S13.E19: Reunion Part 1
yourmomiseasy replied to KungFuBunny's topic in The Real Housewives Of Orange County
I'm not sure Andy believes it himself, but he thinks we're all dumb enough that if he repeats it enough times we will. Not that I want to stick up for Gina, but I think what she was trying to express is people don't have affairs unless there are already issues in the relationship and those issues are what causes the divorce, not the affair. It is classic Vicki to go super low and then say she heard it from someone else and then justify saying it because of something really minor. It is also classic Kelly to go outrageously low at the first provocation, but at least Kelly feels bad afterwards, takes responsibility, and seems to realize it is something she needs to work on. I guess this isn't exactly in response to your post and more just a general observation. I loved Gina's look. But not in a it's good way. More in a it's purple and sparkly and my 5 year old inner princess is all about that way. -
They also showed a tube of chapstick in the washer or dryer, so not only is she misplacing the clothes, but she's not checking pockets and ruining them too. Caroline's frazzled manner when asked for a glass of lemon water or iced tea indicate she wouldn't be good in an emergency. Rhylee's been an asshole with an attitude since day 1. She's got a chip on her shoulder from always having to prove herself working her way up in a male dominated field, so it's understandable, but it doesn't make it right. She's had problems with just about everyone on board and doesn't respect the chain of command. Some may say it's justifiable in Chandler's case, but she's also had a problem being snotty with Kate more than once and Ashton and Ross have also complained about it. She said this episode that she was having a hard time not putting Chandler in his place or something like that, but as low man on the totem pole, it isn't her job to do that. Caroline was shown looking at a phone while making drinks of some kind this episode, so I assume she was using an app or googling recipes, but we've seen her have trouble with tequila shots, iced tea, a glass of water, and squeezing orange juice. There ain't an app in the world that'll help her. She has problems when asked to do more than one thing at a time. She can't figure out how to order and prioritize things and turns into a frazzled mess. I think her head would explode if she tried to play a time management style game. Caroline apologizing to the kid was creepy AF. If I was that kid and was upset after just cutting my foot and Caroline came over with her nervous energy and held my head in place and forced kisses on me I'd be scared and crying.

When the episode was over I was like "That's was it? That was the big blowout?" That was nothing. I don't think Jenni's crying and carrying on was in proportion to anything Jeff was saying in the moment. Maybe it was years of shit bubbling over. Maybe it was realizing her dreams were not going to come true, IDK. Her Nick Cage story was bullshit. Same BS you hear from anyone trying to be an actor -- "They offered me the part and I turned it down. Well, actually, they were just really interested, but there was no offer. Well, actually, there was an audition and I didn't even go to it." I also doubt she was asked to meet with an NBC bigwig and turned it down. More like she was trying to get a meeting and it kept getting pushed because they were not interested - it's possible they said they'd meet with her while talking at an event to be polite, but didn't mean it. Maybe I'm jaded but I live in LA and have seen this a million times. I see right through Jenni's lies and Jeff did too. They were not even creative lies, it was the same shit you can hear from any schmoe at any bar in Hollywood. Jeff is 100% correct that if any of these things really happened all you'd hear is the squeal of her tires. And he's right, her rapping is stupid. Team Jeff in the argument, but Team "this isn't even real and was made up for the show" overall.

S13.E18: Femme Finale

I think she said she was renting from her trainer, so my head canon is that it's her trainer's pool house. -

Someone posited in a previous episode thread that Eddie's new attitude towards Shannon is more about his friendship with David than it is about Shannon, and I think they are right.. Because Dirty John is premiering and they are comparing the Ickster's relationship with Brooks to that. Speaking of the scammer and her men, I realize Steve is sketchy and Vicki sucks, but I kind of like him for her. Kelly shouldn't be talking about anyone being unstable. Not leaving the house for a year sounds like a dream. I'm not good enough at Postmates, Amazon Prime, etc. to achieve it. It amused me that Gina's son was calling the casita her little house. I wonder if he couldn't remember the Spanish or just doesn't have time for that nonsense. -
Yeah, I figured since we're all Bravo's bitches we've probably all seen it. I don't even like that show and I've seen that movie roughly 875 times, all on Bravo, and every time I'm confused about whether or not I'm supposed to find it charming that the women all all overgrown toddlers.

One time my friend Samantha, she's a publicist, was going on a business trip to Abu Dhabi and she had all kinds of OTC hormone creams because she was going through menopause and they got confiscated on the way into the country. Then she got kicked out of the country for making out on the beach. She also almost started a riot in the souq by dressing scantily, yelling, and flinging around condoms.

