  1. Michel'le. She's a singer from the late 80's/early 90's and has two kids fathered by Dr. Dre and Suge Knight. Dr. Dre beat the hell out of her back in the day. As for her voice, she talks over her larynx so that's why it's so squeaky. Her singing voice is really strong: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VMQ5b9sSF_0.
  2. It was random and through parts of the show off for me personally. Now all we need is for Garcelle to be given the second seat and we're really in business. She wasn't as overly chatty as usual, which I liked. I was sorry to hear about her depression, but also glad that she spoke about it and is helping others who are struggling. I wasn't surprised to hear that Matthew Knowles was dismissive when she first came to him about it. I was doing something while the show was on in the background so I missed it, but really? Messed. Up.
  3. He went IN!: https://www.bet.com/celebrities/news/2017/10/13/wendy-williams-50-cent.html. I do have to say I agree with what Wendy said in regards to 50 publicly fighting with his son. It's pathetic. I like some of his songs, but I never cared for him as a person making sexist and homophobic remarks. "Angry and bitter" is spot-on. He and Ms. Wendy certainly have that in common.
  4. No need to apologize. Speak your mind, girl. :) The "tries too hard to be funny" bit is what annoys me most about her. She needs to calm down and dial it down. The good news is Garcelle's back on Thursday! You know, I was surprised at how much I enjoyed Kris when she guest hosted for a month. Certainly didn't want her as a permanent host (and still don't), but she was enjoyable. Can't say the same for that talk show she had a few years back. I watched about 5 minutes of it and flipped the channel. Hee! She wasn't as bad about it here as she is on DTWS thankfully.
  5. Maybe she got nervous about them questioning her marital drama and decided to cancel? I don't think I've seen her on any show since Big Kev got caught out with the mistress. I'm perplexed as to why anyone would ask Wendy for advice about anything, but they gotta fill up airtime somehow, I guess. Of course Wendy sweeps 50 Cent's tweets under the rug. LOL.
  6. Carrie Ann is back tomorrow (YAY!) and Wednesday and Michelle Williams from Destiny's Child fills in on Wednesday. Not too sure how I feel about Michelle. She seems nice and all, but she talks too much sometimes. Oh, I'll try to find the link, but the other day I saw an interview with Julie where she said a new co-host will be announced by Thanksgiving. December at the latest.
  7. I got the plastic surgery part of it, but Sharon said there was a third woman when the others mentioned Goldie and Meryl being in it. Eh, she talks nonsense most of the time anyway. Lol. Sheryl was hired immediately before season 2 and I remember Aisha getting the gig a month after, but since they're only down one host and not two, I think they're taking their time trying out potential hosts. I didn't know much about Carrie Ann outside of DWTS, but like Garcelle, she fits in well. I like her laugh.
  8. I'm confused. I haven't seen Death Becomes Her in years and what I do remember is that Meryl Streep and Goldie Hawn were the main actresses, but who was the third woman Sharon was referring to? And it's not the first time Sharon's inappropriately touched someone on the show. A few years ago Naomi Campbell was a guest and Sharon stood behind her while groping her breasts at the end of the show. I wouldn't have blamed Naomi if she'd given Sharon a good smack for that crap. I did too. She was very careful not to name or hint at who the person was, but I figured it was someone from that show. They should address this tomorrow: https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2017/oct/10/i-am-woman-racist-dove-ad-not-a-victim.
  9. Vicki lives in her own world. Which also explains why she's a "friend in Wendy's head". Although I still watch most of the Housewives, I enjoy the Potomac and Dallas ones more since they haven't crossed over into darker territory... yet.
  10. I knew that was a movie, but didn't know it's a book too. Thanks for the recommendation. The Hiding Place is my top 5 favorite Holocaust memoirs. I just started Tears of the Desert by Halima Bashir. She was a Sudanese doctor who was forced to escape to the UK after she was raped and tortured for informing UN investigators about a government-supported attack on local schoolgirls and their female teachers.
  11. There was an episode maybe last season or the one prior where Erica's voice was acting up and she left the stage. Somebody told Tina to go out and sing and she got that mike and told the cheating story like it was the first time she was sharing it with another person. If I'd been Erica I'd have snatched that mike so fast and croak out whatever song that came to mind! Lol.
