  1. It was a video on MTV I know that much. The singer was a white male. It wasn't country or r&b. The subject matter was pretty sad so I'm not sure what category of music to attribute it to.
  2. I remember feeling that way about Sydney's love life on Providence. Tyne Daly is why I decided to start watching back when it first began on CBS. I wish they had done better when it came to writing for the young girl who played Amy's daughter on the show too.
  3. I can't really remember the song itself. I do remember parts of the music video for it though. I've used multiple search engines, reworded search terms and tried YouTube until the cows come home over the years. The music video from either the late 80's or early 90's had a guy who lost his wife or girlfriend. She was shown underwater and a phone was involved in them trying to communicate. It's not much to go on and I'm not really expecting this personal mystery to be solved. Can't hurt to try to get help with it.

  5. Kelly Clarkson has been making music about her divorce. She and scrub of a husband had a prenup which he took issue with and ended up with him taking her to the cleaners.
  6. I forgot about Burgi. He did bring her to the land of the living. Too bad that whole mess around his firing happened.
  7. I was probably too young to have started thinking Sebastian was cute when I did. I loved seeing him on Gilmore Girls.
  8. They dated for a few years before getting married. I wonder if some of her behavior since the conservatorship ended played a part in things. I'm betting she probably quit any meds she was given to take during it.
  9. I thought Johnny and Katie got sent to boarding school or something? It's kind of sad that Victoria/ Amelia seems to have more chemistry with the guys who play her siblings, instead of the men they've actually paired her up with since Billy Miller left.
  10. I might believe them more if that conservatorship wasn't still in place. Of course they have no problem ending it now after how many years and how much money?
  11. Toxic Positivity is a thing. I wish it didn't have to exist. It sucks to feel like you can't express how your feeling in a place where you're comfortable when your mental health has taken a beating due to life events. Then while being in that headspace to have someone they don't want to hear/read it, I've found quite a few people online and off who like to say things like that only to find out they don't live up to the expectations they set forth to others. TicketMaster is a company that's needed to be brought down for at least a decade by this point. Instead they've been allowed to continue to ruin ticket purchasing and control pricing. I was in the hospital recently and had to deal with a night nurse like this over an incorrect med that that she had been trying to get me to take. She yelled at me all the while refusing to listen or check when I told her the med I needed was spelled differently and didn't come in the dose of the one she had given me. I take two where the generic spellings are super similar. I had to get to people above her the next day to tell them what happened. The next night she gave me the right med without mentioning anything about any of it.
  12. Sandra Bullock just lost her longtime partner a little over a week ago who she was helping care for to ALS. I think that was previously mentioned in this thread. Meanwhile some of these people on Twitter are wanting her Oscar to be revoked over a character she played 14 years ago. She'd probably give back all the Oscars in the word for him to have never gotten sick in the first place.

  16. I've felt like the only person to remember that show. I've mentioned it to other people only for them to say they never knew it existed. I liked it for what it was back then.
  17. I think they're called "Women's Study Bibles". Jokes on them though I've never read a bible and never intend do. I started wondering how in the hell people could live their lives based on a book written so long ago when so much had changed since then.
  18. I started interacting with some of my A-hole father's family after my Mom died. Everything went ok basically for the first year since the only religious stuff they'd mention was wanting to pray over me before going back home a state over. They'd drive from there and thankfully drive back in the same day. After about a year an Amazon box appeared on my porch in December when I knew I hadn't ordered anything. Inside the box was a "woman's" bible and just seeing it made me feel a sense of dread. Not long after that the aunt who posts and reposts religious stuff on her FB all day started sending me religious videos from an aspiring evangelist who at the time was being exposed because he was using that fact to lure and then sleep with teen girls who were over the legal age. The girls were all in different cities and thought each of them were his girlfriend all the while he was a married man. Once I googled and found out about all of that I got angry over the fact that she thought it was still ok to send his stuff to me. One of the videos was a spoken word thing to music where he dissed a particular antidepressant at the end. She knew I was on medication like that. She also started sending me FB messages telling me to read different passages of the bible they sent. After they started visiting they never asked if I was religious or not and just assumed. I never said anything either way in hopes they'd continue to not bring it up. Her FB messages sent me near the edge, so I got some help with writing out a request telling her to stop sending the different types of religious content. It was a respectful message asking her to stop without coming across as rude, angry or demanding. She replied going off on me somewhat in a FB message which I never really read in it's entirety, skimming the beginning was enough to know that she was sooooo offended. I just let her reply sit there for a couple months so the next time she messaged she acting like nothing happened. I kept letting them come over for a while longer until they started pushing me to contact said A-hole father who I haven't had contact with since the 90's when he gave up visitation rights. I slowly started to stop replying to any messages until I stopped completely. I could never have responded to her like I did if it was a face to face thing.
  19. I despise them too. If Im not expecting someone I don't answer the door. If I'm in the font of the house I'll go peep out of the kitchen window to see who it is. I spend a lot of time in my room near the back of the house especially during Summers like this. I'm always thankful I don't answer the door to anyone who knocks because I've dodged so many people from different churches trying to recruit. I'll find their business cards or flyers on the porch and sometimes door tags. I live in the South where there's a church on more streets then not.
  20. I used to like him then his vaccine tweet happened. Then I found out he appeared on Joe Rogan's podcast. He's also a Jordan Peterson fan too apparently. Zachary Levi Says His Joke About ‘Dumb’ Strike Rules Was ‘Taken Out of Context’
  21. Not surprising that there's more details about what's been going on. The cast along with the fans now are getting angrier and angrier that they've kept him around this long.
  22. This was on TVLine yesterday. https://tvline.com/news/how-to-watch-la-law-online-amazon-prime-video-streaming-1235021870/
  23. @GHScorpiosRule I can't remember what thread here L.A. Law was mentioned in or exactly when. I could have sworn you said something about wanting to watch it again. If it wasn't you sorry for this ping. L.A. Law is now available to stream on Amazon Prime.
  24. Going by the statement his family put out it sounds like it was mostly likely suicide.
