I never even got through a full Season of Atlanta, so I can't compare. My point was less about the reasons for the divorce though. I do not believe Tom and Erika were ever a love match. That doesn't mean they had no affection for each other, but I doubt the marriage would have taken place if Tom was a truck driver. Tom bought himself a young trophy wife. He is hardly the only guy to do so.

I haven't watched this episode yet. I watched BH live and then re-watched it yesterday. I went to the DVR thinking I would watch NY, but clicked on BH again. Dog dumper Dorit is, and has always been, a trash person. I thought she was trying a redemption ark, but her near hysterical tantrum over having to rinse a dish last week and her usual phony two faced routine last night ruined that. Not that she could ever redeem herself to me. I detest her.

It is spot on. Suddenly the woman who always acted superior to everyone else, who seemed to think that prancing around half naked on stage actually meant she was a "star" is trying to play victim and it is not working. She also wants to pretend she is finally confiding in these fake friends that we all know she never gave a damn about, except it is painfully obvious that she isn't "confiding" in them either, she is lying through her capped, whitened teeth and wearing non waterproof mascara as part of the act. I think I am as fascinated by how she seems to think anyone is buying her fake act as I am by the act itself. But, as bad as this is for Erika, it's a huge score for BRAVO. The last two seasons of this have been tedious at best. Although I was not a huge Denise fan, she is a bit rough around the edges for my taste, I was still livid at the Coven for putting her on trial about possibly having sex with another consenting adult. Yet, this year, bring on the interrogation. As I think Sutton was trying to say when she used the term "white collar", this is NOT a victimless crime, and Erika is doing herself far more damage than anyone else is and I am here for it.

While I understand Kathy's comment, attributed to Michael Jackson, about not seeing color, is now problematic but, in all honesty, it is only in the last couple of years that I became aware of that and why. Kathy is only a few years younger than I am and most if us were raised to believe not seeing color was the goal. So, I did not have the feeling that Kathy meant anything offensive and I think Garcelle did a great job of explaining, not attacking or lecturing.
