  1. WTH did I just watch? Did they just run out of things to fight about and decide to do a Josie and the Pussycats segment? Weird.
  2. Wonder how that works with the famous Vowel renewal curse of the howives? Hopefully, it doesn't count since, next to Archie, Shane is my favorite.
  3. I thought I was the only person that doesn't like Dolores. She is a user and figured out early that remaining Teresa's little lap dog would keep her on the show.
  4. Exactly. I am so sick of Maddie. I was so happy they broke up because what she did is unforgivable. Completely.
  5. Like last season, when Shannon is the best of the bunch, your show is in big trouble. I just watched reruns of an earlier season with Heather. I used to like Heather, pretensions and all, but she is not at all likeable. She also looks so much worse and I honestly think her hair is a big part of it. She used to wear it loose and looked good. Those pulled back looks are bad for her. I have always said Emily was too boring and she still is. Noella is still batshit crazy and, as much as I dislike Heather, I do not believe she assaulted anyone. Held her hand over a Camera lens? Sure. But assault? No way. Jen is in the running to be more boring than Emily. Maybe they need to do a legacy series on this like they say they are doing for NY because it just seems to get worse. Although I still say this season is minimally better than last. No Braunwyn.
  6. BRAVO should do a marathon of the craziest, and most Iconic, episodes from the various franchises. These come to mind quickly: Allison whoever on BH. Vickie and the Family Van. And, of course, never to be forgotten, Scary Island.

    S05.E12: Boston

I turned it off 5 minutes in. I will try once more, but too much JLH and her angst and I am done. Most of the way there already. This show ain't what it used to be. If I want personal and family drama, I would watch This is Us. No JLH. Get back to the action.
  8. He is a plastic surgeon in Newport Beach. I am sure he pulls in a bundle. Funny story. My dog was diagnosed early stage Kidney disease. One of the highest regarded Internal Medicine Vets is in Newport Beach and she is my baby and I wanted the best. We waited over an hour and while in the lobby a lovely, well preserved older lady came In to pick up her dog and told us, breathlessly, that someone had stolen a Yacht and then rammed it into several boats near where her boat was moored. I so wanted to say "I hate it when that happens" but restrained myself. Her boat was fine. Sitting in that office seeing all the pretty people come and go was interesting. I live in a nice area of Orange County but felt really out of place. I am sure Heather would have been totally comfortable but probably livid about being kept waiting. BTW, the Vet was very thorough, but the exam and blood tests, which I had run at my regular Vet 3 weeks earlier for about $350 cost me just under $1,000. My regular Vet is in Seal Beach, so it isn't as if he has to offer low rates based on demographics. Newport Beach is an expensive place.
  9. I still have a wietd soft spot for the former Countess. No idea why, but she is really the only one I will miss at all from last year. Maybe she will end up on the Legacy show.
  10. Does anyone actually care about any of these people anymore? I know I would miss Archie if Shannon goes, but they do not give him enough screen time anyway. I will not be surprised if this show goes the way of NY. Time to reboot. This show is a sad shadow of what it once was.
  11. There definitely is for me. BRAVO runs re runs of earlier seasons quite often during the week and I enjoy them. Pretty much all the franchises I watch were better earlier, especially NY, NJ and OC, IMO. Considering how the new casting has been in these shows I would much rather watch the "Legacy" show. Wish they would do it on OC too. Which they might after their second disastrous season on that one too.
  12. I don't think Ebony and Leah are staying either.
  13. Agree. Stop trying to force people to another streaming source. However, I can't help but notice the Ultimate Trainwreck... I mean Girls Trip, is now being shown on BRAVO so that plan may not be working as expected.
  14. This has always baffled me. Yeah, don't mess with married men, but he's the one that took the vows and made the promises.
  15. Amen. Most of the men on N.O. were mature, responsible and intelligent. Such a contrast to the Peter Pan's on this show.
  16. Same. First couple of seasons I couldn't figure out why she was even there. Then liked her last season but, to be fair, Braunwyn, Kelly, Elizabeth could definitely make the others look better than they were. I also have always found Emily boring as hell, but this year she seems to be going more mean girl and, sadly, she's still boring. Although I did like her calling out crazy Noella "it's, literally, all you talk about". Really another dud of a season. They should just rerun the old seasons until they can dig up a few interesting howives for a new season. These are all past their expiration date including the brand new ones.
  17. Kimberly, definitely. She was pretentious, they all were that season except, strangely, Lauri. But I thought she was basically nice and pretty honest about all the pretense.
  18. Must have been 2nd because I just rewatched the season Heather was introduced in and remembered why I liked her. I didn't mind her when she went after Shannon either. Shannon has her own issues Heather is awful this season. I assume she was supposed to play up the "Fancy Pants" thing, but she has gone way too far. Still better than that lunatic Noella though.
  19. You are hanging with the wrong women or judging all women by these narcissistic bitches. Jennifer is nasty too, it's just that some of the other women are worse. As boring as I find Jackie, she might be the nicest and there you go. Most people find her boring so it doesn't serve her well. I am clearly the minority but I don't like Dolores either. I don't detest her like I do Teresa or Melissa, but I honestly think she is weird I remain great friends with my Ex, we still love each other but not romantically, so I get that there are bonds. But the Dolores/Frank relationship is too much. She does not want to let go and it's not healthy.
  20. I watched BRAVO reruns the other day from Heather's first season. I now remember why I liked her. She was a bit pretentious, but nothing like she is now. She also seemed to want to keep the peace and really treated the other ladies with a good deal of courtesy and respect. Maybe she was acting, but I found her quite likeable and they appeared genuinely rich-in a season of Jim and Alexis and Gretchen and Slimey, that alone made her interesting. Her home then was pretty amazing and much more appealing that the monstrosity they built. Too bad the old Heather didn't come back. I was also struck by how much better the entire show was then, even with the aforementioned cast and Vickie and Tamra. The awful people were at least entertainingly awful-I mean Jim and Alexis alone were comedy gold. It was the year of Alexis as a TV host- and head of household Jim reacting to it. Delusional: party of two. Good times.
  21. Yep. I went to school with a guy whose father was an alcoholic and it impacted his life so much, he simply does not drink. Terry was incredibly rude to question him. In my home I naturally ask guests what they would like to drink. I have NEVER commented on their choice.
  22. Sorry, what is SOCAL coke? I grew up in Southern CA, in Long Beach, just over the border of OC, and have lived in the OC since 1982. I have never, in any social situation, bern asked about my drug use, past or present and I would find that question offensive from anyone other than my closest friends.
