I guess the good news is that Jessa can't use Vanessa Giron. I wonder what midwives charge? After all, their services are apparently both pre and post-natal, as well as the actual labor/birth. A couple grand? More? Many of the people I see going to those lay midwives (through my observations of various other fundie families) don't look like they have two nickels to rub together and often already have a passel 'o kids.

That's what they want you to believe. I imagine they painted a few for the cameras. When you look at pics of the lawn, too many of the blue ones were perfect.

I'm not on the conspiracy theory train; I just posted a timeframe. I agree that they enjoy fucking with the leghumpers' heads. They know that those people are their bread and butter, and what better way to stay relevant than to stir up pregnancy talk?

Tomorrow is Muffy's 24th birthday. Methinks she's getting the best 30 seconds of her life as a present.

I've taken that before and gotten Josie both times. It's because of her "independent spirit." I promise that I don't run barefoot all over kitchen counters.

IIRC, that shoot was done on 2/6, and according to a pregnancy date checker, with a due date of 11/1, she would have gotten knocked up on 2/8, or thereabouts.

With Erin's disorder, and from the pics I've seen, probably a C-section, her family size will be limited.

Jessa's just shy of 16 weeks pregnant NOW. Wouldn't April 28th been too early in the pregnancy to determine gender?

6 lb. 19 in. Born just short of 37 weeks, but given the difficulties of pregnancy with her disorder, a very successful outcome! Congrats Chad and Erin! :)

In all fairness to Josh, his courtship was "invisible" because they didn't start taping the episodic show until Mother's Day 2008, and they needed the entire family together for those scenes in NYC and Memphis (or was it Nashville...the hotel with the ducks?). He was engaged in June. I guess the Show figured they would start with the engagement rather than at the end of the courtship, which people were bound to find to be even stranger than their hand-holding only engagement. But to start with asking Pa Keller for Anna's hand seems to be a logical jumping-off point to start Josh's story arc.

Sierra had her last baby in September, and I think she announced her latest pregnancy around the time of the Anna gender reveal party. I'm too lazy to turn my phone back on to check dates, but IIRC, I found out because she announced on Instagram, pretty much right after the pee dried. She's around Anna's age but has Mechelle levels of fertility, so I expect her to have at least a dozen (with no unforseen complications)

At this point, she really has no choice. I do hope that if ANY of these couples grow apart that they're allowed to go to counseling, or *gasp* divorce if there are irreconciable differences. Muffy has the Conenant Marriage, but nothing was ever said about Benessa's union. It's hard to predict which way Marsiah will go, mostly because they ARE so young! Anecdotally, the only people who I know that married young who are still together are NOT with their very first partner. Much like the senior Duggars (at least that harlot Michelle).

Many of the Duggar daughters do this (Jana and Joy are the worst offenders), but none of the sons. It's weird.

I can't believe Sierra really "volunteered" to throw that hot mess of a party. Sounds like producer-intervention to me. eta: All real, production crew? Like how everyone is acting like they never see one another, when in REAL reality, Smuganna are at the TTH every other week. They act like Marcus hasn't stayed in the guest house hundreds of times before this. I imagine the MKids all have their own bedrooms there, and for this vacation, Jana and Joy slept there with them.

Frank Sun was likely edited out, since he's no longer a member of said crew. Sean Overbeeke, who produced the show for years, was also quite missing. eta: I spotted Frank in the very last still they showed of the crew, after most people would have turned the channel. Overbeeke may have been in that pic as well, but it was a large group shot, and I didn't feel like rewinding (nor did I bother DVRing this).