I'd like to think they are making pina coladas without bottle mix being they grow pineapples in Tahiti. I'd also like to think they are utilizing fresh coconut instead of Coco Lopez, but that's a lot harder and requires a lot of prepping ahead of time. Although, it wouldn't be outlandish to have Adrian deal with the coconuts and make a stockpile of supplies every few charters.
-
And honestly, it isn't like she's being asked to make incredibly hard shit most of the time. I think we saw her get flustered on tequila shots.

Not only that, she said it was her happy place. -

Context, and most importantly, consent. It is on TV! I thought it was sunny side up, i.e. they look like fried eggs. I thought it was hilarious. I can't remember what LeAnne's deal was during the just hands, Maybelline compact tittie compress, and flesh eating bacteria drama, but I'm thinking it was that her nipples were all wonky and wall-eyed? So I took it as making fun of that. Only Kameron can be condescending when complaining about fine dining not being French fries. -
Yes, if I remember correctly, they were neon orange. I don't recall which of the two aux boats they were loaded on, but they definitely were taken.
-
It's not that they didn't bring the dry bags, it's that they didn't leave them. The bags were loaded up with the guests, but not unloaded.

I think the excitement is her trying to convince herself it is awesome and she's not just renting her trainer's pool house. Although it might also be that mentally she is a teenager. I don't think Spanish is obsolete anywhere. It might be obscure though. My point about it not being a mystery in So Cal was because that's where the "ladies" live. -
Say "yes sir" and keep on working.

Rhylee's prickly, Caroline is crazy, Adrian is a creeper, Chandler is douchey, Ashton is well intentioned but kind of a meat head, Ross seems like he just wants to keep his head down and work and earn that coin for his kid, Kate is Kate, and Josiah is the only gay one. Not a lot of relationship options, but as we've seen, some of them aren't above trying for a drunken hook-up. I think Adrian would try for a sober hook-up given more options or if he thought he had a chance with Kate.
-
She's been the same way with Ashton and Ross. He can still be a douchebag, but it doesn't negate her flaws.
-
Caroline is is like a raw nerve or a sore tooth. Just over sensitive and hurt by everything around it, whether offensive or not. She's so frazzled and overwhelm by drink orders that not only can she not handle doing service, but we've seen multiple occasions where she can't even coherently relay the requests to Kate -- she just ends up sputtering and babbling. On top of making mountains out of molehills at every perceived slight because of the oversensitivity, she's also paranoid. I do, however, love that she builds these imagined problems up in her head and then apologizes to smooth the problem over and no one knows what she's talking about because they are normal and didn't even know they were in a fight with her. Add her need to be coddled and to have everyone see and acknowledge her pain to the neurotic, overwhelmed, and paranoid mess and she's really just not cut out for anything in the service industry, let alone something high pressure like yachting.
-
Rhylee is right a lot of the time, but doesn't seem to realize that being right doesn't make her correct. She can't accept that most of the time it isn't her place to comment or question or explain. Chandler is useless, but imagine someone on the deck crew talking to the captain like Rhylee talks to Chandler or even Ashton or Ross. Most of the time it isn't what she's saying but when and/or how she's saying it. Also, I hate typing her stupid name.
-
Caroline and Rhylee seem to have the same problem with accepting feedback. Both need to question and talk over and explain what they are thinking. Rhylee seems to also always do it in a snotty manner. Both need to realize they are the bottom of the pecking order and just give an affirmative. The Rhylee/Ashton and Caroline/Josiah interacts were pretty similar, the deck one was just more aggressive.

I feel like the very next sentence in the post you quoted covered what the poster thought that meant. I know someone that did Santa Barbara to Glendale for while. He took the train. It didn't last long. He got a new job. -

He lives in "Northern LA", where ever that is. No specification on west, central, or east. But no matter what it would mean a lot of shitty driving in a lot of shitty traffic driving through a large swath of LA. At least Torrance to Irvine is opposite traffic (for what little good that does since it seems like it is still bad enough). He'd be with traffic getting up to LA and then probably opposite once in LA, but traversing LA in rush hour is bullshit no matter the direction. I think your estimate of 2.5-3 hours is not outlandish at all, as horrible as that sounds. That would have been a lot more expensive than the Costco/Sam's Club vase arrangements she picked up. Already happened in Jamaica -
To be fair, they probably just showed up for the open bar.
