  1. Aisha was on Larry King Now last week talking about why she left the show, diversity in Hollywood and the Trump administration: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xRLPMQ8NIko=10s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iwbl3gzcUV0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jzxRe3PTI64 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Qo3ZwM4kY
  2. I'm missing Garcelle too! Today's guest co-host Sabrina Soto has been on once before and while she seems like a pleasant person, she was just kinda there. She didn't fit as well as Garcelle imo. And that's the Sheryl I like to see. I don't know how long it'll last, but I'm enjoying it. Julie doesn't want not to say anything that might piss Mr. CBS off, I guess.
  3. To be fair, Sharon did manage Ozzy and other rock bands and created Ozzfest. In a perfect world she would've remained behind the scenes and not assaulted our TV screens.
  4. Thanks, bich. I hate when she stays too long on certain topics too. Usually that would annoy me as well, but since Wendy likes to pretend she's in her 20's rather than her 50's by giggling about going to the club and rocking booty shorts, I didn't mind. She wants to be one of the "cool kids". *eye roll* AWLRIGHT?! Ms. Wendy struts around bragging about being thin and her skin looks like a Shar-Pei's. No, ma'am. Exactly.
  5. It's only day 3 and I'm already forgetting most of what she's discussed in Hot Topics. She didn't talk about Dancing with the Stars, did she?
  6. There's a name you don't hear that often anymore. 10 years ago you couldn't turn on the TV or pass a magazine rack in the grocery store without seeing her face and then time went on and POOF. That'll end up happening to the Kardashians too. I'm surprised the hosts aren't annoyed by it and tell the warm up guy to tone it down. I'm happy to see Aisha's back as a guest co-host tomorrow, but isn't it kind of soon? I know this will never happen, but in my dreams Sharon fake cries about catching Ozzy screwing the housekeeper, milkman and twenty other people and she leaves the show to "heal and find herself". Then Aisha says she's coming back and Garcelle is hired to take Sharon's seat. *sigh*
  7. Daytime hasn't been the same since Oprah left and nobody's been able to fill her shoes. As for OWN, it has some good shows. I don't watch the scripted dramas like The Haves and Have Nots or Queen Sugar, but I like Iyanla, Fix My Life and Holly Robinson Peete's reality show with her family. I wish Oprah would show more reruns of the talk show. There's 25 years worth of shows just collecting dust.
  8. I like Wanda too. Anyone remember Bonnie Hunt? I liked her talk show she had about 10 years ago and would like to see her on daytime again.
  9. I was bummed to find out it got canceled. It aired too late at night for me to watch during the week so I'd only see Friday episodes and one night I flipped over and some infomercial was on. I found a link to their YouTube page and saw that the final episode aired almost a month prior. Garcelle said she'd wanted to do daytime TV since she'd be able to spend more time with her boys and work on other projects. TPTB had better hire her and soon! Lol. The one thing I'd wish they'd dial down on is the constant clapping. Something I like the hosts do is go into the audience and shake hands with the audience at the end of every show.
  10. T.I. isn't my favorite person, but I didn't mind him shading Wendy. She's always the first to make fun of other people's looks and bodies so she gets what she deserves when she's given a taste of her own medicine. Plus he just said the things Wendy has said about herself and if he'd really wanted to hurt her feelings he'd have thrown in a lot more personal insults. I did laugh at her shading him about putting lifts in his shoes though. ;) Day 2 and Wendy is still playing nice with Suzanne and Norman. We'll see how long that lasts... I looked it up last night and sure enough both she and The Real's second shows are airing on VH1 in the same time slot that they aired on BET.
  11. Damn those Mr. Magoo glasses of Ms. Wendy's! Got her thinking she's a super model and she's.... NOT! SMH. I'm sure she'll be throwing more shade at T.I. for what he said about her over the weekend. Lol. I noticed BET replaced Wendy with Martin reruns last weekend, but they kept The Real reruns. Weird.
  12. Garcelle Beauvais (aka Fancy from The Jamie Foxx Show) is guest co-hosting all this week. I enjoyed her on a show she did on Fox called Hollywood Today Live with Ross Matthews. She's smart and funny and I'd like to see her join this show.
  13. The vibe is definitely off without her. I hope they bring back Carnie, Pat Harvey or any other guest co-hosts who fit in with the regulars next week. Lol. She looks like an owl with an awful dye job.
  14. I liked yesterday's show with Shemar Moore guest hosting, but this week so far has been meh.
  15. Since we know that Holly won't come back, who would you like to see for Aisha's replacement, Neurochick?
  16. Wouldn't surprise me at all with those types. *shakes head* It didn't seem like Aisha was gone for good. More like she was away working and would be back later. Julie, yes, the Sharon vs. Kim K. story is non-news, but so is everything that has to do with Sharon. You all can act like it's earth shattering, but the rest of us don't give a shit. "Kim was attacking me for saying something I didn't say!" Except you did call her a ho so....
  17. Unless my channel guide got it wrong, Wendy's gone all this week too. I don't remember her ever starting a new season so late.
  18. Classic Pennywis- I mean, Sharon. She starts off with a good point then sends it all to hell with personal insults. I didn't know Jack and his wife are expecting again. Congrats to them! I don't mind male co-hosts every now and again, but don't want a permanent one. Wayne Brady aside, I think the other actors are on the NCIS shows so that's why they're sitting in this week. He almost choked her to death. I read an article from well over a decade ago where she talked about it like it was a harmless lover's spat. T-W-I-S-T-E-D, those two. As for the Kardashians, it's only a matter of time before they go back to obscurity. I read their show's ratings are going down (I used to watch the first few years, but got sick of it after Kim's divorce). The reason they've managed to extend their relevancy is because there's so many of them and they have Kris, the wheeling and dealing momager.
  19. Talk Soup was the first thing I saw Aisha in: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=40FZMgJdqFM . I liked this skit too: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yXxZKdF0SN4 .
  20. Jackie sounds like she's been watching too many Mob Wives reruns with that shit.
  21. I tuned her out after the first couple of sentences. I did catch her making it a point to mention that Aisha made her own decision to leave the show and she wasn't ousted. Thank goodness she did because EVERYONE thought she was fired. *eye roll* In the words of the late MJ, you are not alone!
  22. You're welcome. The kid in me is screaming "I WANT IT NOW!". Lol.
  23. BWAH! I meant I couldn't picture it in my mind. Not that I try to picture such things... ;)
  24. That was a wonderful send-off and I enjoyed seeing the old clips (especially the Jacksons one where she fell). Aisha is one of those people who seems like a joy to work with and when she leaves a place she could pop back in anytime and be welcomed. Like Meredith Vieira... but with panty hose. ;) I knew I'd miss her from the moment she announced she was leaving, but now I'll miss her even more. Right? Hopefully they had one after the show. Monday's show is a rerun so I'm guessing the rest of the week will be too. Seems a bit early to be taking the rest of the summer off, but the less Sharon, the better for me.
  25. And take that shiny Party City wig with her.
