  1. There are a couple possibilities with John that would not break me: 1. He's playing Carly for info. 2. He's flirting with Carly cuz he finds her attractive, but won't actually go there cuz he is a fed and knows she is willing to lie and commit crimes for mobsters. In fact, he knows Carly HERSELF is a criminal because her CRIMES is what he is holding over Jason's head! So being a law enforcement professional, he will decline to romantically persue a criminal, or, at least, this conflict of interest will keep it to flirting, if he must. So, of course it will be: 3. John is lobotomized by Carly's overwhelming beauty and unequaled character and not only gets involved with her, he will never turn over the evidence against her. 🤮😠
  2. I also LMAO at two senior officers giving Dex a private timed trial on the parking lot obstacle course. I particularly loved him running in tiny circles around a couple orange cones like he was taking a driving test without the car. And then picking up a gun pointing it through an inexplicable giant metal hoop right in front of him and emptying the clip. WTF?! 🤪 🤣 Dear John, you fuck that beast and we are THROUGH.
  3. Laura's (re)awakening about Sonny would be more palatable if it wasn't spurred by her wanting justice for her brother. And mixed with her softening on Heather, it is just off all very off putting. And the way she kept talking about how Sonny beat Cyrus with his OWN HANDS and couldn't even use his hand again for a week! Like that crossed the line for her. Okay, but gunshots and being blown up and stuff hurt too, Laura! And stop calling him a philanthropist, Ana! Sonny makes the vast majority of his money ILLEGALLY. Good Lord.
  4. She didn't ping my celebrity look-alike radar @Mondrianyone, but she kind of had a Laura Linney from Ozark vibe. Maybe even a Julianne Moore with gray hair.
  5. I think Friday's epsiode was new to me. Yeesh, kind of a mess. Feel bad for the son/family and hope they can move on now. Maybe they will sue the police department, but that will just consume more years of their lives. I was pretty shocked the bench trial ended in conviction with zero physical evidence. They really only had the ex-wife's statement and she did not witness the crime. The new reporter is okay. I appreciate that her wardrobe is "talking to you about your murdered loved one" understated. Her vocal approach is a bit too "AMSR anxiety reducing meditation" for me. Better than "I'm the star here!" Andrea. But I do prefer how Josh, Denis and Keith bring their own low-key charisma, while still being appropriate.
  6. They've turned Chase into some stupid schmoopy guy who makes ridiculous financial decisions based on masculine insecurities. He was perfectly confident and savvy when he was with Willow. I need Lois to leave NOW if for no other reason than I cannot bear to hear BLQZZZ say "Maaahhhhh" anymore!!!!
  7. I hadn't seen the Interrogation one before either. I was sure the girl was more involved but didn't suspect she was the instigator and her motive. Jeez, what a way to thank the two people in school who were actually nice to you. The parents are declusional if they think it is all the boyfriend's influence. I like the A&E show Interrogation Raw too, as it also features a lot of cases I've never seen before.
  8. The whole Curtis story is an affront to people actually living full lives in a wheelchair. Today he tells Portia he would still be stuck in the chair feeling sorry for himself if it wasn't for her getting him into the clinical trial. (She probably bumped some other person off the list). And of course, Curtis' "manhood" is back in full effect now that he can walk to the bedroom. It's like the message is that his life had little value while he was in the wheelchair. I simply can't bear the total absurdity that is Carly Nightingale. 🤢 Like she's not going to go home to Donna and is gonna sleep in a fucking chair all night to look after a fed she doesn't like when Jason is around. She's just selfless that way.
  9. Could this show BE any more up Carly's ass. First we get Liv trashing Nina's personnel management and decorating taste. Then Willow and Michael dismissing Nina in her own hotel. Then Diane blaming Nina for ruining Carly's life and "taking" her hotel, whilst praising Carly as being so super strong and resillient (It's pretty easy to be resilliant when others bail you out of every one of your problems and fuck ups your entire adult life). We get Jason leaving half his fortune to Carly. And finally, Carly brave and irresistable shows up to rescue John who I'm sure is just a couple agonizing episodes from falling for her. 😖 😠 🙄 🤮 Show should just go all the way and have random extras stop Carly in the street to tell her she's fucking amazing and Nina is a piece of shit. And then show Nina being mean to some kittens.
