Trials and Tribulations of Juicy and Tre...
chlban replied to Stinger97's topic in The Real Housewives Of New Jersey
I don't know i her family coming on "saved" her or not, but I know I quit watching halfway through last season primarily because I was sick to death of watching the Gorga's and Guidices (however it is pronounced) fighting. I also could not stand Joe Gorga who I see as an ignorant little troll with a sexual obsession. I did try again early this season because 1. Dina was the one cast member I hadn't hated, and 2. Caroline and her stupid, boring family was gone. Little did I know it woud be even worse with the Dumb and Dumber twins, and that the Guduices and Gorga's were even more boring when they were getting along. Of Course Joe Gorga is still a troll. Not to mention that the constant Joe and TRE sympathy play from all cast members was, literally, stomach turniing. All the franchises have their issues. There are HoWives on each franchise that I think have run their course and the public would like to see gone (Brandi, Tamra, NeNE and Aviva). But there really is no one left, IMO, on this franchise that is even remotely worth watching. I fully expect that BRAVO will try to milk the jail time, and Joe as a single parent, but I think even we, BRAVO viewers, have standards that wtill prevent that from succeeding. The exploitation of those four innocent girls needs to stop. Obviously their parents won't stop it and certainly BRAVO won't. Only the viewers can stop it by refusing to watch this train wreck any further. This show has truly become awful and unwatchable, IMO. Bury it and let it rest in peace. I quit watching "Dance Moms" a while back because I realized I was watching child abuse wrapped up as "entertainment". I think we all need to recognize that we are doing the same thing by tuning into this train wreck. What has been done to those girls is unforgivable. -

Clearly if they thought this interview was going to help them in any way they were, once again, sadly mistaken. The public sentiment seems even worse than before. Just watching the two lying, self absorbled, delusional, liars has only made it worse. -

Even worse, from the courts point of view, than denying guilt is her statements that she didn't understand it. Part of any plea deal is a statement form the Defendent that they understand what they are pleading to. She just admitted, on National TV, that she, once again, perjured herself. Nice work Tre. The stupidity of this couple is truly stunning. Along with the fact that they never, ever learn. -

I feel so dirty this morning. i cannot believe I actually wached. So, the consensus seems to be that they were contractually obligated or got paid a boatload of money for the crapfest. Interesting because I felt like that moron Teresa may actually think if she whines enough the judge will change her mind. Or maybe she beleives her massive fan base will petition the court to change her sentence. Loved how she was subtely blaming her attorney "that's what you hire them for, to fight for you". Honey, after the way you and that thug you married carried on on National television, flaunting your make up artishs, hairdressers, parties and dinners in New York, perhaps you should consider what your attorney had to work with. Idiots. You're luck you didn' t get the same sentence as Joe. Ah, but the clincher had to be Milania doesn't know what happened. Even Andy, not exactly the epitome of parental knowledge, tried to point out that an 8 year old had to have heard something from their schoolmates. But., Nah, the Queen of Denial is alive and well. That stupid woman has not learned one, single thing. It is still deny, pretend and deflct blame. I do feel for those girls, but not because their parents are going away. In fact, I suspect them going away might be the only hope they have. Unfortunately they are not going away together so they will be subjected to an alcoholic, disinterested Dad. and then a delusional, idiot Mom. The true tragedy is that two moronic, selfish sociopaths are allowed to procreate. Four times, no less. That is tragic. I truly, truly hate these people. -
Yes, Grandma is definitely the most interesting character yet, IMO. Definite evil uncertones that one. I am sick of Sherriff Fred though. He and Elaine can go out an search for Caleb and never come back as far as I'm concerned. Neither is even remotely interesting. Grandma, OTOH is interesting.

This and This. I am fearing the wrtiers don't know where they are going. If this turns into another "Lost" i wll give up on this type of mystery forever. If it turns into another UTD I may have to just give up TV. Also, so true about the conspiracy nuts. I remember sitting at the dog park shortly after we killed Bin Laden and listening to a perfectly normal appearing couple tell me that the entire thing was a hoax and that, yes indeed, the entire U.S. Cabinet and, arguably, the most respected military unit ,if not in the world, certainly in the US, were in on it. I realized then that there is nothing that is immune to the conspiracy nuts. There is no way this little town would not be overrun with wingnuts and media types. I don't want to see it become the focus of the show, but a little attentkion to it would be nice.

S06.E12: Pack Your Bags And Get Out!
chlban replied to Tara Ariano's topic in The Real Housewives Of New Jersey
Wow, because they really think their viewers are so stupid we don't know how to delete a recorded program? Yeah probably. I have often said that someone would have to pay me to sit through an episode of "Don't Be Tardy", but I could not even be paid to watch anything Manzo. I sincerely hope it is a giant BOMB. -

Everyone needs to stop watching. I think I made it through 2 or 3 episodes this season before bowing out. Last season I made it about 1/2 way through the season. New Jersey as become, IMO, the most offensive of all primarily because of these two. but then add The Gorga's, Amber and pee wee and the twins, Dumb and Dumber, and really there is nothing worth watching. My personal favorites are Dina's dog and cat, but their parts are just too small. -

Yes, I am trying to figure this out as well. How are they driving around in new vehicles. I have perfect credit and make a decent living, but am driving a 10 year old car because the thought of a car payment just feels too risky in todays economy. Yet they are driving newer luxry cars. How does that work? I guess when you actually pay your bills the thought of another payment is far more daunting. IT still really ticks me off. -

