A decent game for me. I got the ts's or missed dd's of Babe Ruth, William Holden, Yucatan, and Androcles. I finally got a Final Jeopardy this week so not skunked. The Old North Church is the only landmark I could think of with lanterns associated with it so I figured that was it. I liked Eric and Katherine better than Kevin but he is okay too.

Possibly it was a version of Robin Hood. I know there were several tv shows about Robin Hood and Richard I was the king at the time even if King John was taking over for him while Richard fought in the crusades.

An okay game for me. I got the ts's or missed DDs of Martha Mitchell, lady of the lake, boater, sour grapes, leopard, celery, kaiser Wilhelm, and buttery. I said Suleiman for FJ. I was about three centuries late but the first and last letters are the same so I figure that is at least close. Don't know why contestants would think either Virgil or Ghengis Khan were Kurdish. I am 0/4 this week so tonight is do or die FJ.

Same here. I did also briefly consider the Howards - Moe, Curly, and Shemp but had no idea if they even had another brother who may or may not have died, but was pretty sure it was a studio thing. I did get the ts's or missed DDs of Poland, Black Hole of Calcutta, Robin Williams, and water buffalo. I can't remember who won the game. The contestants haven't been making much impression on me lately.

That was almost too intense for me what with Jesse nearly dying and Rex locked in a container and maybe being sent to Ghana. It's a good thing this wasn't a cliffhanger - I don't think I could've stood it.

I'm sorry to see Emma go but that's the way it goes. I had only one ts: She Loves You. I did get Santa Fe for FJ but never would have come up with Cheyenne. I was thinking more of Sacramento. I wonder where the woman in the middle thinks Denver is located, to be somewhere between Boston and Albany.

I'm glad Emma won again although I thought she was a goner during the first round - it was good to see her pull herself up to be in the lead at the end. I got the ts's or missed DDs of shelve twelve, opium wars, and cricket (on the hearth). I said accents instead of diacritical marks - acceptable? I knew praetorian guard but could not pull it out of the dark recesses of my brain in time so no FJ for me last night.

I think the writers from So Help Me Todd are also working on The Spencer Sisters. They have the very same story line about the mothers' relationship with their husbands. Next week's episode is the season finale. No word yet if it has been renewed. I hope it will be.
