I actually think he loves it. I think it makes him feel important and I wouldn't be surprised if he were actually the one calling the evil tabloids with stories to make sure he stays in them.

Another southerner here! My dad is from NOLA. I always loved going there to visit family....and eat:) Trying to get DH to go there for our anniversary this year.

I have to take up for Reese Witherspoon. We are the same age and hung around the same circle of friends in our tween years. Her dad was also my ENT doctor and my kids. She was visiting him at the office one day (after she had become famous) while I was there with my daughter and she was playing with her while I checked out and was very respectful and friendly to all the staff. We have a lot of celebrities in my area but the unspoken rule is they are regular people, don't harass them and they don't get special treatment for the most part either. The only two I've ever seen who acted horrible were Billy Ray Cyrus and Wynonna Judd. This was at a charity event in the 90s where Wynonna treated the staff working the event like her personal servants (her mom apologized for her behavior) and Billy Ray Cyrus was trying to have a group of people thrown out of their VIP area that they had paid for, for his entourage. He was asked to leave.

Comparing Janelle to Farrah...both are vile. That said while Farrah does not know how to relate to Sophia or spend true quality time with her, if anyone ever tried to hurt her, Farrah would kill them. Janelle is the type I can easily see letting her boyfriends abuse her kids and come up with reasons to justify it. Uncle Bad Touch told Jase he acted like a girl and called Kaiser Roll a bitch just like his dad. Janelle did nothing. Can you imagine what Farrah would do if anyone dared to speak about Sophia that way? Farrah has also not brought anymore kids into her messed up life. I have to say Farrah is the better piece of trash.

I agree. It has nothing to do with her "virginal" status and more to do with, they are not starting a new life together as much as having a party and getting a legal piece of paper. They have 2 kids together and have bought 2 homes together. Their lifestyle is already that of a couple that has been married for several years. I also do not believe Ryan has TBI or he and Jen would be shouting it from the rooftops. My brother is an addict and my mother is an enabler as well. She will come up with every reason on earth to explain that nothing could possibly be his fault and that would be her Ace in the hole. I don't think Maci calls him a drug addict in public because she wants to shelter Bentley.

Babs would probably raise that kid too. My mom was a teen mom and basically dumped us off on my grandmother, when my brother had kids in his 30's he dumped them off on her too, so she raised her kids, grand kids and is now raising a set of great-grand kids. I really don't get people like Janelle who clearly don't want kids but keep popping them out.

Rebecca has never been one of my favorites, but in this instance I’m on her side. It sounds like her and Abe tried to help Sabrina and she ran off. Her and Abe have had to deal with quite a few people in their lives with substance abuse problems and that can really take a toll on a person when they see someone they care about self-destructing. On top of that she is a mother to two small children that I’m sure she wants to shelter from that type of drama (I know she’s on a reality show and a drama queen but she does seem to keep her kids off camera as much as possible). I have not seen Rebecca insult Sabrina, even when being attacked by her, she just disengages. Additionally, in my opinion, Sabrina does NOT seem clean. She may be off heroine but her demeanor suggests that she is still on something. Sabrina is the aggressor demanding Rebecca apologize to her while she insults her. She takes no responsibilities for her actions and seems to put forth no effort to make amends to others. She also does not appear to be putting much effort into getting her own child back.

It is a show on cults. Even with their guard up on the tell nothing, Christine reiterated over and over again how they come from a religion fearful of outsiders. Kody mentioned a few times that their "wedding" ceremonies are very secretive. Kody seemed to think that it was perfectly normal to tell a small child that he would pick her husband. Any "religion" that is fearful,secretive and allows others to have complete control over any other human being (Kody thinking he should choose who his daughters spend the rest of their lives with) is a cult.

Am I the only one terrified that we'll see a story soon about Kaiser being hospitalized or worse? Uncle Bad Touch is extra scary. We all know he's eventually going to beat the crap out of Janelle if he hasn't already, but he's the only man ever featured on the show I feel like is a real danger to the kids.

