  1. That certainly would explain why he hadn't taken Babs to Hawaii until now. From the looks of it he is semi-supporting both Hunter and Whitney. Did anyone catch Whitney mentioning that a year from now she and Tal might be married and with a child? Sorry, I'm not rewatching The Skinny to see if there is a reaction shot from Tal. The topless photo of the two of them skeeves me out especially since she might be thinking of that possibility. It would be good fodder for another season though - right up until the end when they inevitably cancel. Also, couldn't help but notice the death stares. All except Buddy. When they played the clip of him saying that she probably hadn't finished the race with two people helping her to the finish line she actually agreed. I tell ya, she still has got feelings for him.
  2. She looks so small (relatively speaking of course) in the first one. The area from the elbow to the shoulder shows quite a difference as do comparisons of the jowl area.
  3. Totally agree with this. It's just that it is now so apparent that she always wanted him. She might have throttled back a little when Heather was in the picture. He never really shut Twit down, probably to keep his rent free living situation intact. Especially since she practically stalked him to Charleston.
  4. After watching some of the older episodes as well as recalling several moments during this season I am even more convinced than ever that Whitney wanted Buddy as a love interest. Early on they seemed to flirt with each other. Recall that when they were planning on renting the house together, ostensibly to save money, she broke the news to Glen and Babs by saying that Buddy wanted to live with her. She made that comment about enjoying the view of his rear end. She seemed jealous of the relationship Buddy had with Heather and more recently seemed to delight in the knowledge that Buddy was no longer interested in her "friend". Of course she wanted Buddy to go to Hawaii because "she needed him" and she seemed truly excited to see him. At one point she (probably erroneously) described Buddy as having been her boyfriend. And, of course, most recently, when she scheduled the BGDC in Charleston and called Buddy as soon as she got to town to surprise him. All the other men she "dated" were probably an attempt in her 11 year old brain to become more desirable to Buddy. I don't like Buddy one single bit but the two of them seemed to have a comfortable relationship even though he denied ever having had any romantic interest in her at one of the wrap up interviews.
  5. Thanks cherenkov for the clarification. If she were selling it I was wondering if she was trading up or moving back home. I guess things are static for now.
  6. Are you saying she currently has it listed? Hmmm. That's an interesting turn of affairs.
  7. The sailing date is 8 freakin' months away! It looks like Heather is on there actively encouraging people to book it. BTW the published price is for an inside cabin although paid upgrades to outsides and balconies are available.
  8. Thanks to all who posted while watching the trainwreck last night. That episode sounds really depressing and disturbing and I'm not sorry to have missed it. Taunting Babs with the pet's remains is so cruel. I recall Whitney having great sport laughing at the funeral service for one of Bab's dogs in one of the early seasons. Back when the three Thores pressured Babs to send her pet to the farm Babs said something like, "You can't just send a family member away." I'm guessing she might wish she could do just that.
  9. Once again tonight I don't have access to cable. I see that you all are warming up for the last real show of the season so I am waiting expectantly to read your comments.
  10. Whitney has mastered physics - and most likely by trial and error.
  11. I love this description. She seems to rely on momentum for walking and running as well.
  12. Sorry ClareWalks but I have to continue chiming in on the "gross food" discussion. I pay a lot of attention to which foods are especially nourishing and contain micronutrients and antioxidants. I so completely agree with not wasting any part of an animal that has been slaughtered and commend anyone who puts the same into practice. I'll have to remember that "talk and walk" thing. I have a friend who refers to pig's feet as "trotters". My mother's relatives who had survived WW2 in Britain introduced her to a food that I used to really enjoy when I still ate meat. The drippings from Sunday roast which consisted of juice and fat and congeal when cold are delicious when spread on bread with a little salt. However, I never tried black pudding or head cheese. When I saw a bristle in the loaf of head cheese in the deli case that was enough to steer me away from that. Oh, and the bf who hunted squirrel etc. for eating - also from Nebraska.
  13. So I told my tofu eating bf about the chicken gizzard discussion. He said he thought they were delicious. Fond memories from KFC when they were on the menu. He's from the country and has eaten turtle, squirrel, pheasant, raccoon and bear when he was a confirmed carnivore. He harvested them all.
  14. I think this is it. I seem to recall a longer version where she is talking with Hunter. I think he is filming it on her phone.
