By consequences I just meant she gets arrested in that episode. And yeah, as Felicity managed to create and run a successful business under her own name, I just assumed whatever problem occurs gets mostly resolved either by the end of 721 or 722?

Well, I don't know about anyone else but this really came across like an exit episode. It wouldn't shock me if the original plan was for KC to leave and they recently changed their minds. Otherwise this whole episode just feels pointless. So, what? Laurel is gonna go back to E2 Honestly, I struggled to get through this one. On one hand it was beyond time to have an episode dedicated to an all-female team-up but on the other, this was just so poorly written and half-assed and made me annoyed at all the characters at times, even Felicity. Felicity was too OTT in believing in Laurel, even after her actions in this very episode. Dinah was too unbelieving and a complete hypocrite. I think Sara was probably the only one who made sense about the idea of redemption but it all came too little too late. And I'm sorry but backsliding into her old BS life and then saying "Oh I changed my mind!" is not a redemption. It's called "These Writers Can't Be Bothered." And the fact that BS is essentially still living E1 Laurel's life by wearing her BC outfit is yikes and creeps me out. There is no need for her to wear that outfit. She can still be BC number 5255 and wear something else. I think the only thing I truly enjoyed about the episode was the cute Felicity and Sara banter, Oliver calling their baby "Precious cargo" (MY HEART!!!) and Olicity chilling out on the sofa. I've also reached the point where I'm outright ignoring the flashforwards because I despise them. Truly the biggest mistake the show has ever made. HATE.

JH’s acting in that clip. Yikes. Also STFU Dinah. 🙄 I really thought they’d already dealt with the whole fallout of her losing her cry. It seemed pretty much concluded a couple of episodes ago. Have they run out of story for her? 🤔 Nothing is making me excited for this episode, especially not the prospect of more Dinah than I expected. Ughhhhh.

Roy coming back is cool but do we really need another episode of Dinah investigating? We're so close to the end of the season I'm annoyed we're spending any time at all on Captain Smug Face. No thank you goodbye. Also I really hope we get some cute moments with Olicity and baby Mia in 722. I need to see Oliver hold his daughter. I need it. 😭

It's possible. I never say never on this show anymore, haha. I think it could go either way. But you're right about Rene. He's done some bad things and sacrificing himself would be a way of making up for that, I guess? Plus RG did give off this really final vibe in a couple of his IG stories on his last day of filming. Maybe he knew he wouldn't be filming with the FF crew anymore? IDK. All spec, of course. I honestly don't care if it's the lamest, most contrived reason they use to have Felicity disappear off screen in the future, as long as it leaves hope/potential open for her to be reunited with Oliver in the end. I'd rather the future was erased completely but I get the sense they don't want to do that so I'll take my reunion 20 years later instead, if that's possible. Le sigh. I'm still bracing myself for the worst to happen though.

Sadly, that's what I've been thinking is gonna happen tbh. She'll do what Moira did. I hate it but I can't help it. 😔 It explains why she's not in the flashforwards in S8 as well as gives Mia another reason to become a vigilante like her parents and save the city. 🙄 I really hope I'm wrong. This is not the ending I want to see for Felicity after 20 years of hell and raising her daughter alone. PLEASE.

That is such a series finale title. If not for the crossover it really could’ve been a perfect ending. 😔

EBR’s posts do seem very final to me and nothing would shock me if she’s done done but I suppose it’s also too early to know if she’ll be back for the finale or something. If she does come back I could only really see it being for the series finale tbh.

Could they not have given her a new BC outfit? Their half-assed redemption doesn’t erase the fact that she’s not E1 Laurel. I find the whole thing so creepy.

To add to the discussion, that looks like KC to me, dressed as E1 Laurel's BC. I find that kinda creepy that she really is just taking over her life but it's nothing new or shocking so? It is kinda weird that they went to so much effort to hammer home that Dinah was BC but I guess they're going with the old "And you're a Canary! And you can be a Canary!" thing to satisfy fans? 😂

Congrats to EBR! But when does the new season usually start filming? Unless she has something else booked, it seems like there would be plenty of time to do some S8 episodes. I really hope she comes back for the finale at least. Crossing all the things right now!

It’s not ideal but I would take that ending. I’m desperate for any happy ending right now. But it’s only possible if they keep future Felicity alive and I’m 😬 about that at the moment.

IMO they knew ages ago EBR was leaving. William not knowing Mia was my first clue but what cemented my gut feeling about it was the fact that we saw Mia’s birth in 716. It felt like they knew she wouldn’t be around to film it in S8. They had to have known a while ago.

I’m really intrigued to know what project EBR has lined up that she couldn’t do any S8 episodes. I wonder when we’ll be finding out? Also, would they even know yet if they could persuade EBR to come back for the series finale? IDK it just seems too early to even say. I really hope she does come back for the end though. My only dumb hope is that Felicity doesn’t die in the future in 722 and we get an eventual Olicity/Queen family reunion because somehow Oliver isn’t dead (as the future currently implies). I hate the flashforwards but if they’re not gonna erase or change them, I’d even take that kind of ending right now.

I’ve been preparing myself for Felicity dying in the future for a while now but if this actually happens - Felicity dead but Oliver somehow alive in the end - I will riot. That just seems unnecessarily cruel. 😔

I can't help but feel annoyed that JH is gonna be female lead for the final season, even though she hasn't earned it. LOL. My mind went there, I'm sorry. I just hate Dinah so much and JH has been smug one too many times for me. I won't be watching S8 now but I'm crossing my fingers that they can hopefully get EBR back for the series finale and the crossover, or even just the finale. They need to give this some semblance of a happy ending (although now I'm kinda worried about future Felicity tbh). Sigh. This SUCKS.