Regarding the girlses and cheer, maybe Leah could look into another gym where they offer a squad for special needs children. Our gym has a special needs team where Alli could cheer in her chair and every competition we go to has at least three special needs teams. Of course with Leah and company,it has probably never occurred to them that there are activities geared toward special needs kids.

I agree with you 100%. I just think the baby is safer with him then Janelle, or as the Ashley put it, better off with the fry cook at Burger King then with any of these people. Poor baby.

I agree that Nathan is not parent of the year material, he really doesn't even seem to be parent material. That being said, I would not fear for the Roll's safety with him as I do with Janelle and Uncle Dave. I can easily see Janelle leaving him in his room to scream as she does so often, and anger issues Uncle Dave getting sick of it and going in there to "shut the kid up" or "give him something to cry about". I truly worry that that baby will be hospitalized or dead with that man around him.

Maybe Little Lauren Boles can teach acting classes for NuCiara and KM. I really don't understand the SORAS of Chase and Ciara. So far their dialog would have fit the younger characters better, especially Ciara wanting Bo and Hope to start planning a wedding less then 24 hours from Hope and Aiden's wedding.

I think since Meri is no longer his legal wife, unless she was smart enough in the divorce to request spousal support (doubtful), that she's out of luck. Meriah is also probably out of luck finacially if Meri leaves. It is very common for young adults to have to bear the responsibilty of college tution on their own. I'm pretty sure Meriah would be in the same boat and with what we've seen from this family I don't see Janelle or Christine helping her out and you know there in no way on earth Queen Robyn would dare allow Kody to spend a dime on her.

I do think Abby can be redeemed and I don’t want to see another legacy character killed off but she needs to be recast and be off screen for a while. When she comes back she needs to have people side eye her the way they side eyed Chad when he came back to town. Maybe she could bring a back from the dead Will back with her. With her background she could become a great grey character, she just needs to be treated as a grey character instead of the special snowflake princess.

The character assassination of Aiden is making me turn off the show again. After AS and JS left the show I pretty much quit watching. Not because I was an Ejami fan, I prefer Sami with Lucas or Brandon, but because the show had become boring with no storyline left that interested me. Hope and Aiden drew me back in. The acting was very good on both parts and I enjoyed having a mature, couple who were equals and mutually respected each other. Usually on this show either the woman is a damsel in distress or the man is a bad boy who needs “saving”. I liked that there was none of that with these two and they could still be fun and interesting. Then the new writers decided Aiden must be destroyed for Bo’s temporary return…. I shouldn’t be surprised with this turn of events. The 50th anniversary has shown me how bad the writers have destroyed characters over the years. Jennifer was my favorite character for years. Now I don’t even recognize her. She is a whiney, hypocritical, judgmental bitch. Her and Jack’s daughter should be amazing. I can’t stand the trollup. Not in a love to hate her way. I hate her in a must fast forward or delete way. I have loved to hate Sami, Kate, and Nicole other over the years. Those three whether I like them or not in their storyline are at the least always entertaining. Abby is smug and boring. I would love to see Abby leave Salem after this storyline and let another set of writers reboot her. Recast her and bring her back on in 2-3 years. Have people not welcome her back with open arms but side eye her and let her become the character she should be as Jack and Jen’s daughter.

This! I was never one to say I would quit watching because AS is leaving. However I think I will be leaving after she goes due to Saint Abby. She is just an insufferable as Babe. Do the writers not realize their key demographic is NOT going to side with the other woman? Between the incessant poor, pitiful Abby can do no wrong, and the other stories that only act to help lull one into naptime I think this show is over. I would normally still have Kate and Victor to look forward to but Vic is only trotted out about once a month and Kate is being thrown into pretty, boring Rafe's orbit again.Why do the writers think bringing Melanie back is going to help? I was happy to see her go and don't know of anyone who was upset to see her leave. Her return just means more airtime for Maggie, Jen, Dirty Dan and Abby. No thanks.
