  1. It actually appeared on screen as the show was going on though, it was one of the weird bottom-of-the-screen ads they do sometimes.
  2. They sort of gave away that Lisa Ann was going to win, considering she was a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live that night (an ad for which ran DURING the show) 😄
  3. This show, unlike The Masked Singer, makes me feel really smart because the clues are so obvious I can pretty much guess who everyone is 😆
  4. I've seen "Poor Things", and...it's possible she might not care at this point. 😄
  5. I would've said "Buddha" for "things with a belly" maybe.
  6. Yeah, this was the first week where I could definitely tell Sea Queen is Macy Gray. I like how Ken brushed it off with "Yeah, I was with her on 'I Can See Your Voice'" while guessing that she was Queen Latifah, heh
  7. It perhaps doesn't speak highly of the office of Vice President that no one could think of (or recognize) any Vice Presidents beyond the past 3 ones 😄
  8. I'm pretty sure Gazelle IS a cast member of "Pretty Little Liars", just not the one Nicole guessed.
  9. Is the show pre-empted for baseball this week? The next scheduled episode was supposed to be episode 7, "One Hit Wonders Night", but I've been seeing ads that the show is going to be returning on Nov. 8th with "Trolls Night".
  10. Yeah, not sure why they couldn't have swapped these two episodes. Especially since this episode wasn't particularly good and was parodying something that's out of date anyway.
  11. To bolster my belief that it might be Haddish, I just saw her on Jimmy Kimmel and she was promoting a new song she made with Lil' Jon called "Til The Club Close". Plus also talking about her upcoming standup tour! It may not be her, though. Someone guessed Jenifer Lewis, which is not a bad guess, since she's an actress, singer, and has done comedy (on "Black-ish"). Two Black-Ish cast members in one season though?
  12. I'm pretty sure the Sea Queen said she was a "triple threat" and mentioned doing comedy, which wouldn't really fit with Macy Gray. I thought Tiffany Haddish when she said she was going on tour (I think Haddish is about to go on a comedy tour with Lil Rel Howery), but she's not really known for singing.
  13. Maybe Gazelle is Hilary Duff; she starred in the classic (?) "Cadet Kelly", which would fit with that army clue. I can't recall her ever playing a villain in anything before though. Edit: Oh, now I'm remembering someone else guessed Mandy Moore, who was a villain sort of in The Princess Diaries. Gazelle does seem to have more of a Mandy Moore-type build (very tall) Edit Edit: I'm now also remembering all that stuff about people not wanting to hire her because of her "unique look", which doesn't fit with Duff or Moore. I took a look at who web sites are guessing and it's an actress I've never heard of, so it's probably her.
  14. I guess because the answers were different variations on the spelling of "Diane"? There was a Diahann Carrol and a Dian Fossey, among others.
  15. Now picturing him in the booth delivering his lines with Clem Fandango offering him notes on his line readings. "...YES!" 😀
  16. If Gazelle really does turn out to be Constance Wu, that's it, the End Times are near. (Or else someone's feeding Ken the answers)
  17. It was announced on-air during Saturday's rerun that the 10/7 show will be a rerun of the Steve Martin/Martin Short episode. So no new episode this week. Oct. 14th is still a possibility, but Colin Jost and Michael Che have a show scheduled at Radio City Music Hall on that night. That seems like it would be a hassle to reschedule, so maybe they're just gonna wait this out (and hopefully the SAG strike will be over by then) and start on the 21st.
  18. Right. I am actually wondering if SAG members *can* host, as long as they don't promote any past or upcoming projects. Matt Walsh (until he got kicked off the show this week) was allowed to appear on Dancing with the Stars, because the SAG contract for that show falls under the same Network Code that SNL falls under. Someone like Olivia Rodrigo, for example...she's a SAG member because she's been an actress in the past, but if she's hosting/MGing to promote her album, is she breaking any rules?
  19. Several cast members have posted on their Instagram Stories in the last few days that they are back in New York already, including Michael Longfellow, who just a few weeks ago had posted that he had stand-up dates scheduled for this weekend in South Carolina. It feels wild that the show could be coming back this early, but everything I've heard indicates this is the case. Maybe we'll get an announcement today about something.
  20. I guess that's true. Maybe FOX ordered this show before the strike started, anticipating that it was going to happen. It was definitely part of their "strike-proof" schedule that was announced back in the summer.
  21. The fake commercials were the best part, but I also wondered how this show managed to get created without a WGA writer on staff. Clearly there's a lot of writing going on to create those things, they were almost like little comedy sketches (The "Polar Opposite" dating app was the funniest one).
  22. Back in June of last year , the show received a double renewal for Season 5 and Season 6 simultaneously. Now, that hypothetical Season 6 (which probably would've started filming around now I suppose) could always be rescinded for strike reasons I guess, but hopefully they'll honor the deal to make another season.
  23. This season was called "End Times", so I feel like there probably....isn't going to be a next time? I'm actually surprised this got a fourth season, considering how much TBS is getting out of the scripted comedy business. Plus, I'm not really sure where they'd go from here, considering this series has already gone into the "future" (or a possible future).
  24. I wonder about those SAG rules for game shows. Celebs can appear I guess, but won't be able to plug any of their other projects. So it's going to be like "You'll know this person from...uh, I guess we can't say where right now" 😀 This would be more of an issue with Celebrity Family Feud I suppose, which often has themed episodes (like the recent "Haunted Mansion" one). But CFF isn't on ABC's schedule for the fall.
  25. It's funny how you can tell they're running these episodes out of production order. Last week's episode started off with a recap of Mark Duplass who was in this episode; this episode started off with Jeff Ross who is going to be on next Sunday's episode.