  15. I know you are all kidding about a certain junket but... I actually have been thinking about it. Wouldn't it be funny to set up a GoFundMe account for a sociological study expedition? Perhaps a scholarly paper on buffet behavior while at sea? Now, those T-Shirts. I'm leaning toward: NO BS. Eating crap + avoiding exercise ≠ health
  16. Somewhere there exists a clip of her dancing (rather senshusly [sic] and inappropriately) for Hunter in his room.
  17. I just wanted to mention that to "sell out" the number of cabins she has blocked she would need 300 people because the fares are based on double occupancy. The "single supplement" is usually 100% for higher priced cabins/staterooms perhaps 75% for insides and outsides. That's why there is some discussion on sharing cabins. I have a really hard time believing there are that many followers who would sign on and actually go on the cruise.
  18. Actually she is ignoring the question about the type of cabin for the stated price. I strongly doubt it is a mini-suite or even a balcony even though she clearly had a balcony when the arabesque/sprained toe incident occurred. My rough calculation of what is included in the price (tax, port fee, automatic gratuities, soft drink package, souvenir cup) adds up to $277.50. I don't have any idea what the special excursion might be or the value of it. So, I am going on the assumption that they are getting an inside or ocean view and the 150 cabins will go toward upgrading the star and barnacles to balcony cabins or mini suites.
  19. OK. I could book an inside for $598, an outside for $639, a balcony for $768 and a mini suite for $1145 today. Prices usually decrease as sailing date approaches. So now we know how much extra it will cost to rub shoulders with Twit and the Barnacles. Having been on the same cruise line with a large group of Goths I remember that they were somewhat sequestered. I wasn't in the group but for the fun of it attired myself in Steampunk and blended in on formal night. Yeah, I'll pass on the opportunity to be one of the NOBS AT SEA.
  20. So I looked around to see if Deep Fried Masters was available anywhere for viewing. (Yes. YouTube for $1.99.) Came across some articles about the show. One of the judges is known as the Corn Dog King, another "invented" deep-fried Coke, deep-fried butter and deep-fried cookie dough and does so well that he only works three weeks a year. Yeah, I have been to my share of carnivals and fairs. I don't eat meat so there is a lot that doesn't tempt me. However, there is some fine Pad Thai to be had at the Woodstock, CT fair as well as enormous Cinnamon Rolls and Eclairs. At Marshfield, MA judging from the number of people walking around with one, it seemed as if the 1/4 lb maple glazed bacon on a stick was very popular. The Common Ground Country Fair in Unity, Maine boasts "healthy, Maine sourced, organic" fair food. For the longest time coffee was not permitted since it is not grown in Maine and the vendors who set up just outside the gates did great business. At the CGF the blooming onions, potato chips and maple doughnuts are quite delicious. (Sugar is not permitted to the best of my knowledge.) Grilled vegetables on naan was a favorite of mine. Now I am hungry.
  21. It is absolutely unbelievable that it is the same person in any of the ugly cry pictures and the recent FB glamor shot of her in bed in full make up. How does she do it? Is it photo editing or not?
  22. Well, you guys have evidently missed one of my favorite reality competition shows: Deep Fried Masters. It was on the Cooking Channel quite a while ago but I saw some re-runs more recently. The judges were quite colorful and had found success cooking carnival food. I found it especially interesting because the taste and creativity of the food was judged as well as the cost effectiveness of preparing it in quantity. If you can find it I highly recommend it. I think there was only one season which is a real shame. Similar, but not quite as good is Carnival Eats. The host goes from carnival to carnival tasting GIANT portions of artery cloggers. I haven't checked to see if Spam is in there somewhere but I wouldn't be surprised because chicken gizzards were featured at one fair.
  23. Actually quite a while ago Dot asked about the where abouts of the original Steve Purrwin. I do recall there having been a cat by that name a few seasons ago. Since I usually listen to this freak show rather than give it my full attention I have no idea what the other Steve looked like but I am sure there was one. People acted like it was a clever name because they know that they have to treat her like an overgrown 3 year old. Bribe her, coddle her, and reward her no matter how little she deserves it.
  24. When I saw that scene with the foreknowledge that Mr. Pigglesworth had probably left this earthly sphere it crossed my mind that it had been filmed after the family had learned the news. I think it is likely it was filmed much later than the incident. How long had Alastair been gone? Had there been any mention of visiting him before this episode? I think it was a way to flesh out the storyline.
  25. Thanks for filling me in on FunDip. Meanwhile, I checked out her fabulous facebook page and given how her apparel looks truer words were never written:
