  1. Not defending her but one of the first thing she mentioned about how "easy" it would be to convert was that she would be eating turkey bacon. Yeah, a real deep thinker with very serious convictions because bacon was one of the few details she mentioned.
  2. I am not acquainted with Fun Dip. I wonder if it is something like a mysterious confection that is available in Great Britain known as Sherbert. It is a sweet white powder that bubbles in the mouth. It is conveyed by a hollow piece of licorice that acts like a straw, or, by a lollipop that is dipped into it. I know we have some members from across the pond. Is it still available?
  3. "John from the Army" may very well have been a sober coach. Although he listed his place of residence as being in Hawaii when registering for the race someone by the same name has links to Charlotte, NC. And, from the pictures it does look like it could be him. (He has a slightly unusual way of spelling his name.) Also pure speculation with absolutely no information to support this but he could have been one of Hunter's friends. It seems that having a brief cameo would have generated some cash for him.
  4. Hey, I've got one! Whitney is as pretty as the future princess. There is a selfie she posted on her FB just prior to a press junket. She is in full makeup, her hair is done and artfully tousled on the left side of her face and part of the right side of her face isn't fully in view and her top chin is elevated so the rest can't be seen. She resembles Meghan Markle in that photo. Although I must say that the whole unpopular opinion thing confuses me. Is Glenn a great Dad or is he kind of a creep? Which is the unpopular opinion?
  5. Yep, gross. But she doesn't limit it to when gorging on cake. Keep an eye out for her to bite her protruding tongue while wrinkling her nose - like a 3 year old. Most recent time I recall is when she was anticipating the trip to Hawaii.
  6. I guess it all depends where you get your information. http://www.petpigeducation.com/pig-breeds.html describes several breeds of swine and at least two say the weight is 50-60 lb when grown. So I stand by my original statement. Some can be larger. But those bred to be pets are selectively bred to be docile and on the smaller side of the spectrum. It was I who mentioned irresponsible breeders who may sell a baby pig as being a small species and later said pet grows to 300 lb and still enjoys sitting on the couch. And I also considered a Pot Bellied pig as a pet and did my due diligence going so far as to visit a home to meet the litter as well s the fully mature sow. And there is no way that pig weighed more than 60 lb. With that said, I am out of any further porcine discussion.
  7. Dot, she might very well be doing something in Charlotte but it was on her FB on October 11 where she talked about Charleston. Perhaps the one in Charleston was so poorly attended that they needed to do another one to get some better footage.
  8. I would be willing to wager that the genesis of the idea to take BGDC on the road is nothing more than a plot point. Months ago someone shared the ad for a "Whitney Thore Pop Up Dance Class" in Charleston. I can't remember if one of our sleuths checked it out or, if there was a photo on her FB or insty of a rather sparse turn out. BGDC in Charleston, Buddy living in Charleston not a coincidence in my opinion. It makes sense that it was producer driven to make filming Buddy in SC more cost effective by having two storylines in one trip.
  9. We mustn't forget the punching bag he gave her to entice her to work out.
  10. Ummm. If you rewatch the clip where Babs and Twit go to the pig farm you will hear the breeder say that he was a Mini Potbellied Pig; Now, I have no doubt that Babs may have said that he was 150 lb but then she said she was driving at 85 mph, it is also possible that the breeder was not being truthful. However, I still think it was NOT a farm animal that they took home. And, sadly, when rehomed to a farm it has died. We don't know why and I doubt we will ever really know the truth.
  11. I must confess that I do as well since I can watch tv, surf the net, read and listen to the radio while keeping a steady pace. For fun I X-C ski, hike, backpack, bike and snowshoe but that's fun and not standardized exercise. I try to do 100 minutes on a good day. I know! Crazy! But then, I live in an area where there are no sidewalks and it is usually icy underfoot during the winter and the bugs can carry you off in the summer.
  12. They are supposed to be affectionate and sweet animals. I just couldn't get beyond the high pitched squeal made when alarmed, that petting one was like caressing a hairbrush, the fact that it would have difficulty walking on the flooring in my house, and, that I couldn't find a kennel that would board it when I travelled. So, yeah, right decision for us. But Babs wanted Mr. Piggy and incorporated him into the household. I think the first step should have been consulting with an animal behaviorist. (Which we did for our problem child Jack Russell Terrier and he died in my arms at 18 years 8 months.) And, if Whitney can't take care of herself she shouldn't be sticking her nose into her mother's business much less making arrangements to move Mr. Piggy to a farm before even discussing it with the pet's owner.)
  13. Cherenkov, I agree with almost everything you said. However, Vietnamese Pot Bellied pigs are not truly farm animals and when full grown usually weigh about the same as a mid size dog. A lot of breeders raise them in their houses and they are probably self selected to be docile and good pets. In my opinion it is far more cruel to re-home one of these to a farm after it has been accustomed to being amongst people. Not saying that there haven't been stories about pet pigs who were bought from unscrupulous people who grew to 300 lbs. but those were not the same breed. (Full disclosure: I do not raise them, do not have one as a pet, but at one time researched Pot Bellied pigs before deciding against bringing one into my life.)
  14. What I see is her saying something outrageous and laughing at the memory of the discomfort she created when saying it. I also see a lot of her making a joke at someone else's expense which in my opinion is not clever or funny.
  15. Thanks for the explanations PityFree and Elizzikra
  16. Having not seen the episode I am curious about the rag on the stick. Does it look like she bought it or just put it together and was using it for the first time?
  17. I think she only looks good when she has had her makeup and hair done professionally - and even then sometimes it doesn't work to her advantage. I am remembering the hair style with the bump it which was not a good look at all. She looks OK when she is wearing the cobalt blue top and blue contact lenses. Her everyday look is a real mess. How about a hint? I also have DISH and refuse to pay extra for the channels they just removed from my package. I'll be counting on everyone's comments when it airs though. Thanks in advance.
  18. So true. Who was it who said that wearing sweatpants or pants with elastic waistbands is admitting defeat?
  19. My theory is that when someone is obese and experiencing general discomfort e.g. constricting clothes, aching joints, and sore feet that denying oneself comfort food is one more area of discomfort that must be endured. Eating refined carbs and fast food is an easy and quick way of alleviating one of those issues. It's a short term solution that leads to bigger problems.
  20. I think she would be even more toxic than she is as a disabled morbidly obese woman. I think she would be a spoiled mean girl while still being coddled by her parents. Glenn would be bribing her to find employment and she would act even more like a pretty princess. Nothing would change the extreme narcissism that she constantly displays. She would have no reason to stop manipulating those around her because she has never learned adult coping skills. Her problem is not her size it is her personality.
  21. Well said, Ketzel. I have been thinking that Whitney says outrageous things to get a response from Babs to indicate that she has gotten under her skin. I think she lives to hear her mother sigh, "Oh Whitney." I don't know how Glenn and Babs raised such an enormous toddler but she still has mannerisms of a little girl who has been doted upon. I just can't figure out why Babs lets Whitney take her shopping for age inappropriate clothing.
  22. You're all on FIRE! I can't wait to watch it. Love the snapshots and captions John M.
  23. Clarewalks, those are really cute swimsuits. I confess I have been mulling over how Twit styled her Torrid top and then wore it as it should be seen. Maybe she is getting the clothes free or at a discount from Torrid since she doesn't shy away from mentioning the brand name. Perhaps they saw her roll up the top and read her the riot act. (The rolled version was from Hawaii which was in August while the other version was from the cruise which was in December.) And I think she mismatched the top and bottom because she could not fit into the matching grannie panty. The black one that she wore looks to have a lot more give.
