This video. I know it has been around for a while but it really infuriates. From the nail and face painting, to MEchelle constantly handing out glossy photos of the family and being sure to point out which one she is, to going to take a gift of food to a family of 14. Do they not even realize that when they go to the store to buy food for their family, they have multiple carts full? The amount they brought for that family was disgusting. All the while, I am sure they were encouraging them to keep trying for more blessings. The constant talking about going to spread the gospel by making people watch idiotic skits and then giving them a little bag as a gift (containing ramen noodles and a sucker- or something like that). I'm sorry, but these trips are just disgusting. Take the money you spend on the damn flights and give the people food. Leave it up to Josh to "spread" the gospel. I find a deep sense of disrespect in everything they do in El Salvador.

No doctor here- just a lover of natural medicine. I have to jump in. I have experienced UTI's and had friends that have been cured with apple cider vinegar (organic and with the mother). I am sorry to say that I missed the meeting last night at RU. I do PTL for all of you that made it. Josh thanks you. PTL. I did send myself to the prayer closet today for missing sermon. In there, I had a wonderful vision for a new reality show. Send someone to live with the Dugs for 6 months- kind of like the torture Josh is accepting. Who would you send? I actually liked the fact that Jill and Derrick decided to allow the children to dress up and act like normal children for once. What disgusts me is Derrick giving the one box of donuts to the homeless people that he got for free. SICK. Donuts are not a meal- just as ramen in a cup of warm tap water is not a meal. If he really wanted to be a good samaritan, he could have picked up an actual meal and paid for it and took it to them. This one really rocks my cradle and they just lose more and more respect with every post. And let me state for the record that I do not have much respect for them in the first place.

It's really interesting that these parents spend so much time keeping track of their children when they are adults, but as children, they could give a care less- passing them off at 6 months to a slave. They had enough car seats to drive across country after Joshgate2. So they still have enough. I was snarking at the 50 carseats. This is not a valid reason for Anna to stay with Josh. The truth is, she doesn't really have a valid reason - unless she just doesn't want to leave him. Women do it all the time that have MUCH less. I'm TOTALLY with the poster that said the best thing Josh could do would be file for a divorce. He is not going to change- no matter how many Cisco and bondage programs he endures. People divorce and kids live through it. Anna may even meet a nice fundie in the future that wants the same things she does. Divorce happens all the time. Don't quote me, but isn't it over 50%? People live through it and most of the time are happier after getting rid of the baggage. (See, I did learn something from the Friday night sermons. ;) I'm cracking up thinking of Anna one day homeschooling and calling the kids M1, M2, M3, M4. And I seriously hope the numbers end there.

If this really was his train of thought, he should be very concerned about filling up a house with children and dying at age 50 - especially with a wife that will most likely never be able to have a job that would support a family. Derick's mom had a career and only two blessings.

I totally agree with you. I watched it as well and thought about Jill and Derrick. If you only look at the money for the flights, they could have bought about 20 families stoves or many other things to make their lives better. It really was sad to see how the people live and the children having only tortillas for a meal. All I could think of was Jill and Derrick taking photos buying a big box of groceries, sugar cereal and so on. Oh, and eating take out pizza. It really is disguting.
