  1. That painfully forced CamelBak advertisement was a new low for this show.
  2. Not stoked about the Klein family Jell-o commercial in the first segment. Do they really need to resort to product placement?
  3. Wow. Just started watching this episode-- I sincerely thought Chay was female, and I was very surprised that TLC was showing unblurred breasts during the shower scene. Back to watching...
  4. Not her anus but her upper inner thigh. Undoubtedly due to chafing, and, indeed, way more than we needed to see. :/ Poor kid.
  5. A couple of friends of mine did sort of the same thing. Jim and Teresa each kept their surname when they married (20 years ago this year). When T got pregnant, they decided that, if the baby was a girl, she'd take her mum's surname, and if the baby was a boy, he'd take Dad's. They presently have two teenaged daughters with their mum's surname, and it's never been a problem or source of weirdness in their family.
  6. Evil, horrible Gareth. His total glee while being an abusive asshole is really disturbing. Sociopath.
  7. Twenty years ago, an American friend of a friend married a British dude so he could get a green card. What I remember at the time was that they had to make a big pretense of being legit, because they were subject to interviews (and inspections?) by the US Immigration Dept. They had to provide evidence of a shared history, like photos and trips together, etc. What I keep thinking, as I watch Dani and Mo, is that, via their participating in this show, the immigration dept has a treasure trove of evidence to support the fact that this marriage is a total sham. Does anyone know how that works, these days? Does the immigration dept make any sort of effort to determine the validity of these marriages, or is it just, 90-days-and-done?
  8. Even though I've been keeping up with this thread since the ep aired last weekend (and I missed it), and I KNEW EXACTLY what was coming, I still couldn't get through the scenes with Danny's dad without shouting at my TV. Bigotry is so infuriating. I am seething.(On a lighter note, I was not at all prepared for Danny's dad's wannabe-Trump hairstyle.) But can I ask a question? Earlier in the ep, when Daya and Liverlips were scouting locations, this flashed onscreen. Y'all. WTF????
  9. OT, but am I the only person who reads 'Jinger' as JING-ger (rhymes with 'finger') EVERY DAMN TIME I see it?
  10. Tonight I noticed that Samuel is local to my area. But there don't appear to have been any articles about him in the local paper, which is odd.
  11. Living that modest lifestyle... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2827754/Jim-Bob-Michelle-Duggar-Instagram-recreate-daughter-Jessa-s-public-kiss-husband-Ben-Seewald.html
  12. 'I think of "bitch" as a term of endearment.' Ugh, Tim. I think that was the straw that broke my back.
