting how us handful of viewers who post here don't agree on which characters/storylines are good and which are bad. Makes me wonder what an online forum / social media would have been like back in the Super Couple era.

I only made it to the 30 minute mark today, before I got bored and turned the tv off. Not interested in Xander/Chanel, and I wasn't even a Xarah fan. I also got annoyed with Abigail yelling about Gwen again. And Gwen apologizing to Chad got on my nerves. Even Cin wasn't enough to hold my interest. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

Cin fan here. Possibly the only one on this forum? As for my thoughts on the current Cin storyline, I'm enjoying it. I like that Ciara is questioning her relationship with a serial killer. I like that she's acting more naive, younger even, which makes sense since she thinks it's 3(?) years ago. I do, however, think they've taken those books, and the "connection" way too far, and that unless those are magical books, it's just ridiculous now. My only real negative is if VK is only back for a short time, and that Cin are going to spend all of it apart, and probably still be apart when/if she leaves again. I also wonder what the plan is for Ben if Ciara leaves Salem again. On the same topic, more-or-less, it's gotten ridiculous now that Hope is unreachable and doesn't know the daughter she's searching the world for is home in Salem I don't know the solution, and don't think a recast would work, but Hope's absence is huge.

I'm so happy Raufikat won. Her final show stopper plates were so beautiful and totally looked like they could be in a fancy bakery, Her surprise at winning made me a little teary eyed. Love this show, and also am sad it's over for another year. But the good news is, there's going to be a season 5. 🎂🍰🧁🥧🍪

They're slowly narrowing down the suspect pool. Who's left now? Tripp and John? Is that it, or am I forgetting someone? Also, could Charlie have shot himself? Since he took the gun from Allie, it's not impossible. Or is it? Would forensics or an autopsy rule out suicide? Edit to add: Giving it just a moment's more thought, I'm ruling out suicide, based on what I recently read in Ken Corday's book. Because his brother killed himself, and he knows how traumatic that is for a family, there has never been a suicide on Days, so I doubt that will be the case here.

I don't normally enjoy the Halloween and April Fool's episodes, and almost didn't watch today, in which case I would have missed the best episode in ages. Except for the Xander/Bonnie parts, I loved all the silliness from Sami being John's executioner to Sean and Jan, to Chloe, Philip and Belle. Too funny, but still kind of what could have happened. I almost wish they'd go with this sort of alternative reality for a bit, though it would probably get old fast. Either way, I'm sure the actors had a ball acting in their scenes.

I wish I didn't know about her personal beliefs and tweets, however, MR is the only Jennifer for me, so I really hope this is true and that she is back working, because with Jack in Salem, original Jennifer needs to be there too. I do, however, hope it's just a coincidence that Linsey was let go prior to MR's return. I wasn't a fan of Sarah, or Linsey's quirky portrayal of her, but I would not want her to lose her job due to a social media "disagreement" with another co-worker. Do you by any chance have a link to the reddit post that mentioned SR saying Missy is back? Google isn't helping, and I lurk on DR and they haven't mentioned anything about it yet, and usually someone there sees and posts all the casting rumours.