  12. Ha! The only way I would mistake Carrie Ann for Julie is if she piled all that hair on her head. Girlfriend loves those clip-ins. Back to Carrie Ann, she was good. The producer who wanted a threesome with her and the other woman was beyond sleazy. Blech! That story made me sick too. That poor woman is being victimized all over again. Am I the only one who didn't understand the hoopla surrounding the Dove commercial? I hadn't seen or heard anything about it until I saw the show and immediately I recognized that the ad was saying Dove works great on all skin types. I would've liked hearing Aisha's perspective on it. Hell, Garcelle's too. I kept waiting for Sheryl to mention the morphing bit at the end of Michael Jackson's Black or White video since she loves to reference older things.
  13. Despite his ego knowing no bounds, I doubt he'd actually go on Wendy's show too. Vicki should've brought her a casserole today. ;) Lol. I saw Ally co-hosting on another show a few months ago and she wasn't so obnoxious. I like Ashley Banfield. I wanted her to be a co-host on The View back when I still watched it.
  14. LOL! I really should know better, but I was surprised to hear Wendy say she wants to interview OJ. I'm not interested to seeing or hearing from him either, but like what Mindthinkr said before it's all about the ratings and $$$ for her. I haven't been watching much Hot Topics the last two days, but I'm excited for Hot Talk tomorrow. Time to get some different opinions from people that don't kiss Wendy's ass.
  15. Me neither. I don't know if this had anything to do with it, but she mentioned that her father unexpectedly passed away a few weeks ago. It's sad when people, male or female, go overboard with plastic surgery. It's meant to enhance your appearance. Not deform you. Unless of course you're Sharon. All the plastic surgery under the sun can't give you a soul. Does anyone remember if the hosts congratulated Roselyn on her pregnancy when she guest hosted back in the summer? I noticed her baby bump today and found it odd that no one said anything.
  16. I never really watched Sex in the City (I was more of a Girlfriends fan), but hasn't Kim Catrall pulled stunts like this before? I'd drop her ass too. I can't stand difficult people. I'll have to catch the rerun since today's show was canceled for the news coverage, but it was wise of Wendy to just give her thoughts and prayers to the victims and go back to screwing up the latest gossip.
  17. She said she wanted to eliminate stress and part of that stress involved working so closely with Vince. She just wants them to go back to being husband and wife for awhile. THIS! I know she's crawling under the covers every night bawling her eyes out.
  18. HA! Loads of women are getting butt implants it wouldn't surprise me if Koo Koo Cruise did too. Even before he jumped on Oprah's couch like a kindergartner on a sugar rush there was something shifty about him I never trusted. I don't know about the rest of the week, but Vanessa Marcil is listed as the guest host for tomorrow and Tuesday. Hopefully they'll hire Garcelle before the end of month. I don't see anyone listed for Wednesday, but Roselyn Sanchez is filling in Thursday. I caught the first half of today's show and I'm glad they focused solely on the horrible shooting that took place last night. It seems like every other minute there's a new mass shooting tragedy. Sad.
  19. Tina and Teddy need to divorce already. Constantly rehashing the cheating and his harem isn't doing anyone a bit of good. Neither is bringing another child into the mix. Lord, I hope she's not pregnant again.
  20. Yep. The best part about it was Tamar wasn't even being shady or messy when she said it. I remember the first few seasons of the show she'd tell the young "struggling" starlets to go "find a rich count" to take care of them so they don't have to keep recording albums no one buys or making movies that flop. If Wendy had looked like Ciara, Rihanna or any of the other attractive women she's ragged on for years she would've used her looks to get by and it's sad.
  21. Um, why is Sharon so eager for Tom Cruise to appear as a guest all of a sudden? Please keep his nutty psycho ass away from here. What'd you guys think about Vanessa Lachey guest co-hosting? I don't want her for a permanent replacement, but I liked her.
  22. As much I despise Sharon, I had a good laugh when she shaded Wendy Williams today. She's (Sharon) a hypocrite since she acts like anyone cares about who Ozzy is cheating and whether or not she'll take him back, *said like Sharon* However... I like when other celebrities drag Wendy for her mess. Even better was Sheryl's "God don't like ugly" and calling Wendy out for talking shit about other people's lives and relationships when that toad frog she's married to is embarrassing her for all to see. Wave that finger like Shug Avery if you want to. You're the fool with the ring. Sharon went back to making me ill when she was getting all chummy with Dame Judi Dench. Exaggerate that accent all you like, Mrs. You're still trash so know your place.
  23. You're welcome, rcc. :) Made me miss her on the show even more.
  24. That reminded me of the ATL Housewives reunion just before Apollo "went away" and Phaedra kept waving her ring around and reminding everyone that unlike Kenya at the time she had a huuuuuzband. Never mind that said huuuuuzband was on his way to prison for fraud and had gone out of his way to embarrass and disrespect her before he got locked up. Keep waving that ring and reminding everyone who the real fool is.
