This new version has never employed much logic in its storytelling. I watch this with zero expectations of continuity or sense. It’s like the cartoon version of Roseanne. I stopped looking for plausible circumstances a long time ago, but the stupidity of This current storyline for Darlene & Dan has taken the cake. What are the writers doing? Playing plot MadLibs?