My favorite part: "Fact is, ratings for “RHONJ” have reportedly dropped this season. And while that could be attributed to the not-so-exciting new “housewives” from Colts Neck who joined the show, it could also be because viewers have gotten tired of and disgusted by the Giudices" Ya think? Hear it BRAVO. Disgusted does not even begin to describe it. -

I hope she "gets" it even then. One of the reasons I refuse to watch this season is that in the couple of episodes I did watch, Everyone, not jus the two criminals in question, was acting as if Joe and Tre had just been diagnosed with a terminal disease. I could not stomach the "poor Joe and Teresa" crap. Terminal diseases, the loss of a child, losing your home to a fire or flood, those are tragedies. A criminal getting caught is not a tragedy. It is Justice. The problem is I don't think these people have any integrity. I am certain Teresa couldn't define it, hell she probably couldn't pronounce it. Apparently neither can anyone else on this show because if they can only feel sympathy for thsee people then they clearly don't get it. They committed crimes. They are paying. Good. Good. Good. I can feel compassion for the children, but I cannot even say sympathy. Because heaven knows, with their screwed up families, this may be the ONLY lesson they ever get in what happens when you do not do the right thing. In the long run I have to think they will be better for it.- 5.8k replies

I don't suppose they will allow BRAVO to film in prison, but if they did i would probably watch this train wreck again. -

I would have liked to see more time, but as long as they don't suspend it, I guess I am reasonably satisfied. Certainly better than once again using her kids and getting no time at all. Do they allow make up artists and hairdressers to come to the jail? Cuz it not, I am prettty sure that idiot will consider it hard time. -
I guess I am the dissenting view. I couldn't even finish it. Switched over to an ancient "Cold Case" rerun on cable and waited for "Stalker" to start. I just can't with JLH. She is horrid. I will still catch the reruns from time to time, thanks to Cable, but I am done with this show going forward.

It's 95 degrees in So. CA today. I'll decide it's still a perfect day for sentencing if Teresa gets jail time. -
This. If felt real different to me and not in a good way. I am so feeling the "Under The Dome" vibe and I didn't even make it all the way to the end of the first season of that particular piece of trash. I actually thought all the returned coming back from decades ago could be interesting. Now, I am rapidly losing interest. Evidenced by the fact that i stil lhave not made it all the way through this episode on my DVR, while I couldn't wait to finish viewing "How to Get Away With Murder". I'll try another week or so, but it better speed up. I am already sick of Sheriff Fred.

I actually really enjoyed this show. Yes, i did think the whole conversation between the two leads was odd and seemed really "off" as I don't believe such a conversation would take place today if for no other reason than everyone's fear of litigation. But., that aside, I enjoyed it. Since I cannot really stomach Criminal Minds any more because the subject matter has really has just gotten too gross, even for a crime show and they have now added JLH to the cast, so I just could not possibly sit thought an hour of her god awful acting. I have never really loved the various CSI's, so I am pretty happy with this show. So far this and "How to Get Away With Murder" are the only two new shows I will even be back for a second look on.

WTF? These people are just too screwed up for words. Yes, I can certainly see wanting to get together with family, but a freakin' party? Really? I bet Teresa had her make up artist and hairdresser come out and get her ready. I pray to got the Judge taking all this in. These two losers deserve th have the book thrown at them. -

I wonder if Tre will have her hairdresser and make up artist come to the house to get her ready for the sentencing hearing? It irks me that they live in a much bigger (and much tackier, but I digress) house than I, drive better cars than I and have make up artists come to the house which I have never done in my life. OTOH, I'm not looking at jail time. -

I am not a Martha fan, but what she did, which was basically lie about an insider tip, is absolutely trivial in comparison to what these two have done. It will be a travesty, IMO, if Teresa, the lying, cheating, stupid biotch, gets a similar sentence. She should get life for her lousy mothering skills alone. God, I hate these people. All of them. Dina and Kathy are about the only ones (along with the children and pets, of course) that I don't wish to be sent into the fires of hell. Joe and Tre can go by way of a Federal Prison. -

Lauren Bacall died a day or so after Robin so I am thinking Joan was #3. "I blame my mother for my poor sex life. All she told me was 'the man goes on top and the woman underneath.' For three years my husband and I slept in bunk beds" Joan Rivers. Rest in Peace. -
Sadly, I don't think there is a snowball's chance in hell this show will be renewed. The ratings were dismal, which is why they kept playing around with the scheduling and putting that horrendous "Don't be Tardy" garbage on first. Why the hell that thing draws more veiwers than this I do not understand, but then I am still trying ot figure out "Shah's of Sunset" and "Below Deck" coming back. I enjoyed this, and wish it would be back. Leha has bugged me all season. I just think her stupid loyalty to her lunatic husband was absurd. I haven't liked Lynn either, but I agree she came out way ahead in this last episode. You don't go to court and take out a restraining order because you, or your idiot husband, gets into a verbal brawl with someone else on the show. If that were the norm, BRAVo would have to set up filiming for all their shows at the nearest courthouse. If anything, I'd be willing to allow Lynne a restraining order against nutcase Nick. That man is dangerous. So nice to know he is also armed. I will miss this. Other than the Housewives, I have liked very few BRAVO shows. I enjoyed this and "Ladies of London" and they both bombed. It took me a while to warm up to "Southern Charm" but ultimately found it watchable, if not a fave. Looks like that one may be back, but otherwise, I may have to quit BRAVO at least for the time being. I won't watch RHONJ, because even I have standards, and with this show finished, i guess I am too, at least until RHOBH comes back.