  10. I am watching! I'm glad they got rid of the "first group cooks while a peanut gallery of other contestants watches and some unseen guy calls time, then they serve the food to Greg and John in another room" first round. That was just dumb. I like this format much better. William Sitwell was quite nice to them, I guess cuz he has now been through it himsef! I guess they are releasing all 3 episodes for the week every Sunday, but it will still take me the whole week to get access to them.
  11. A lot of the characters are very bland. They keep having to put them in mortal danger, baby drama, or some other crisis just to juice a story out of them because their basic personalities and relationships on their own aren't interesting or magnetic. Back in the day, a rarely seen character with no story like Coleman had more charisma than some of these leads!
  12. Janelle's sad kitten baby voice act in the interview was such a bad performance. Mom's "that's my story and I'm sticking to it" wasn't any better.
  13. 20/20 was a new story and pretty good again this week. David Muir keeps it pretty newsy.
  14. Wow, talk about world's dumbest murderers. David Muir's incredulous face during his interview with the killers was pretty entertaining. This episode also featured the best victim impact statement I've ever heard. "Are you going to hell? Yeah, you're going to hell. And if I have to forgive you to avoid hell, I'll see you there."
  15. Was this shown last night? We had local news in the slot, so I figured it was a rerun. Was there any actual new information?
  16. Really enjoying that the new writers are presenting different sides of various arguments and the drama it creates. Love everyone being called on their shit. See old writers, is it SO HARD!!! OMG with BLQ insinuating mob violence on Blaze's mom for wanting to keep Blaze's relationship a secret. That was so vile. I really loathe BLQ. The older men on this show are smoking the younger set. No offense gratuitously shirtless Cody, but I'll take Brennan, John, Gregory or Mac anyday!
  17. Finally got around to watching Sunday's 2 hour episode which was listed as the new season's premiere. No murder, but that guy was piece of work. Couldn't remember if I'd ever seen the story before. Now this week looks like no episode Friday and a new one Sunday again.
  18. If they Franco Heather and Laura lets her anywhere near Ace, this will be utterly ridiculous. Between Kevin and Laura, that is quite the family of killers. And Alexis better not end up representing Heather after she gutted her BFF.
  19. What a busy day for Carly: praising Willow for breaking the law for Jason, undermining her daughter's resolve to stay away from her criminal ex, not helping with the lasagna, and trying to remember who Drew is.
  20. Jake lighting into Jason!! 😍 👏 SBu continues to... act! The hot guy from the training academy puts Anna on notice that they all know she is soft on Sonny. (Jordan should think about tapping THAT -not Drew!) Maxie looked great today, hair and makeup! Are we going to have to change it to That Fantasic General Hospital?! 🤞 Almost negating all this goodness was the evil that must be mentioned, Diane's shiny gold wrap chain belt. Again.
  21. Didn't we have two young brothers who were reconnecting and didn't seem to be taking the race all that seroiusy in the previous season as well? I think I liked them more though.
  22. Unfortunately, Dante had gotten to the point where he was constantly looking out for Sonny, wanting to investigate things for Sonny, and filling Sonny in on police investigations, so Dex might be an upgrade!
  23. Ugh. Every time producers try so hard to script a competition reality show so they are sure I will like it... I hate it! I will be shocked if this show sees another season.
  24. Looks like Sam had an extra cup of coffee to take on Jason after all her stoic moping for Dante. Go Sam! This falling out is more believable than her thinking he shot Dante. Can't wait to see the Carly/Sam catfight that ensues when Carly finds out Sam is trying to keep Jason's kid away from "the best man she knows!!!!!"
  25. Laura asks Curtis for his playlist! 😂 I really can't see them having the same taste in music. Hey I could be wrong and she and Kevin could be getting their groove on at home. Carly to John: "Jason is the best man I know, while you sir are an ammoral piece of shit corrupt FBI jerk who I shan't deign to let eat in my five star establishment!" I was so mad at him for apologizing to that delusional harpy.
