  1. I thought it was odd that Val let Kenny's change of story go unremarked. When they meet he claims he is separated, and continues to do so, and yet NOW he and Diane are talking about how unhappy they are in the marriage? Get 'em, Val.
  2. Tracy Gaylian is so bland, such a black hole of charisma, that she can't even be used in the dictionary to illustrate "bland" or "black hole of charisma."
  3. Also, Brandon Walsh's "BRAYsed Chicken Wings"
  4. David, "It's okay, MZA is not the only game in town." Then why are you being such a pissy little bitch (tm Andy Spiowicz) about this whole situation?!?
  5. Also, how could our hosts (and producer) hear the "Don't be ..Don't be ..Don't be" refrain of Bad Cow's "song" and not interject with " ...such a squeef!" I was waiting for it and was floored that it never happened.
  6. I wonder the same thing. I wondered when this first aired! She does not look younger than 50. And sadly, according to IMDB, the actress died in 2003 at age 62.
  7. The thing about Brandon's treatment of Susan is that he is acting like she did this on purpose and feels no remorse, while Emma Caulfield is acting the hell out of how badly this is tearing her up. He comes across like a sociopath, unable to sense/notice/process that she is in legitimate distress over this. I would buy his reaction if she were just trying to calmly argue the merits of her case, but in the face of her obvious upset he is monstrous.
  8. I just re-watched "Flashpoint" (the season opener) and noticed a nice point of continuity. At the end of Flash's battle with The Rival, Flash turns his back and begins to walk away from The Rival, who he believes is unconscious. The Rival gets up and moves to kill Flash, and Joe shoots The Rival, in the same way Iris does Savitar at the end. Barry--quit turning your back on unconscious foes!
  9. They guy playing Carl is store-brand David Conrad, down to the floppy center parted hair. He's less Prince Carl, and more President's Choice Conrad.
  10. Well then, she should've said, "I know." ;-)
  11. On iTunes is posted to my EHG feed, rather than AWT.
  12. Here's why I don't think I can watch this show: I read this recap by Tara and then literally had a nightmare about being trapped in this story.
  13. Well, as noted by his return--almost no time passed.
  14. I love that across the Berlanti-verse, flashback wigs are universally terrible. It's a nice constant.
  15. I had the exact same thought. And I am disappointed that future Cisco didn't think of it either.
  16. It's been years since I watched any DS9 and I never twigged to Ferengi=Space Jews until Dave mentioned it, and then like scales falling from my eyes, that's all I see now. And it makes total sense. Even The Rules of Acquisition are Talmudic.
  17. "Puritan feet can't cancel out Jezebel's midriff" is my new go-to aphorism.
  18. On the main podcasts page the Little House Podcast redirects to AWT entries.
  19. Joe goes from commenting on how his town was so poor there were never fancy cars, to telling Donna that she shouldn't feel bad about her circumstances and should enjoy it? WTH? Why not suggest that with her mother's connections and her parents money they create a program to fund/subsidize childcare in low income areas? No? Just enjoy your circumstances Donna? Okay.
  20. I have never understood--and always been vexed by--Brandon's diagonal part. It makes no sense. Was he born with a skewed head?
  21. It's amazing that in all the time Brandon has been "writing" he's never been able to move past sounding like the Narrator from "Our Town."
  22. Years ago someone in the Arrow writers room did a lot of research on the Russian mob, and by God none of it will go to waste.
  23. I can't believe the Game Time Smurfs question that ends with a description of Smurftopia being pre-industrial is then followed by a question about clockwork Smurf. Evil.
