Hahaha, I remember when they did the same thing with Lauren on Alias. She started out the season with normal makeup but as she gradually got shadier every week, her eyeliner got thicker and darker.

Ha, I'd glanced at Red Mountain's website before and saw the word "hiking" a few too many times (even the main picture on the home page is people hiking!) so I noped on outta there pretty quickly. :) Calistoga is a great suggestion, though, thanks! Close to wine country and more affordable than Sonoma.

Anyone have any budget-friendly spa vacation recs for North America? None of those nightmare 1000-calorie no-alcohol places where you hike 15 miles a day. Think pampering more than boot camp. :) The BFF and I are researching a trip around May.

OMG. 100% guaranteed I never would've tuned in to watch a single minute of this show if I'd ever seen that promo. BLECH. ::Buffy shudder .gif::

I liked James at first, then was mostly bored/indifferent, but the Guardian arc made me actively dislike him. He was so contemptuous and condescending when he asked Kara who she thought she was to decide who got to be a hero it made me instantly dislike him, and realize that despite her superpowers, IMO he's never seen her/treated her like an adult or an equal. Mon-el's immature, but he's learning. And because he's immature, at least I've never gotten the feeling that he considers Kara a child he has to guide and lecture. Which is a vibe I always got from James.

It smoothed out a lot, yeah. The more you learned about both Jane (New and Original Flavors) and Deb, the more they became real people and less 2-dimensional caricatures.

By S4-S5 the Jane/Greyson Bad Timing Ship Stall and the Will He or Won't He Find Out got a bit ridiculous, but that was kind of the whole premise of the show. There was some nice character development: over time Kim was shown to have a lot more layers, and Stacy challenged herself professionally in a way that gave her more depth too. Jane's and Deb's moms both recurred for multiple eps which enriched Jane's backstory a lot. There ended up being kind of a guardian angel revolving door which was a little weird. And there were a lot of fun guest stars. The show did a few things that surprised me, especially at the end, but in a good way.

I just finished bingeing all 6 seasons of Drop Dead Diva on Netflix this weekend and I couldn't help thinking that some ridiculous lawsuit based on this Best Pic mixup would've been tailor-made for Jane to litigate.

The Starling City Times: News and Media about Arrow
MariaHill replied to Grammaeryn's topic in Arrow
The show is obviously never going to explore any of this, but I would read *all the fanfics* based on these questions. -
Also, the characters basically *shrug* at detonating nukes these days, but in a city as weird and violent as Star City, gun violence suddenly merits a Very Special Ep? Okay then.

Felicity's Bratva blackmail scene is clearly the episode favorite in SpoilerTV's poll: (Wendy Mericle: "Huh.")* *Sorry, that is going to be my kneejerk response to every fandom poll ever from now until the heat death of the universe, because LOLS.

Isn't Matt Mitovich friends with Suzanne Gomez?
