the half sibling part doesn't matter when counting degrees of cousins. Second cousins is accurate. Same degree of relation as BLQ and Drew, or Wiley and Scout. Though if you felt the need to be super exclusionary about it, then it's still the exact same as Wiley and Scout or Wiley and Danny since Drew and Jason were AJ's half brothers. Bring in adoption and that would make Wiley not a Q at all, and therefore NOT related (legally anyway) to any of them.

I just realized that if Nina and Sonny are legitimately a thing, Nina gets near to Avery. I am not ok with that. ETA: I realize this is more than a little hypocritical considering I didn't have much of an issue of Franco being near to Aiden, but the situations and motivations of those kidnappings are quite different and the absolute violence of what Nina did is just.... a lot to get past. Yes, I can tell you from personal experience that seeing pictures of a non-present parent (though thankfully not "dead") and seeing them in person after years is VERY different. I didn't see my mother between the ages of 5 and 9, though I did see pictures a lot when I was with her family. The first time I saw her again I had no idea who she was. I was older and had less reason to be freaked out than Scout and my reaction was... extreme confusion, shyness, and generally just "WTF is happening right now". Scout's reaction is perfectly fine.

I do not see the problem with Chris Pratt playing Mario (unless you have issues with him for other reasons) when John Leguizamo played Luigi in the last movie they made about this game. Plus, we don't actually have a voice actor from the GAMES to compare him to unless he's gonna go around yelling "hya, ho, ha, woo" through the whole game. It's definitely a slow news day since this info, and the people voicing displeasure about it, have been around for months. I know you gotta get the clicks, but can you not find something actually news worthy to "break". Nobody is giving Jack Black crap for playing Bowser, leave poor Jumpman Mario and his weird brother Luigi Mario alone. Also, the game and it's resultant tv shows and movie are definitely stereotypical and basically like the white people in Squid Game, what the people of that country see these foreigners as. In this case, it's Japan's view of Italians, but it's not new in any way.

Lets put it this way. I shipped Michael and Kristina back when DG was Michael, but Sam and Dante are still gross. That's not the level of relation, that's just them.

Yes, if they were desperate to bring on NP for TG's slobber toy then they should have made Ethan Mac's kid with some unknown woman (or, fuck it, Miranda if they wanted to futz with the past) and have him be his conman self who Luke takes under his wing because he's so disappointed in Lucky's rather bland lifestyle choices (he hated him becoming a cop from the get go). More Mac, less bullshit with Luke's past and generally more entertaining. (BTW, I liked Ethan, I like NP as an actor and I still didn't like him being Luke's kid.)

I think, if he survives, they might let the Sasha/Brando baby be the one with profound disabilities that needs extra care. They flubbed it with Donna, and I don't think that anyone reasonable would say that that applies to a child with Autism that seems highly functional. They keep teasing us with this kind of stuff, but they don't follow through. Since Sasha and Brando are more background it would be easier to have them dealing with that kind of issue than someone front burner.

I want to clarify my position a little bit. If Ingo and Steve genuinely feel this strongly about not getting vaccinated, for whatever reason (though I disagree strongly) then them sticking to that conviction and being willing to sacrifice their financial security in order to stand by them is .. kind of a good thing, though I hate to call it that under these circumstances. I find that conviction in total opposition to what I consider logic and care for others as well as themselves, and I worry about the consequences to their families, but I support their right to make that decision. However, I feel like people lining up to kiss Steve's ass on the way out the door is kinda gross and I wonder if they genuinely agree with him or are just trying to snatch a little publicity. In the case of the actors still on the show, do they agree about the vaccine? Did they compromise their own "morals" (I don't even know how to describe this) for a paycheck? And I don't care for any of it. I don't like either of these actors from what information I have heard about them in the past. Them not wanting to be vaccinated isn't the issue that makes me dislike them. I know people in real life who have decided for various reasons (mostly stupid ones in my opinion) not to be vaccinated, and I don't hate them, but I question their intelligence (one of these people is in freaking MEDICINE!!). I would be a huge hypocrite to bash on these guys while quietly minding my own business about people I actually know.

Yes, the absolute WTFery of how they changed Alex's entire character when she showed up on GH will never not annoy me. I mention this too often, but the way that they have background retconned Jason's role in Jake's life is stupid. HE DID NOT KNOW JASON BEFORE HE "DIED". He just didn't. He knew Jason's face as the one from Helena's Island, that's it.

Yeah, they were pretty stuck with that story since BLQ was faking a pregnancy by Valentin already when they did this.

With Drew around they have Danny and Jake's real dad back anyway, since neither of them ever was raised by Jason before he "died", this few years has been the only time they have really known him.
