Oh dear. The Emiko actress isn’t very good is she? 😬 I know this episode will likely have less Oliver and Felicity because of the crossover filming but it just reminds me how little I care about the newer characters. NTA, Emiko, flashforwards...all of no interest to me tbh. And the ARGUS plot with Diaz is a big no too.

Dinah tasks Oliver? They're really out there thinking I want to watch some smug asshole who has been on the show for less than 2 seasons and is barely even a sidekick tell Oliver what to do? BYE. 😂

I think the flashforwards could've potentially been interesting to watch if they'd handled them properly but as with most things Arrow, they did not. If they'd based them around OTA's kids getting together to uncover some mystery of where their parents had gone and learning about their parents lives from 20 plus years previously along the way, I think I would have enjoyed that, mostly. The city wouldn't have needed to be a dumpster fire, Felicity wouldn't be vilified and not everything would be depressing and bleak. AND it would've been around characters I actually care about and am invested in. As it stands, I'm wondering what the hell Beth was even thinking tbh. The city has gone to shit, making everything the team are currently doing (and have done for 6 years) completely pointless. I couldn't care less about Rene's daughter Zoe so IDK why she's there. Dinah has quickly become a character I truly despise so all this focus on her is super annoying, even though I know logically she's only there to drop info. And even though I like Roy and young William, I can't say I'm all that interested in watching them shade Oliver and Felicity all the damn time, for things we've not even seen them do, all in the name of misdirects and keeping the mystery going. As for Maya, I've been doubting she's even Olicity's daughter (wouldn't shock me if she's Roy and Thea's) but even if she is, how they're gonna explain her own brother not knowing her is something I don't even want to think about. Every scenario just seems awful and depressing and bums me out. I'm just not sure what any of this really adds to the show or story tbh.

I very rarely ever trust or agree with SA's opinion on an episode so my expectations for the 150th haven't changed. They're still very low. LOL.

Yep. I guarantee nothing in the FF is gonna make much sense by the end of the season. It’s like they’re constantly trying to throw us off the scent by dragging out the mystery. Badly. It’s like...one episode Dinah refused to trust Oliver Queen’s son and then the next episode she said she did and then blathered on about how wonderful Oliver was. William hints that he was abandoned but also that he left. Everything feels contradictory. Issa mess! 🙄😂

Flashbacks, although pretty terrible at times, at least made sense to me. I truly do not know the point of these flashforwards, especially featuring a ton of characters IDGAF about and having everything so dark and depressing. I hate Dinah. I don’t care about Zoe. Roy doesn’t even feel like the Roy I used to like and he’s barely even present. William is petulant and shades Felicity all the time and I definitely don’t care about Maya now that I’m sure she isn’t Olicity’s daughter. There is no investment in any of these people. It’s truly fast forward material. I hate them.

Ah, I see! I didn't know that. As someone who'd never heard of GA or BC before this show, putting them in guest roles makes sense to me.

It'll come back eventually. Or maybe they want to do a Birds of Prey run instead, what with the DC movie coming out? IDK how these things work tbh.

The way SA got all choked up when he said "Love is too small a word." Loved that. (I wonder if it was a case of his "when Emily cries, I cry" thing he mentioned after 623?) He really does excel in those quiet, emotional scenes sometimes.

I don't think she is (I think they're all just newbies hanging out together) but if Emiko is in the FF, literally everyone but the characters I like are gonna be in them. LOL.

The FF lost me when they said Felicity died tbh and now I’m just annoyed at them, both for super slow info dumps we get and because Dinah’s all over them. Logically I know why she’s there but I also think the whole thing would’ve been better if she wasn’t. Also they’re writing it in a way where nothing is what it seems and I guarantee there’s gonna be tons of plot holes by the end of the season as a result. Keeping up the mystery is problematic.

I’m happy JJ is gonna be in the FF! Also pleased they got the same actor, too. I liked him. I wonder if one of these episodes is gonna be majority FF at some point, kind of like they used to have once a season with the flashbacks?

All I know is that the director of 712 posted a BTS pic of himself with SA, RG and JH at the SCPD set. SA was dressed as GA. That made me think I'll have to put up with this awfulness until then at least. I'M TIRED. 😫😂

Yeah, I'm not a fan. I miss the bunker and the team running out of that with Felicity on comms. I actually think Oliver working for the SCPD (and Dinah) is a huge mistake on Beth's part. Also it rubs me up the wrong way that Dinah will be in charge. Does that woman ever earn anything?! Makes my blood boil. Unfortunately, no, I doubt Felicity is being Overwatch as we know it but then again, with Oliver randomly turning up to crime scenes in plain clothes, he's not the GA we know either. It's all so weird, I really hate it. But I was worried Felicity would be completely ignored or sidelined so I'm pleased that she is helping a little with the case, even if it's not the way I want her to right now. How many episodes do we think this Oliver/SCPD thing is gonna last? Surely they're all gonna suit up as a team again at some point soon, right?

Oliver's new wardrobe is tragic. My eyes are sad. 😫😂

I hope Felicity is the one who figures out Emiko is Oliver's sister, you know, seeing as she knows his DNA sequence. Haha.

I think Emiko does play a bigger role but I'm also expecting a lot of Dinah and Rene, purely based on the fact that they weren't filming the crossover like everyone else. Also they'll be in the FF.

Unfortunately I think it will be. Both Dinah and Rene weren't in the crossover and 710 was filming around the same time, so it makes sense they'd have more to do as they were free to film more. Basically we should all prepare ourselves. 😂😂 I really hope we see Felicity as Overwatch though. Seeing her in the promo at a computer was an unexpected surprise so fingers crossed she's drawn back to it more and more.

It's because they're using her way too much. They need to put her back to S5 level of screentime/focus. But I'm not sure how it can be unfair when it's the truth. There's an air of desperation around her tbh. She needs this role to succeed so she's trying way too hard. I just wish she'd make better acting choices. Nothing she does ever fits the scene appropriately. It's so weird and annoying. I got my hopes up for a house but really it was just a new ugly apartment set. They hate us! 😂

That 710 promo. IDK what I expected but it wasn’t Oliver and Dinah walking into crime scenes together like he really is a cop. It’s weird he’s not wearing his GA costume. How long is this gonna last because I hate it. I’m happy Felicity is somehow involved though. But seriously, I’m gonna need this Police Consultant thing to end and Oliver to get a new bunker. The last thing I want is to watch Oliver and Dinah scenes, especially if the latter is gonna be a smug asshole. Also are we supposed to think Rene has known Emiko for a while? I’m confused.
